D. C.Havemt tried yet as Ordered at 6pm... told 'won't be long til it is with you'.... called back at 7pm... told 'it is one of the next to be made and sent'.... 1.5hrs ? Feel that is too long.
Updated to a 3.... food excellent....wait time poor for delivery
S. R.Local chippie, didn't realise that it's round the corner from my house and if you ask they fry your food in vegetable oil. Ordered a few times and never been disappointed.

When i have to actually go in to the shop, the staff are fantastic. Been using Peter's since i was a wee boy. (we used to pop in for ice cream on the way home from Rouken Glen). Best Chippy in the UK
I. T.Just moved to this area. After some furniture moving we wanted a quick meal. Fish and chips and fritters . Fresh, hot, tasty. Just the job. Happy to use again in the future.

G. W.Without a doubt the best chippie in the surrounding areas. Use it fairly regularly sand never had so much as a bad chip. Only downside is you can sometimes have a bit of a wait because it can be so busy.

S. R.This is a busy BUSY place! I’m always happy though. I’ve never had to wait too long for my order and they give you tons of chips with your supper. I also like having the option to have fritters instead of chips with your supper. Can’t comment on the fish but the battered king ribs, sausages and hamburgers are top notch!

J. C.Foods good and price is reasonable...counter service is the worst too many people asking you the same thing u end up repeating your order several times. If you order before hand via just eat for example its pointless as although you receive a text telling you your order is ready both times i have had to wait for them to make it anyway so may as well have just ordered directly.

S. W. F.Don't know what everyone is moaning about. This is the best chip shop ever, we come miles for their meals,its brilliant taste exact same as when I was a kid. That taste never leaves your buds&I have never tasted any other chip shops as good or even comes close. Tried all over uk,isle white to Inverness,Cornwall,etc&including ones with the so called award the best chippie in uk. Lots with awards, York was the latest one and believe me non, zero,zilch,come close to this taste. The portions are excellent, normal battererd sausage supper here is classed as large&2large sausage,in england.. Be looking at £8 in Southend.and tastes disgusting and small portions, our local chippy OK but not same, £220large chips, ain't even large and £130 per battered sausage, so stop moaning. And no fish and chip deliveries, we travel 4-5 hours and delib detour, to come here, this is always our first pit stop, before we go anywhere else. 5hours nearly travelling for best suppers ever. Kids love it,so do I. Staff always been friendly&helpful&even let my middle son try battered haggis , without charge. Excellent place. Please don't ever change recipes or close the doors or sell. Please, we will be up in week or two,been along year waiting, for another yummy very filling full on half portion never happens anywhere, can't wait to eat best ever suppers.😊 thank u. 30-40years been coming here and always taste same the best ever!!!!!

The chips are real chippy chips...lovely.

M. “. O. K.Busy little chip shop and rightly so. Decently cooked chips and the usual chippy offerings should keep you happy. From the amount of orders arriving via internet while I was in they’d need an army of drivers so bear that in mind if you’re hungry!
J. C.Food is generally not bad. They only have a terrible mess and for this order they are delayed and badly spent. I ordered a set to which they give 2l of the drink. I received 1.5l. I understand that this is not a big mistake, but the taste remains .....

A. S.The fish supper has two sizeable pieces of fish - make sure you're hungry! Or keep a piece for the next day.
Although they don't take cards in the shop, you can work around it by placing an online order and pay by card that way even if you place the order whilst in the shop.
