I enjoyed this experience though not for the faint walleted. Car parking in streets around by buying tickets or in multi storeys. Food was freshly prepared and beautifully cooked. We had the simple classic burger with herby fries, and it was all very tasty. Ordered via the website and it all arrived very quickly, courtesy of friendly staff. My only gripe (and this is personal so does not take points off) is the constant flow of delivery drivers in and out, leaving the door open and making a lot of noise. Since Covid, this phenomenon has really become dominant in fast food restaurants and one feels at times that the owners need to decide what they are. Be warned this is not cheap - two burgers, fries and milkshakes = £40. Would I return? Probably not, a bit pricey for me given the fast food nature of the restaurant and the delivery driver focus rather than the customer. But I really did appreciate the quality of the food.

Quite excellent really. I think this is nicer than GBK or 5 Guys in my opinion. I had a vegetarian option. There are loads of Vegetarian options and loads of Vegan options too. This shows they are making an effort and actually care about their customers as a lot of places just do Vegan and Meat. During Covid you have the option to scan the QR code on the menu whilst seated, order and pay online so if seated outside you don't need to enter the store.

In the city center, Smashburger needs to work harder to beat other crafted burger shops. Ordered local smash stilton stack, bun is ok, sause is ok while patty is so dry, not as good as its ad says - how good they prepare the local beef and keep juicy after cooked

You know when you go to all the burger places and the burgers all taste the same? Yet another one that doesn't chargrill burgers for a flamed taste! Loads of filling in a burger but the taste? Hard to work out apart from a cheesy sweet taste. Thin burgers served here hence the word smashed and about a tenner for fries and a drink too. Great staff and very friendly, just I was expecting an American Wow! And I got an American... okay. Fries are fries and thin ones at that as the name suggests. Gluten Free buns here so great for GF followers. Choose a GF burger bun if not GF eater as the buns keep their shape better than the wheat buns!

Only recently found out there was a Smashburger in Scotland (turns out there are actually 2). I Had to try the classic smash to see if it was as good as the ones I've had in America. Spoiler alert - It was. Highly recommend, friendly staff, clean place. Only downside is that it's a little on the high price for a burger.

We often go to smashburger when we have the money! Their prices are high but the food is really delicious the only downfall i can say is that sometimes when i ask for no sauce they still give me it. However the staff are really nice and very welcoming! Food is always fast to get out!

Arrived Saturday lunchtime with a group of 6. The place looked pretty empty, with a few groups inside. We were initially told they couldn't take us for a sit in table because they were understaffed, no wait time offered. However another service member that was on break outside ended up clearing a table for us after they saw us chatting about where to go next to them outside the doors. Service staff were lovely, but chefs rolled their eyes when our group came in and we could hear them complaining about work the whole time we were there (sitting right next to the kitchen). So sadly, as much as we liked the service and food, the chef's loud and obvious attitude really put us all of and made us uncomfortable.

Firstly food was outstanding, really enjoyed it. The service was poor, all the staff hovering around exbo waiting for the next deliveroo or just eat to come in. The drivers got more interaction, you could here the chefs arguing and the the delivery rolling through the restaurant was a lovely mood killer. And watching the team/ crew shovel hos Greg's in hos mouth with out washing his hands was the tap out moment for me.

Tasty burgers in the vein of Bread Meats Bread, Five guys etc. Not overly pricey for the size and quality of food, and covid measures well executed. The beef patties are excellent juicy things and the accompanying buns and fillings are excellent. NB - the smash fries with rosemary are a little odd. Not bad, but the fries are nice enough, and the herbs and oil just makes them taste a bit overly greasy. They do regular fries, so get them instead.

Level 3 lockdown review. A simple burger chain. Orders done on the phone was easy enough. Food was alright for the price. Staff were friendly and food was served quickly. Bottles of drink were served without glasses and no napkins were provided. This may be a covid thing, but having something to wipe your hands is needed when there's no cutlery provided. I'd come back, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

I love this place! One of the best places to get a burger in town. Food is fresh and we have never had any problems or had any complaints. Free refills on your soft drinks from one of the new fancy machines (hundreds of flavours to pick from) and the staff are always polite and helpful. Food has always arrived warm and looking amazing. Girl took us to our table told about ordering with the qr code and card payment only then went back to chatting with the other servers. Nice place to have a burger with your friends or going solo. I like they have the student discount, but be careful it doesn't apply to all the meals they offer, big disappointment for me there. It was my first time here and I wasn't surprised burger tasted very average flavour, fries ok. However, I admit ingredients are very fresh, but not that tasty.

Visited on Friday lunchtime and was seated no bother. You have to go up and pay at the till. Food: Meh. I had the BBQ Bacon & Cheddar with Fries and a soft drink. It was ok but a but underwhelming looking. What I had issue with was the price. It was almost £15! Five Guys is that price range and I would much rather go there. Tastier burger and LOADS more chips. Doubt I will be back.

