Always go here just as they open at 4 on Friday. Friendly welcoming owner. Food hot fresh and delicious. Portions are generous. Highly recommend. 👍🏻

Excellent Fish and Chips here, the fish tasted Amazing very fresh, the batter was crispy and delicious . I would say that is a proper fish and chips. Excellent service excellent food, friendly Staff Definitely worth a second visit 👍

Went off chippy for about 2 years, always had soggy fish with white gunk under the batter no matter where I tried. A one off I thought ill try here since I saw Stevie G tried it. Went 2 nights in a row for a fish supper, unbelievable fish, best fish I have ever had in my life, used to enjoy McMonagles boat years ago but this blows it out water. Fish wasn't soggy and batter is immense, non of that white soggy stuff like you get with chicken balls and fish batter. So good and now the only chippy ill eat out driving all way up from Clydebank.

New customer here and over joyed the quality of the food here is fantastic the delivery was very quick also I’m over the moon, now it’s wee bit pricier than the standard but don’t panic take a breath and remember ye get what u pay for in life, the Angel cut Japanese breaded battered haddock is absolutely scrumdiddleyumpshis( not used that word since a boy but appropriate) so I guess what I’m saying is highly recommend 😁 5⭐️

Food is very good, but they are quite stingey on the portion of chips included. Also quite expensive for fish and chips. We got a small tub of curry sauce and it cost £2.30!!

I know people say you get what you pay for . Just picked up my order and the portion of chips you get is really really poor , I did enjoy my chips but they could with splashing some more chips on.

Edited below: It's good but my god they are slow. They mess around with online orders while people wait in the queue. It's also expensive, about a third more than you would pay for equally good fish and chips in the east end. It is no doubt more expensive to do business out here but with a bit of efficiency they could really speed up the orders. Edit: the slowness was a Covid thing. I've been loads since my original review and it's been much quicker and more efficient, and they are the most consistently high quality of the local fish and chip shops. Good stuff.

I placed an order via uber and instantly thought I'd made a mistake with the reviews here but I have to be honest,I have no complaints really. Yes it's slightly more expensive than others but that's the case with lots of places and Yes,wait time on delivery was a bit longer but,if a chippy isn't busy on a Friday night It really can't be a good chippy can it? My order arrived bang on the time I was told it would and the girl who delivered it was very pleasant and bubbly. Happy household tonight guys,thank you.

Fantastic fish and chip shop, I had ordered my fish suppers from this traditional chip shop over the phone as I was travelling from Lenzie as our local one is shut on Mondays, anyway told them I will be there in 20 minutes, got there on time and my wonder the fish was crisp and chips were good, customer service, well satisfied. Thank you so much for the good food shame you don't make pizza in house as rafaels pizza's are just good for dog food

My local chippy with a great selection on the menu. Angel cut special fish is lovely. Not the cheapest by a long way but lovely fresh food. Only negative is chips are not always the best and quite small portions. Well worth a try though and still where I go when I want fish and chips for a treat

Usually not bad, but recently not impressed with fish- too dry. Also, if you are in a queue at shop you have no chance of being served for at least 20 minutes as they prioritise phone orders and home deliveries over the shop customer....such a bad business practice. I will take my custom elsewhere.

Had a carry out the other evening from here for the first time and it really was excellent! Fish and chips cooked to perfection. Management of Covid restrictions were well done, with queuing outside and being called in when time to order.

A great variety of food and lovely staff, chirpy even when the shop is ridiculously busy (which it often is). Not the cheapest chip shop in the world, but they all seem to be getting pricier these days! Chips are yummy, as are the sausages. That's all I normally get, so all I can vouch for.

Food was very nice, however the order was wrong and had to wait over 30 mins in a que to get the order. When we noticed it was wrong, we phoned and the shop didn't answer the calls we made on 3 occasions. Portion size is small too.

Really good gluten free but have to wait for more than half an hour when they're busy since they don't allow pre-ordering by phone for collection. Also if you can tolerate malt vinegar and want it with your gf dish, prepare to be interrogated

Excellent fish and chips, highly recommended but on the expensive side. I guess you can charge higher prices in Bearsden. The restaurant next door is the same business. If you order a pizza in the chip shop it is made in the restaurant. Presumably if you order fish and chips in the restaurant . . .
