Good experience and the food was delicious 😋 the excellent food and cleanliness of the restaurant outweighs the things to improve on HOWEVER - the server didn't show me where to get knives and forks 🍴and extra sauce bottles, so I had to get up and look for ages to find where they were (the station where they are wasn't signposted either, making it hard to find 👎). Another annoyance is how you can't order through a human anymore, you have to use a QR code. Which is alright if it works, but the one on my table didn't because it had been defaced, so I had to get up AGAIN and walk to an empty table to scan someone else's QR code. Then there's the annoyance of having to make an account and password taking 15 minutes before I even get to the menu when I could have had a human take my order in half that time. So good experience overall 😀 but Nandos ... can we order with real people again? Pretty please?

Waited 30 minutes for a table for 1, which I was ok with. I had already decided on what I wanted to eat, but the menu on the table didn't have the starter I wanted, and then I had to order on my phone, while seated in the restaurant. The app, didn't have one of the sides I wanted, that was on the table on the menu. When my food came, my drink, an extra side, and a couple bottles of sauce that I had ordered, didn't come out, so I had yo have the poor lad go back for them, twice, and then, he had to get me cutlery, since the self serve station was out. Chicken was a tad dry, but tasty. The "spicy" rice wasn't spicy, and it was warm. Best part, I had enough room for dessert........Next door.

Good location on retail park. Had to wait to get table as busy however this was no more than 20 minutes after completing details from QR code we were called in. Can order through QR Code or at till and food arrived very quickly. Good selection and service. well worth a visit

Excellent service and high standards quality as always in Nandos restaurants. Also beautiful river view in front of the restaurant. We went in a very busy day, and although they said that we might wait up to 45 minutes, we were called to our table in less than ten minutes!

Visited Nandos on Friday with a potential chance of walking out disappointed - based on the fact that they weren’t taking anymore orders- so I possibly wouldn’t have had my last nandos before Ramadan commenced. However, after expressing to staff member Noreen - that a friend and I travelled a distance for our final Nandos she came to our rescue. Straight away we were provided with a table without hesitation. She was absolutely top tier and made the experience for us one to remember. Not only that, the manager was also very friendly & kind. He made sure we were happy with our meal and got our full order. Very good experience in this nandos after ages!!!!!!

The food was great. I know Nandos are all supposed to be the same but the chicken here was really moist and tender so top marks. The slight downside was that it looked like it hadn't been hoovered properly that day. Sorry to grass up the staff there as they were very nice. But yeah, it did seem a tiny bit dirty.

Came here for an early lunch with some friends. As the restaurant had just opened for lunch it was empty and we had no trouble getting a table of our choice. There's four choices for vegetarians, so not bad for a burger place. I got the Beanie Burger, which was a burger made of cheese, chickpeas, sweetcorn, lentils, peas and pumpkin seeds. I have to say it was better than my previous experiences of veggie options at Nando's. The burger was firm enough to eat with the buns without the patty falling apart. The vegetables that made up the burger tasted fresh enough that I could actually taste the sweetcorn, cheese and pea. The burger came with a generous side of chips. Personally, I was satisfied with my order. My friends were meat eaters and got variations of chicken burgers, which sadly were not so well received. The burger literally looked like a slab of meat that had been cooked and place in a buns (a pitta bread in one case). The piece of chicken (and that's what it was), was simply too thick to be eaten like a burger. A couple of my friends ended up having to eat the chicken pieces using knife and fork. That is, not as part of the burger. Like other Nando's, there are free refills for certain like of drinks. I think mostly soft drinks like Coke etc. If you want cutlery, sauces etc, you have to go and get them yourself. Overall, the food was okay and not really that well made. The general decor of Nando's is the same as any other branch. The service levels are a bit above standard compared to other outlet and I thought the staff were friendly and helpful. I feel that there's nothing special about what your getting considering the prices paid here are for standardized burger fare.

Not the best experience in the world. The place was a bit filthy - toilets and tables. The staff were doing their best but my impression was that they were there under sufferance rather than truly being engaged with any aspect of the business. The food was bland, and clearly the way to liven it up was to smother on some form of piri piri sauce (not for me!). Not one I would go back to, sorry guys.

Always a wait here. Now it's a qr code to scan and put in to a virtual queue then are texted when your table is ready. Gained a star. Tables are all spaced out also and staff all wearing masks, and currently table service with an easy app to use to order..gained another star. BUT.. About 80% of the customers are not wearing masks and staff do not regulate. Seems to be the norm everywhere now, but not okay. Hence the mark down of 2 stars. I'm terminally ill with cancer, receiving treatment which lowers my immune system. Only reason we came out was to celebrate a scan result and left feeling disheartened. Thanks Nandos.

Been going here for years. Does what it says on the tin, solid nandos. Recently made a last minute order on the app on Christmas eve 2021, they didn't have one of the things we ordered so they very kindly supplemented us with 3 other free dishes and were super apologetic. Great service from the staff who were working last thing a Christmas eve!

