Been here many times with my family and I have never been disappointed from the excellent starters to the belly busting mains and there is plenty to choose from. Also have a huge range of drinks to compliment the 1st class menu.

The restaurant is beautiful with friendly and lovely staff. The food was delicious. The starters were amazing. All the main plates came with salad and chips or baby potatoes. The meat was cooked as we wished and soft. I highly recommend the restaurant. 😊

Great food. Great choice of different dishes on the menu. Portions are fair value, tasty, well cooked and presented. Nice cheerful and competent staff. Pleasant enough decor and clean. I decided to try this restaurant for the first time on 11/10/2022 after passing by on an almost daily basis. Firstly, I was surprised at how busy it was on a cold Monday October evening and also because it is in the east end of Glasgow. The food was excellent, the service was prompt and attentive. It offers excellent value for money and has a well planned and varied menu and I will definitely be returning soon. It is tastefully decorated and it is obvious that a lot of money has been spent to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for it's guests. This has to be one of the best restaurants in Glasgow. It can stand up in competition to any of the better known establishments in the city.

i have been in Kastriots quite a few times now, the odd time you can over wait for your food but mostly fine. some items on the menu seem slightly overpriced for what they are i.e pate starter, although tasty, why one and a half bits of bread? menu is good but i think they now need to update it a bit. i think, due to the shape of the restuarant, it can get extremely noisy. overall, very good. Staff are always great 👍

The food is really nice, we all enjoyed our food. The biggest issue that I had was the service. It was a busy Saturday night, lots going on and it was a full house. However we had to wait for our table despite the fact that we were a minute or two early. Don't get me wrong, the staff are really friendly, but when you are asked to wait at the bar and there is no service and then when you are actually sitting at your table and no one comes to see you for ten minutes then it soon becomes a bit old. The food didn't take that long to come out once ordered. I would go back, there is nice food, but probably more mid-week.

Normally the food is Great!!, but as you can see from the pictures my starter meatballs were over cooked and look burnt I did test with the fork and yes they were hard, I got the attention of one of the male waiters and he actually said that he thought they looked over cooked, then Why bring them out to your customer?. If he would have returned them back to the pass rather than bringing to my table when he knew they were over cooked, I would not be writing this bad review, but I feel that there is a lesson to be learnt here which in a more Positive sense hopefully this young man wil Believe and trust in his own judgement next time........ The rest of our meal was fantastically Delicious Thankyou for that. Hope to see you soon

The food is ok but nothing special. To be honest I was disappointed but perhaps I had too high expectations considering the rates. The food is good and perhaps the best in that local area but generally the quality is average. I also hate when the take away the plates and not everyone has finished eating and the you need to wait ages before being served again.

Came highly recommended by hubby but my choice of main dish was disappointing. "KASTRIOT'S KLEFTIKO (HS) Our very own recipe of succulent lamb stew slow cooked for hours in our tomato sauce, Greek potatoes, onions, olives, feta cheese, extra virgin olive oil and oregano" Can't have been slow cooked as the potatoes were only partly cooked and the meat tough and dry. Not fall-off the bone as slow cooked lamb should be. A hugh piece of bone covered a third of the plate with maybe three chunks of meat.

Great staff, nice time from ordering to eating. Overall a nice dinner experience! Had the pepperoni pizza which was pretty basic but nice enough. They got one part of an order wrong ( ended up with a chicken burger instead of beef ) but other than that the rest of the meal was good! Folks in the party had the kleftiko and calzone. No complaints for anyone - which is a good sign :-)

The place was mobbed when we arrived and was quickly shown to our table... we were a party of 10... after half an hour our drink order was taken... 10 mins later our food order was taken.. we then waited an hour for the meal to arrive which was worth the wait... the food is out of this world... we then waited another 40 mins for the deserts to arrive ...we said about how long it was taking and we were told it was because it was so busy... it took another 20 mins to pay the bill...so we were almost 3 hours having a meal...wow.... as I say the food was out of this world but I don't think I'd like to sit 3 hours again for the experience...

I thought the service was great, it was a quite quiet but I can't fault them. The starters (feta and goats cheese) were lovely. I had the halloumi skewers, these were cooked nicely and the salad was nice. However the chips felt undercooked and I would or preferred fries or more salad. Maybe I should of said. My mum had the prawn pasta, lovely taste, just lacking in the prawn department. I wouldn't rush back but I would return at a later date and know to ask for the salad rather than chunky chips!

I like the Piri Piri chicken for starters, the chickens falls off the bone, my wife has the Bruschetta Pomodoro, lovely and fresh. A selection of Greek, Italian and western mains from lamb kleftiko, souvlakis, pittas, fish, salad, pizza, burgers and the Steak Tuesday deals. The dessert menu is great too. We like baklava or one of the ice cream dishes. We eat there maybe once every couple of weeks for lunch or a family dinner. It can be busy in the evenings so I would recommend booking in advance. Midweek isn’t as busy. No problems getting seated at lunchtimes. No bad experiences. We’ve had various family birthdays there too. Kastriots is an shining example of a great family restaurant.
