Egg royale very tasty and filling. Chicken liver pate was good too. And my picky daughter had the chicken goujons, freshly made with chicken breast.

Lovely staff, lovely place, fish and chips were very nice however the Sunday roast was a bit of a let down. The beef was very chewy I couldn't finish it and the potatoes were extremely dry both the roast and the mash tho the veg and grant was very tasty and the yorkie was fine. At 13.95 I expected much better. I didn't complain about it as I normally would have due to being out with a person I support and theirs was lovely and didn't need to have any commotion that might upset him.

Exc bar/ rest. Staff v informative & extremely pleasant. Sorry but forgotten her name-the Polish girl who served me lentil soup couple of weeks ago. Only issue is- the manager maybe smile occasionally, removing the feeling from some clients that he wld prefer customers not 2 b there. Am sure he's v pleasant.

Can't praise meals and service highly enough. Our group had dishes from all parts of menu, steak, fish, pizza and pasta. All were excellent. Kids meals presented as small adult versions. Manager & serving staff (Jamie in particular) absolutely brilliant.

Always have a fantastic time here! The food and drink is lovely and has a good atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate. On a couple of occasions we have been walk-in's and have been shuffled a table but if you want to sit in the front bar it's best to book.

Very well ran pub, staff very friendly and very attentive with the table service we have at this time. Went for couple drinks and on seeing the lovely looking food going by us to other tables we decided to order just starters as we were going for dinner later. Was going to opt for haddock and chips(tapas style) but unfortunately went for chicken wings the most bland and black chicken wings I have ever had. As said earlier food going by looked fantastic so don't be put off by my comments but DON'T pick chicken wings for your starter you have been warned.

Situated on a busy road with no on street parking but nearby car park is just a few minutes walk. The restaurant is deceptively large inside and provides good spacing between tables. A very good choice of menu and the quality of food is excellent. The standard of service is also efficient and friendly. Overall a very worthwhile venue.

Excellent meal and very reasonably priced too. Comfortable and pleasant booth-type seating for the restaurant customers. Staff were lovely and very helpful in making choices in food and drinks. There is a good gluten free menu with plenty of choice from a snack e.g. nachos, to a full meal. Prices are reasonable, service is prompt and helpful, and the food is tasty. There is a disabled toilet at ground-floor level. Well worth a visit. Park at Morrison's across the road.

Popped in for lunch qat time here the menu is great offering tapas full menu with the option of small portion I had the battered fish it was huge my daughter had the tapas selection which are generous portions. The staff couldn't have been nicer, quick and efficient I would highly recommend well worth 5*****

Was on a day trip from Aberdeen to visit a relative. Wanted to eat before the drive home and found this place. Both my husband and I had a burger. I had the Balmoral and hubby had the avenue burger. Both our plates were empty. Food was delicious. Also the best tasting rose wine I've tasted in a long time. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