Food wise, it's decent. You know what you're going to get in a Nando's. We asked for a table for 2; a third friend decided to join us at the last minute, telling us he'll be there soon. I've asked the waiter politely if they could move us to a table for 3 (this was 10 minutes in) and was refused. Despite half the restaurant being empty. I understand it's mildly inconvenient and they're probably operating with reduced staff, but that's slightly ridonculous. Also, the water dispenser needs some attention. The water looks like it was sourced from Chernobyl. Other than that, decent wee place. 3/5

I have witnessed five brawls here and someone got headbutted for nicking chips off their buddy’s plate. When I first approached the restaurant in the first thing I heard was a woman’s scream. The renovation is out of this world, it has never looked better and my goodness did it need it! Staff are friendly and always there to have a bit of chat! Unfortunately I was in on Father's Day (2017) and got a chicken burger that looked like a chicken nugget! Might have been a one off but it happened. Food is great as always - I ate the burger. I have to say, this was one of the main reasons for me to plan a second trip to the UK in a span of 6 months. One of the best meals period. The first time I visited Nando's was in London and have eaten there for 6 times after that in a 1 week visit. This visit won't be much different i guess considering I ate at the Glasgow location close to my hotel even before checking in. This place has a lot more space but it was still jam packed. What i tried: Hummus with peri-peri drizzle Butterflied chicken in extra hot sauce with a side of mashed potatoes and Garlic bread. Wife had the 4 boneless chicken thighs with chips (fries for the US audience) and spicy rice. Their sauces are the bomb and I always line up all of them so I can taste them. My favorites are the Extra extra hot(black small bottle) and the extra hot and the wife likes her Garlic and herb blend. You should put that sauce on everything and then have a bath with it as well. Cons: How can there be any? This place is the best.

Been coming here as far as I can remember, had many mixed good and bad experiences here, hated waiting on tables so when they started to take bookings it got better, but in recent years just before pandemic, the service fell short, food portions got smaller and restaurant was always dirty especially the toilets, staff didn’t seem to care much, but as this was the only halal Nando’s at the time it felt like they didn’t care as we would still come back to them, but there were a few gems within them, the male manager with glasses who used to be on shift each Friday night before pandemic though always provided a great service no matter how busy their were, I rarely come here anymore as there are other halal Nando’s options now available in Glasgow, but if I’m ever in the quay I tend to go to Manjaros now chapter iv for a quicker service and better portion size of chicken. Let me call out though during Ramadhan, this Nando’s really were supportive of fasting customers and the little touches like keeping the food foiled wrapped warm and putting dates on the table to break fast went a long way to cater for their Muslim customers, so thank you for that. I will visit again some time soon and if the experience is good I will update this review .

We have just returned from Nandos at Springfield Quay. Although the waiting time was quite long we decided to wait. We were not disappointed ! The service is excellent...the staff are very attentive and polite even under pressure. There were some impatient customers outside and I was very impressed with the way they were dealt with by Management. We had an embarrassing situation!!! and I have to say it could not have been dealt with any better by Mo and Moreno. Customer service at it's best ! The food was delicious (as always). I’m usually a regular to this Nando’s (pre covid) but hadn’t been for a good while. Called in to collect an order after the cinema last Friday (21st). The staff could not have been nicer! Even though it was near closing time for them they were all so friendly, happily chatting away to us and giving updates on our food as it was still cooking (we were a bit earlier than collection time). It was honestly such a nice end to our Friday evening purely because of how nice the staff were to us when we were only waiting to collect our food! I think this is the most lovely team this Nando’s has had in a long time! It’s not often I leave a place and keep thinking of how nice it was to be treated lovely by the staff. Special thanks to Stef the manager for making us feel very welcome (and for the wee desserts) & also Mark who packed and handed us our order with a smile! We will definitely be back to eat in soon. Wasn't too busy and the booking service where they text you when your tables ready was pretty good and swifter than it said. Lots of space between tables but staff could be more attentive, guess when they are bringing everyone's food and even refills etc to table its more difficult to keep up with the demand but still could be improved I'd say. The initial food came pretty pronto, refills took longer and the place was totally freezing aswell, I think its so you don't sit too long they can get you in and out and the next people in for service

Hi I visited today and my experience with your restaurant was outstanding. I was greeted By a very polite and well mannered man who explained clearly about the new rules due to the COVID 19 and seated us at table 9 .He had also mentioned that it was only his second shift working there to which amazed me as he was very competent. Good food but only ordered a takeaway but was told to sit outside and would be ready in fifteen minutes! A little annoyed as they have takeaway seats to sit on inside away from everyone, so did not know when my order would actually be ready! I asked the man on the door after ten minutes when will I know when my food would be ready so he went in and brought me my order, so it would probably have been cold if I'd waited 15 minutes. I think they have to reorganise the takeaway service to work properly.

