Wonderful pub grub that's both familiar and a wee bit different. Can't say much for the salad bar as we sat late, so we had what we had, but everything else was pure dead brilliant. The dirty bird burger sounds maybe a touch too much but it hits the spot with room to spare for dessert! The spare no effort piling up the most sensational sundaes, but I'll admit we are glad we got one to share!

Out for dinner. Salad is still free when you are there for dinner. However, you have to wait for a member of staff put in a bowl your choices. Very limited and the only had thousand Island source. Disappointed that the number of items was very limited and that you could not serve yourself. Felt as if the management were being stingy. Had fish and chips with peas. The fish was excellent, however, the chops were dry as wet the peas. I don't think that both items were fresh My wife had the macaroni cheese whish she enjoyed. Pre Covid they were really great with the quality with their food. If they want more customers, they will definitely need to improve the quality of their food. There are better options near by.

We were here for breakfast with Santa this morning and it was great! Laura our server was fab and very friendly. Santa was brilliant and hilarious, as was his elf helper! The kids were very happy 😁

Had breakfast here this morning. Ordered eggs Mediterranean and an americano. The eggs were very good. The coffee was a filtered coffee, but not unpleasant. Place was clean and the staff friendly.

We usually visit the soft play which is great value for money. Its clean and well presented and had a lovely lady called Fiona running it whilst we visited. She ensured we had everything we needed and kept the soft play very clean. The upstairs team are great, Martin the manager is lovely and both of the Lisa's. Ben is great in the kitchen and Anna and Amy are fantastic servers there. The food was lovely and we were happy the salad bar was well stocked. We look forward to coming back soon.

Family lunch 5 adults and two children. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly face and given the option to choose the best table for us. We chose a table at the window so toddler could watch for the cars going by. Server Katie was very attentive without being all over us. Food and drinks were served in good time and delicious. We asked if we could order deserts but eat them downstairs in the soft play area. This was not a problem, in fact Katie offered to check if there was a suitable table for us. Our descents were delivered downstairs to us. Would we return. definitely yes. There was a gentleman serving our table but unfortunately I did not get his name. He was equally as friendly, particularly when serving my grandson his salad bar.

I come here at least once or twice a month for breakfast and I absolutely love it. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Lesley-Ann served me and my mum today, she was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Not got a bad thing to say about this place - I’ll probably be back next week 😂

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our 70th birthdays. Danielle our server was amazing. She was so attentive and friendly. Special thanks to the chefs working in the heat. Our meals were delicious and all of our family thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

Went tonight with a group of friends and kids after a fun day out arrived at 6pm soft play was closed. Shuts at 6pm. I feel this could be opened slightly later for families who prefer a later dinner. Service was fab staff very helpful food was lovely xx

Food was nice enough and reasonable price. The salad bar was closed with us told that the chef's hadn't set it up. We then overheard other explanations from supply issue to the chiller was broken. We also heard others being offered salad brought to their table. This may be a minor inconvenience but the "stories" made it frustrating. Difficult to pay as not enough staff.

Enjoyed the food. We took the 2 courses for 10.99 which we thought was great until we were hit withnearky 7 pounds VAT in top of the bill. Which wasn't ideal. Maybe should say on menu how much vat ur going to pay on top

Disappointed, only went as it had a play area for the grandchildren. Only to be told it is £3 charge per child, nowhere on the site does it say this, they were disappointed as on principle i wouldnt pay. Also one if the children ordered chilli from the children's menu, but it was way to hot even for me. They did change it though. I can understand if your only having coffee but we had food and drinks. Won't go back.

We have visited twice the 1st time would of got a 5 star the second time would of been between a 1/2 as It was basically what wasn't on the menu the food was tasty and the service was good but i noticed that all the sauces were out of date by 2 days poor oversight if they arnt on top of that what else are they not on top of I think they should reduce the menu if they can't at least offer more than 60 percent of it.

