The decor needs a bit of a freshen up, but nice and clean place. The staff are really attentive and the food is the usual chain restaurant menu, Sunday lunch was nice enough, but only serving a very small amount of beef and gravy let it down

Nipped in for lunch with my dad and husband on 12/06/22. Was initially seated under a speaker which was fairly loud and my elderly dad struggles to hear, so we asked if they could turn it down which they did with no issues. Lunch was served and our meals were nice enough, a few hiccups initially but our waitress/server Mo was the saving grace of the day and the reason we enjoyed our visit. She was courteous, bubbly, extremely friendly and very patient with my dad. Would’ve been 5 stars for Mo alone but unfortunately on this occasion the food was simply Ok hence the 4. I hope she’s being paid her worth as she is amazing at making every diner feel at ease and comfortable. Staff like that are worth their weight in gold.

Things have changed at Orions Way since our last visit. It did not look busy and there were lots of tables but we had to wait 20mins in the bar and then go back to the counter to get a table which we still had to wait on it being cleaned and set and then were sent back to orded at the bar???? The food was still very tasty as usual but we had to order and pay at the bar instead of usual table service. However when the waitress came to collect our dishes when we had finished eating, she asked if we wanted our bill??? Orions Way has always been somewhere for years, that we have visited knowing that it's excellent service and good no frills food at reasonable prices. However we weren't so sure about the service this time it wasn't necessarily poor service but just not as good as what we have experienced in the past.