Nando's chicken tastes great. There's no arguing with that but the emergence of covid has led to some misguided decision making at head office. Firstly, the massively reduced menu. No fino pita here (in spite of the fact that you can obtain all of the ingrediants in other dishes with the exception only of the lettuce). No hummus for starters? You can only choose nuts, olives or a paltry serving of halloumi. Of course, what is still available is good but the choices are very, very limited. The biggest issue is getting in and the experience of being there. Oh boy have they screwed this up. You have to scan a QR code at the door and then connect to the app which then puts you in a queue which then allows them to text you and then you have ten minutes to get to the entrace where they will let you in and then you are placed a socially distant table and then you must login in to the app to view the online menu and then you must pay via the app and then wait for intermittent visits from waiters who will deliver what you ordered. Wow. What a total pain in the backside. I totally understand the importance of safety and social distancing etc but this over engineered, clunky 100% smartphone reliant approach to organising a queue, your table and order is the opposite to the accessible walk in experience that it once was. The managers and staff do their best but is it worth all of hassle when you just book a table elsewhere? I'm still on the fence. Hopefully the developers of Nandos apps and web system will be replaced with something thats a bit more customer friendly because its a draining experience just to get your table. These are trying times for everyone and I used to love Nandos but I wont be rushing back to repeat the current experience.

This was my first ever visit to a Nando's branch. Staff are extremely professional, courteous and polite. Food was tasty although not a lot of it. Overall I would say it was a disappointing experience for the following reasons ; - I feel the way the venue ( and probably the chain) operates is designed to get customers in and out very quickly. Although i fully understand the need for efficiency, I just feel it was a rushed experience. My major dislike is the ordering process. To go into a restaurant ( and I use that term VERY loosely) and be allocated a table only to have to go up to the till and place our order myself was not what I was expecting. Then if you want a drink ( soft drink or bottled cider/beer only), you have to go back up and get It yourself. Then if you want dessert, back up to the till again. If that's what I wanted to do then I would have been better off with a buffet or McDonalds/Burger King. Overall, I left hungry and extremely disappointed and I do not have a clue what all the Nando's hype is about. We won't be back.

Chicken absolutely amazing. Two problems though. We ordered hot Chicken, but it tasted a lot like mild chicken. It should be hotter. The second problem is that the rice deserve a one star. Lovely place to eat. Restaurant is beautiful inside and out. I asked to be moved to a booth as the hard wooden chairs were very uncomfortable. Food and service was faultless as usual at any Nando's. Unfortunately when we left a couple of men were standing right at the door smoking so got a lung full of nasty smoke obviously not the restaurants fault that there's some inconsiderate people in the world.

Went to the cinema and needed some food afterwards. Myself and a couple of friends went for dinner at around 7pm and were almost put off by the amount of people and the wait time (initially quoted at 25 minutes). Pleasantly surprised when we only had to wait about 10 minutes and were seated and got out food within the next 15-20. The butterfly chicken is incredible, peri-salted chips and really good and the range of sauces was a nice touch. Reasonable prices, good food and the service was great too. Definitely a good meal when you're waiting for or coming out of the cinema.

The girl that served us at the table could not have been nicer - I didn't manage to see her name on her badge but she had a brown hair and pony tail. Too much staff doing chit chat rather than making sure the drinks machines are actually working especially when they charge almost 3 quid for bottomless drinks which a lot of people opt for. Took so long to bring the jumbo platter, the sides and the wrap that most of the food had gone cold.

This is a fantastic location, with the cinema nearby and a casino. Its beside the cyde and and with free parking to boot. Ideal for the family. The place is clean tidy and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. What more is there to say, uf you like nando's youll like coming here. The food is all made to a high standard at the prices youd expect. My only disappointment was the pudding, i ordered chocolate brownie and it was very small for the cost of it. The toilets were ok, but to be fair im not a fan of toilets in public places. So all in all ill not loose a star for the toilets as im harsh in regards to what id expect to be good.

Two particular members of staff seemed completely uninterested, one of them was serving our table, which was a shame. One of the diners at our table of four had to wait five minutes for their order to arrive with the rest of us not wishing to be rude, staring at ours getting cold. If you've been to Nandos you'll have noticed they leave a rooster 🐓 next to your table number, after the food has arrived they come round and ask if everything is ok and then remove the rooster. Ours was still on the table when we left along with all our plates which hadn't been taken away, even though we had been waiting 20 minutes for coffee and left without. If you can eat with just a knife, you'll be fine, forks and spoons are in short supply, maybe just bring your own cutlery. To be honest, we only really go here for the NHS discount, but that only applies to your first £20 spend so not even worth asking for really. Food was great!

Generally I can't fault Nando's however tonight I ordered takeaway from the the branch at Springfield Quay. Arrived 5 minutes before the stated collection time and informed them I was there. I was waiting 50 minutes before I had my order. This was only after chasing up the staff (who admittedly were rushed off their feet) 4 times and being told and all those occasions that they were "Just boxing it up" or "jus t getting the sides together". The while time I was stood at the kitchen watching nothing get boxed up and no sides appear except for to go out on plates to the sit in customers. Amends were attempted in the form of 2 complementary brownies which did little to take the sting out of the poor service. If not for the food being up to the usual high standard this review would have been so much worse. In short do not order takeaway you will be forgotten about and mislead as opposed to shortcomings being owned by the staff.
