I don't normally write reviews but this wee gem deserves it. Fresh colourful vibrant food that was amazing. Staff excellent. I kept passing it and thought I would give it a try. Now my new go to India restaurant.

The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. The owner was very knowledgeable about vegan food and explained everything to my vegan friend. The staff are very friendly, Ben was very attentive. Great night and will definitely be back.

Excellent, they immediately apologised that there would be a 10 minute delay because tbey had run out of the mixed tandoori grill and would have to make a new batch from scratch, when my order came out they had included a full complimentary portion of chicken pakoras with 2 sauces and poppadoms and spiced onions as a way of apology for a 10 minute delay, wow different class and the food was exceptional, well done Swagath.

Just had the perfect Indian meal. Lovely atmosphere, friendly, attentive but not pushy staff. Great prices & delicious food. This is a wee gem of a place. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Very friendly helpful staff. Owners are very good and smiley. They have opened recently but their quality of food is superb. Especially kebab platters. Food is always prepared on time for collection with well social distancing. Best part is free spiced onions and poppadams, may be being regular is this advantage. Highly recommended place for ordering.

Really delicious food in a friendly, happy restaurant. Beautifully spiced meals that are about authentic flavour, aren't dyed silly colours and are just the right portion size. Always cooked to perfection, too. Given how good the food is you'd expect it to be very expensive but, again they've got it spot on. Well worth the prices and excellent value. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the country, never mind just Barrhead.

I cannot recommend this place enough, the food is so, so tasty. The portions are huge for the money, excellent value. We have only ever collected food for takeaway because of the restrictions but the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I have tried the chicken bhuna and the masala and both were extremely tasty, not too spicy and instead are full of flavour. My favourite things are the chicken pakora and the garlic naan- I've never had such soft, fresh naan from a takeaway before. I recently had a mix up with a transaction which required a refund. I called the restaurant about this and the manager couldn't have been nicer, was so accommodating and the matter was resolved so quickly with no hesitation, customer service is great. Would highly recommend this restaurant - I can't wait to sit in for a meal once the restrictions are lifted!

We recently discovered Swagath and have eaten there multiple times and recently got a takeaway due to closure restrictions. Each and every time the food has been absolutely amazing. Regardless of what we order it's continually consistent. Without a doubt the best Indian food we've tasted in a long time. There's now no other place to go than Swagath. Great, friendly, family run place where there is always a warm welcome.

New(ish) Indian restaurant and carry out in Barrhead. This is my first time trying it and my husbands 2nd time. Very welcoming, staff are lovely and a warm, fresh, relaxing atmosphere. I had kedai paneer, pieces of paneer in a thick, warming sauce with green pepper, tomatoes, coriander and onions. my hubby had lamb tikka and daughter had chicken korma. The food is absolutely delicious, healthy sized portions, free poppadoms and spiced onions, and prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back, and if you enjoy a good curry, you won't be disappointed with Swagath.