Went for lunch with my Grandson today. The young lady who took us to our seat was a credit. Especially as she had ti explain the procedure to me at length. Excellent food and refill drinks. Clean, efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Just came across it randomly when we were looking for somewhere to eat, absolutely loved it! Great burger joint on Sauchiehall Street. Prices are a bit high, but student discounts are available and the food is well worth the price. Filling and delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful and you always feel welcome. Highly recommended for burger lovers. Try the Baja burger, it's a belter!

Pleasantly surprised. Decor upstairs is definitely better than the ground floor, menu explanation rambles on too long but the burger with the haggis and fried egg was one of the best burgers I have tasted. Hoping they keep this on the menu

Food is great, but they will try to make you pay xtra if you have dietary restrictions. +50 pence for a Gluten Free bun. 5.50 for a regular burger vs. 6.95 for a Veggie Burger with a mushroom as meat. Eventually after pointing this out I did get the cost of my burger down when I pointed out that she was going to charge me for bacon I wasn’t going to eat.

My boyfriend and I spotted the place while having a walk on Sauchiehall St today, and as we were starving decided to give it a try. We were warmly welcomed by the manager, and were offered a table. Once we ordered (two burgers, a side and a drink), the food came in no time. The burgers were extremely fresh and delicious, given the relatively low price. If you are hungry, want to eat something healthy and don't plan on spending too much, I would definitely recommend Smash.

Food was great however the service not so much. Ordering is over complicated we order what we want and get added confusion when asked all the different options sizes and extras as we already specified what we required. The coke freestyle machine only had 2 types of drink iut of 6 options which was shocking as the drink as advertised as hundreds of options. Finally not being able to to replace your fries for a different side and pay a difference is a shame ad you can do this in the american franchises. So you end up paying more for what your actually wanting... they used to allow this. The burgers where good as where the sides ( all though 1 side came out cold which was replaced quickly) but the overall experience to get the food left us annoyed and deflated and left a bad first impression on my partners parents who we had brought to smash burger for the first time( however they did like the food)

Some good processes set up to be socially distanced. If you haven't tried a smashed burger I suggest you do so, they're so crispy yet still juicy. A truly lovely burger.

I get the feeling, my experience may be a unique one-off, but unfortunately I like to share my experiences, and this one wasn't great. I hate leaving sucky reviews. #sadface So, the photo shows s pretty quiet joint right, not too busy. My server was nice and friendly, she took me through the menu and asked if I had any special dietary requirements... all good. I order my shake and classic tripple burger and sit myself down. Nothing happens for 20/25 minutes, I'm thinking "this is taking it's time, its an empty burger joint, should I ask if everything ok"? Behind me, a table of 3 receive 2 of their 3 burgers... "oh ok, there is life, it's just taking it's time". I notice that time is still passing and I or the third guest on the table behind me still haven't received our food? Another 5 minutes, and the missing burgers arrive... that other table though, 5 minutes with only half the table having received their food is a long time. Did I mention im in a burger joint, this should be pretty snappy? Ok, so a quiet burger joint, my burger takes 30 minutes to arrive, the table behind me received their order in two halves... At this point (30 minutes after ordering, and after receiving my burger) i asked the server for my shake, oops, they'd forgotten it... ok, ok, they were clearly short staffed and it would be mean of me not to mention that now. Also slow stream of customers were starting to come through the doors drawing the servers attention. They were very apologetic and the shake was really good... but it was still "thing"... So... my burger, fresh from the hot plate right? I first notice my potentially yummy brioch bun is almost fridge cold... but toasted, has this been pre-toasted?... fine what Evz. "Ah great", none of the salad and pickles have been drained, my lower bun is soggy and now stuck to the paper, this makes for a difficult picky-upy-eaty situation. fyi I'm getting bored of bitching now, I hate -ve reviews... The burger it's self was on the cold side of luke warm... and by the size of the pates, can guarantee it would only of taken 6-8 minutes to cook these guys well-done. Annoyingly the meat was really good quality and really well seasoned, the content of the burger was good too, but here's the thing... with one thing after another falling just below par, you kinda think to yourself, "I shoulda just given my 11 bucks to B.M.B, BRGR or 5 guys" then I could've just written another happy review. Nothing was particularly awful, it's just everything was just slightly below par (except for the staff, they were lovely) Am I being harsh, maybe expecting too much and I'm just being a dick? I genuinely don't think so, It's not my fault other burger places raised the bar so high and pushed my expectations to the level they're at. Given that Glasgow is absolutely bursting with excellent indpendent burger restaurants, you can definitely afford to miss the homogenised, boring chain offerings. While Smashburger certainly isn't the worst of these (its service is fast and friendly, and the food is decent to good), the price point is far beyond what you would expect for a fast food restaurant. Save your cash and spend it at Bread Meats Bread.

Had a double tagais stack recently. First of all, if you're going to try and get all cute by using Gaelic, it's taigeis... Burger itself was merely ok. Patty was nice, brioche bun was a bit stale, egg a bit rubbery. For £11, you could have much better in Glasgow. Bit strange that you have to wait to be seated, but still order at the counter. Restaurant was quite cold as well. Distinctly average.

Went here for the first time today and I must say I love this place!