Big thank u to Anna & Sophie for being fabulous at my little girls Fuzzy Ed (East Kilbride) party this week. They were rushed off their feet serving customers, cleaning up after people, running up & down the stairs & organising the kids party. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all done with a smile. No doubt they are totally over worked & under paid so to the manager - these girls deserve a pay rise & a promotion. Stopped here after a long day for a quick meal with 3 kids. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The food we ordered was mostly in keeping with bar/restaurant type food although I went for a katsu curry and it was absolutely delicious. The harvester has great memories for my husband and I for just popping in for a quick bite and some drinks as we use to live round the corner (pre covid and pre children). Frequently visit this Harvester and we love it. Always efficient and reliable service, and love that the menu is so flexible, so if you want to swap something (eg chips for jacket potato) that isn't a problem. Staff are always lovely and do anything they can to help. Breakfasts were lovely I had full Scottish and my Daughter had the Vegan Breakfast both were lovely as was the coffee. As we are still in difficult times it was good to see there were hand sanitizer's at entrances,and although they have my email my daughter was able to scan her details at door.The staff were wearing masks also. The food is delicious. They have a unlimited salad bar which tides you over till you get your food but you don't get your bowls for it till you have ordered your food so if your waiting a while to get served then you will be waiting a while to get your salad. The place is really nice inside nice atmosphere. I got calamari sticks to start which were lovely then a full rack of ribs with corn on the cob and rice also lovely and me and my partner shared a waffle with ice cream for dessert which was yummy. The only thing I could say against it was when it was getting within an hour of closing they started to put the blinds down which made me feel a bit rushed to leave even though there was still a good bit of time before the place closed don't see why they couldn't wait till the place was actually closed to do this. All in all I would deffinetly recommend for food.

We used to go to Harvester's quite a lot however one thing we never realised was that the East Kilbride Harvester has a large soft play area built into the downstairs floor. We took our toddler there for breakfast and she loved it so much she did not want to leave. We will definitely be returning!

Let me begin this review by saying, I am Canadian. So I have some very high standards. We had starters, mains, and dessert. The food was absolutely delicious. The service, was like nothing else I've ever had in the United Kingdom. Seated and drinks ordered within 2 minutes. The waitress appropriately up-sold sides and extras. drinks were topped up, mains came out within 5 minutes of our starters being taken away, check backs were done, special attention was paid to my little boy and you could tell that the whole team of staff were working together like a well oiled machine. We were seated at 430, and left before 6. 3 courses with a 4 year old child. Incredible service. Highly recommended. :)

A great pub for fast easy food for all ages. After activity sessions for the teens we needed to find food fast. We drove in at 1330 two adults and five teens some of whom will out eat an adult at any or all opportunity. Easy clearly marked disabled parking close to the door. We were met almost immediately at the door and shown to a suitable large table. Drinks and orders quickly taken and salad bowls filled. As always great fresh food and lots of it. The mains arrived in good time and had been nicely prepared and plated. Another great Harvester experience.

We visit harvester a lot and take our little one to soft play. My son is 3 and only really uses the soft play part. It is a good facility but needs some mainenence, for example the tables started with corner guards but these have since come off and the tables are left with screws hanging out the corners. It is a hit and miss with the staff, some are friendlier than others although i find none from the softplay part would really go out their way. Some basics need to be gone over, i reported milk had spilled in the cutlery holder and instead of washing them the girl just took them out to dry them on a cloth...they were not clean. Overall the food is fine, cheap and cheerful. The softplay itself is a good size and great when quiet but it too is starting to show signs of wear and tear. If this is left the same as the tables we will not return much longer

Weve been to a couple of Harvesters from Cornwall to East Kilbride. The difference between them are astonishing. In East Kilbride the resturant felt very homely but in Plymouth it never had that feel. Also the menu was the same, but East Kilbride was far better than plymouth in the end result of the food. There are no money off offers which surprised me. Great value for money.
