Had a takeaway from here at the weekend and although always good it really was amazing. Food was really fresh and delicious, best Indian around here by a mile. The wings and chicken pakora in particular where superb.

I have ordered a few times from this place but usually through justeat. Today i picked up my food after calling directly with the restaurant. I was a bit worried because of a few low star reviews. I feared perhaps they changed ownership/staff and the food had gone down hill etc as it has been a while since i had food from here. Ordered mix pokara, mince somosas and lamb madras, rice and popodoms. I used to get their chick pokora and it was always the best pokora i ever had. I remember their curries being average. Well my food tonight didn't disappoint. Mix pokora was amazing and crispy, not dried out like other places. Just perfect. Mince somosa very flavourful and crispy. Lamb madras very good. Even the poppadoms are amazing. Alot of places where ive had them are almost stale. Would def recommend and come again. Only reason why i dont use this place as much as i would like is that i usually order food late at night after my work and this place doesnt open as late as others. Even when i opened the door to collect my food the place smelled amazing. Best pokora i ever had!! And im not a pokora person!

Got a delivery from what was always my favourite Indian... I was very disappointed when I meal came as the king prawns where very overdone. And like rubber. Had to put in bin and only ate the sauce and nan bread. The prices everywhere has risen... But the prices in here are well over the top...

My first visit to this place, although the friend I was with is a regular. The staff were so so lovely, and the food was first class. Good choice on the menu and what was delivered to our table was fresh, tasty and just what we needed on a dark February evening. The waiter was also very patient when I had to ask a weird question regarding a sauce! Absolutely recommend to those looking for a great meal!

Food is really nice, portion sizes are good but it is always very quiet. It gets uncomfortable sitting for too long because the staff will either come over every single time a plate or glass is finished with or they stand at the bar watching you. I get that customer service might be important but if you have 4 or 5 members of staff who are at the bar talking, looking bored or walking over to the buffet to play with the food maybe consider letting a few of them go. I don't think me or my boyfriend will return to sit in we'll stick to ordering at home.

I really appreciated the staff. We were a table of four students of four nationalities. Very chatty and indecisive. Despite that they took great care of us. I find it hard to get spicy enough curries in Glasgow. I asked for them to make it as spicy as they were comfortable doing - it was perfect. I was literally weeping in joyous spicy stupor.

Had the buffet and the meal was outstanding. The Rogan Josh my favourite was perfect . Highly recommended this place . Staff and service are very good but the food outshines everything. Definitely will make this my 1st choice anytime l go out for a meal

Simple selection of about 10 Indian meals during buffet time. There is take away option which was very busy all the time we were in the restaurant. Staff members are presentable, kind and helpful. Food was very good.

Attended on a Friday night for dinner. Given a great window seat with the option of buffet or a la carte. Elected for buffet with every element being a taste of delicious authentic Indian food. Very attentive staff and option of naan bread to accompany the mains. Crisp pint of kingfisher lager to wash the food down. The best quality Indian buffet for the money (£13). Would highly recommend for a casual bite, dinner for two or venue for larger dining groups.

I've lived in this local area for a number of years but never been here - what I've been missing - food is amazingly tasty served by very friendly and helpful staff who are knowledge and well able to cater for any dietary intolerance. I've been reluctant to go back to eating Indian food as I cannot take dairy in my diet but this was not a problem for the staff at Himalaya who were so helpful and kind. I had a wonderful meal and will certainly be coming back!

Excellent Indian restaurant situated on Paisley Rd West next to the Quo Vadis pub. We opted for the great value buffet but they also do an à la carte menu which is also very good as well. The quality is excellent and you are free to eat as much as you can, but I'd say two visits is adequate as you have desert as well. Highly recommended 👍

This is my go to Indian restaurant with the greater Paisley area. Food is fresh and tasty and staff are always welcoming and helpful. Make sure and ask for a lassi, it's not on the menu, but staff will happily make you one. Definitely helps 'cool' the spices!

This place is now my favourite, a little pricey but its definitely worth it as the food is so good , chickens tender , veg taste fresh , flavour so strong . Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

I'm visiting glasgow for work and have been to many Indian restaurants in glasgow and I have been so disappointed...... until I tried himalaya and I'm so glad I found it. It's a million times better than ushas and I'm Indian so I know what to expect when it comes to authentic flavour. The staff here are really friendly I think they are all family and they remember my order everytime and make some really good suggestions. Some people think the more expensive a place is then the food is better, this place proves that theory wrong. Good quality food and excellent service and a good price. U have to try this place and you will be back again and again.
