I have previously left a 2 star review due to terrible service received but have visited a few times since then and the service has improved significantly, so have deleted that one as it no longer applies. This is probably the only restaurant focused on healthy food in the city centre. The shakes are amazing and the food is great too. The service is great and the prices are fair.

Delicious food that you don’t feel to guilty about eating — we usually sit outdoors (with our dog) and have been able to customise our meals too (handy for a fussy eater like myself!) Definitely recommend a visit here, great for a quick lunch during work or even a chilled afternoon meal.

Really disappointed with this place. Great idea but poorly expedited. Tables sticky and not clean. Floors dirty, clearly not cleaned that morning. Nor had the toilets. Toast and butter offered on menu, arrived with Flora, no alternative.

Great breakfast. I was in a rush and was able to get in and out in about 25 minutes. I had the eggs habridiean, absolutely delicious! Eggs were poached perfect and you can't go wrong with black pudding. Waitress was friendly and helpful with my time frame. I definitely recommend!

A great concept - you know all the macros and calories of your meal to pick what fits your regime! Everything has a healthy spin to it: brown rice, wholemeal nachos etc. The service was very friendly too! I'd appreciate a better choice of genuinely low calorie meals, maybe some Japanese konjac noodles?

Definitely one of my favourite places to eat. As a gym lady I do appreciate knowing my macros from time to time, so it takes away the stress. The food is delish (my personal fav is the side chick salad), but have tried loads from the All American pancakes, the plant burger, the Kentucky box, the salt & chilli fries (which are amazing btw). The servers are always lovely! It even got to a point where the waitress began to recognise my mum and me for being so regular!

Its niche is the body builder community, and this is reflected by the highly accurate menu regarding the nutritional values of the dishes: for each of them, the values of carbohydrates, proteins and fats were reported. There are also high-protein or low-carbohydrate foods suitable for those who follow a low-carb type of diet. I put four stars only because I find their marketing tactics rather incorrect, or at least not very moral: the place gave away a piece of cake in exchange for a review on Trip Advisor. La sua nicchia è la comunità di body builder, e questo viene rispecchiato dal menu accuratissimo per quanto riguarda i valori nutrizionali dei piatti: per ciascuno di essi, erano riportati i valori di carboidrati, proteine e grassi. The restaurant's tagline is "Eat without feeling guilty" and it serves justice! We ordered the honey glazed salmon with salad and it tasted amazing. The seasoning for the salmon is perfect and the salad was fresh as well. Every table is provided with lemon infused water and it's free of charge. This restaurant is a brilliant idea and there should be more places like this. I expected a health bar with a couple of tables, but mainly for take-out. However it was a beautifully floral decorated cafe with plenty of tables to sit at. The food was reasonably priced, especially for a health-orientated place where normally the prices are hiked up. There's options for healthy bowls or healthier spins on fast-food. It would be good if they did some dessert options too.

This place is a little hidden gem for all rather healthy foodies. I was seated quickly and my order was taken within a few mins. The fresh juice was spectacular and the “cure me know” shot was decently strong for someone like me, who’s quite used to ginger. The food came not too long after the drinks. I enjoyed the toast with eggs and added bacon and avo. However, the toast itself had a sweet taste to it, which was quite unpleasant, but after adding some salt it was ok. The protein pancakes tasted surprisingly good for having protein added in! Overall a good experience and nice staff 😊

This is a mixed bag. My daughter picked this for a family breakfast. It's a small place, modern looking, spacious enough. The staff were absolutely lovely, attentive and easy to chat to. However... If you look at the photo of the egg on sourdough, that's £7 right there. For one slice of bread and two poached eggs. The other photo was the Super Baked Granola Bowl. It was very tasty, but a bowl it ain't, more like a cup. Coming in at £6. My daughter had the PB pancakes which were £7.50. Food to plate ratio was better on that with 4 medium sized pancakes. We've been to Stack & Stills before, so not complaining about that. Tap water was provided for the table - but I'm sorry, Glasgow, your tap water is just awful 😶 That's true anywhere in Glasgow though. Anybody filter their water before serving? My daughter said she would come back, but probably with her friends, not her parents.

I had vegan pasta carbonara which is a real treat because I can't have dairy. Was delicious. Also had a lovely shake with it. Only thing I would suggest since you have paper straws which is great, maybe also serve the shakes in a glass when people are eating in instead of plastic cups.

Great place for people trying to keep on top of their diet. The menu tells you EXACTLY how many grams of carbohydrates, protein and fat is in each item. The menu also caters to dietary needs and has a lot of choice for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan. The food is absolutely delicious also, and looks devine. It's relatively cheap for what you get. It's a cosy place, I'd recommend it for anyone into health or the gym.

I've been coming here for a good few months now after finding out about it from a friend. I usually come with friends but my son loves a big bowl of banana porridge in the morning too. My go tos are the chicken noodles, bounty protein shake and apple cranberry pancakes. All of the yum and I don't feel like an idiot for turning up in my workout gear either. Staff always really friendly too and the added bonus of a loyalty card for lunch and shakes :)

Was really hoping for better after reading all the reviews. I orders the scrambled eggs with pancakes. I had no idea the pancakes would come out stacked with eggs on top and in between? Usually when you eat pancakes you would pour syrup on them...mine very dry pancakes came with a light drizzle around edges. Overall was very forgettable...our server was friendly and accommodating.

Every Friday morning after the gym, my flatmate and I have a Kcal Kitchen Friday morning ritual of protein pancakes and a latte. For about 6 months now, we've only missed a Friday at Christmas! I've had the same pancakes (bacon and egg) and Mikey's had the same pancakes (nutella and banana) every single week. Literally never gets old. It was also quality when they added an extra pancake to the serving, making it absolutely perfectly sized potions! The past three Sundays, we've taken our girlfriends out too as a foursome and I had the Guilt Free KFC Burger, which is absolutely mind blowing. The sauce is immense and the chicken was excellent. If you're going for pancakes, try and go any morning before 12pm as it's 'Breakfast Club' and it's £4 for any Protein Pancakes or Waffles, instead of £6, with free coffee refills. Favourite place in Glasgow by far!

Got the side chik goodness bowl and the peanut butter pancakes. The croutons quite soggy and the chicken dry. However, the pancakes were very tasty. I couldn't believe that they had only that many calories. Overall I like the concept of the restaurant and its decoration. Staff was very friendly as well.

Looked a bit tired and edge of menus were grubby. Prices on wall menu were different to laminated menu. Food was ok and prices were ok but juices etc were expensive and nothing special. Also provided in a disposable plastic cup. Vegan breakfast was a good size but tofu was way too salty and over-curried. Wilted spinach was barely wilted. Bread was sexy though and staff were polite and helpful.
