After traveling all day from NYC, my son and I (musicians attending the classical guitar retreat in Millport, Scotland) were absolutely delighted with our experience at Round Island Cafe Bar! The food was divine, the vibe exquisite and both Tom and Cindy are such warm hearted, down to earth, and lovely people. A++

The owners and staff were really nice and the food was ready fast. The food was very good and there is a very big variety of dishes on the menu. It was such a nice cozy little place and it had free WiFi. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and there is usually very little people there so you have the whole place to yourself.

Food was lovely had a nice sandwich and my son had the kids meal with chicken strips and chips they were great, breast meat with a nice batter. The other big cafe was busy where this cafe had each booth with perspex screens and all the front windows opened up. Which was great due to the heat and the C-19, staff cleaned every table once people left. Would recommend 👍🏻

What a lovely surprise to find such a welcoming & friendly family-run restaurant. Everything perfect. Lovely ambience with the evening light from across the sea. Perfect menu with tasty fish, meat, pasta & veggie options plus toothsome desserts to share. Super selection of Scottish beers and hand chosen wines. We’ll be back!

Absolutely wonderful café!! Food is amazing, fresh fruit smoothies are original and taste incredible! Knowledgeable and very friendly staff, the chef came out to chat to people and made a completely separate sauce for my friend who has a food intolerance, discussing in detail what she would make for her! Extremely reasonably priced too! I will eat here every time I’m in Millport! Plus, with the Mediterranean decor, you might’ve mistaken it for the South of France! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED xx

Amazing place, very very friendly owner, great beers and not over priced. We did not eat here but yhe food looks great too. Very good choice, they state they shut at 6pm but thats not always the case, they sometimes close at 11pm so if your around in Millport call in for a drink.

Stopped in for coffee and cake to help fuel the last part of my second lap of the island. The coffee was strong and the chocolate fudge cake was amazing but the highlight was the friendly and polite service from the two young waiting staff.

We were a group of 17 including 2 Children under 3. I contacted the cafe in advance of our trip and they were happy to accomodate us and cater for our requirements. We also let them know most of our orders in advance which worked well. The food is fresh, tasty with exciting options. The service fantastic and the decor is stylish and clean, and the setting is beautiful right on the beach front with outside seating available. They also serve craft beer and gins including a local craft beer from our hometown which was exciting to see! I would highly reccomend this cafe and call ahead to reserve a table so as not to disappoint! We look forward to returning on another trip to the island :-)

Lovely wee cafe. Lovely food and they were so so friendly to my dog, even bringing fresh water and a treat to him. My - 1 star is because we spent over an hour there because the food took so very long. Didn't want to spend as long as that but as I say, the food was very nice.

The owners opened in the evening for my wife's birthday meal and we had a lovely meal in this attractive restaurant. The hosts were attentive and friendly and sourced a lovely birthday cake for the occasion. Highly recommended!

Lovely cafe, friendly staff but important point for me was that you can take your dog inside or outside tables while you are eating/ drinking !! Nice to have a dog friendly cafe. They also serve the most glorious ginger beer, well done !!
