Fresh and Tasty on the go! Small takeaway but still this place stands out among the top names in the shopping centre. Simple menu, very quick and freshly prepared. Reasonably priced. This location is easy to access as well. I will go here again when I pass by next time also recommend to others.

Really good Greek street food. Can’t ever go wrong with a gyro. Decent choice on the menu, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Super busy as a very popular restaurant/kiosk. If you are round about the fort and want grab a reasonably quick bit to eat while you are on the go definitely stop by.

Read the reviews online and had to try it didn't disappoint. It smells exactly like your on holiday in Greece or Bulgaria. Really friendly people who take time to explain their food. Quite busy and worth the wait, the "Chicken Gyros" is a MUST TRY. If you haven't been on holiday and tried authentic Street food then this is the closest you could get. Really good food for the price one bite and it takes you back on holiday 😋

Great little takeway place serving Gyros, everything is cooked right in front of you. Friendly staff too, you can see it's family run 😀 I had the Halloumi Gyro which was really good - the bread wrap was perfectly soft and delicious, the chips were good and the grilled halloumi, garlic yogurt and salad were perfect. The price was decent, costing me under a fiver.

We had chicken gyros and shared a baklava. Very tasty, thin cut salted chicken meat is delicious. Baklava is high quality and amazing texture - tastes a lot stronger of cinnamon (and clove?) than others I've tried in Turkey etc.

I ordered via Uber Eats - the food was wrapped up really well and was hot when it arrived. The gyros wrap was delicious with decent portions of fillings. The halloumi fries were quite a small portion and a bit dry, but I put that down to it being delivered rather than eaten fresh on the premises. All in all, I’d definitely go back!

It was nice, but is room for improvements a lot, suppose to be more roasted, not to much but some, second a little more fat, but again here is a little bit difficult to find the natural fat, third I will say the spices which need to be used and the most of them, Oregon! How ever again it was not bad at all, I will try it again latter, in the ideea they are going to improve, I hope so! One more thing, I do not know if the are using there own recipe for marinate the meat or they are buying frozen from Greece, is again a small difference .

Best Gyros, I've tasted. Ingredients are fresh. The bread wrap is sublty crisp outside, and inside tastes soft and fresh. Meat is slightly salty and in small bits, making it easy to eat. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Went to the Kelvingrove food stand and since it was early the portion was as close to perfect as you'll get it. Went to the Fort food stand when it was busier and felt the portion wasn't as good. Food still good either way.

Great wee place for a quick bite. Haven’t had a gyro for years since actually being in Greece. Practically all I ate there. Happy to say being sat in the sun eating a MacTassos chicken gyro with all the works brought me right back there! Fantastic, friendly customer service and my food was ready in under two minutes. Highly recommend this place if you’re out and about shopping at the Fort. Just earned themselves a regular customer in me 🙌🏻

Excellent food. Good sized portions. Low prices. This is real food for less than you would spend at McDonald’s. As well it’s all fresh and natural ingredients. As you can tell I’m a fan.

My first Gyro and I promised I'd review it. Plus points - delicious, fresh salad elements, sharp onions, cool tzatziki and succulent pork. All really well seasoned and no skimping on filling. My only suggestion which isn't a criticism at all - why bother with the chips as the other elements are already a perfect combination already. It won't be my last. Helen x

i was out and about with my family looking for a place to grab a sandwich and wandering all over Glasgow fort, and stopped near frankie & benny's when a great smell invades my nose i turn around and all i wanted was behind me i read original Greek gyros. i just say it was so good and fantastic the food that finally now when i come to glasgow fort i know what to eat thanks guys, fantastic gyros i don't give advice about which is better chicken or pork but i just say try them both i'm fantastic thanks again
