This is a small restaurant but I can only say that the food is fresh and delicious. The first time I went this was a vegetable stew which I had with couscous and came with a lovely salad and chicken on top. The second time I had a delicious lamb shank with couscous and salad. The lamb was cooked in its own juices with delicious herbs....Loved it....

The best Gluten Free , Vega friendly, veggie loving, allergy aware eastern Mediterranean restaurant in the Wild Wild Wild West End .... come here to get away from take away nonsense, pseudo-authentic ethnic food and Marks and Spencer ready meals. I had the pleasure of dining in this lovely restaurant this evening.. my food was delicious. l would recommend to anybody wanting to try somewhere different to eat. I will certainly be back and recommend to friends and family. The lovely waitress was an asset to the establishment also.

Dropped in with a mate for breakfast on Saturday morning as we usually do when I'm visiting from London. I must say I love this place and the food is amazing as always and prepared with dedication and care. The staff are always great and the manager always takes time to say hi and are really welcoming. Everybody only has good things to say about The Bay Tree and this is well deserved. Great job guys 👍

The menu is all embracing, veggie, vegan and meat. Premises were excellent. Service wonderful. Bring your own booze was brilliant. £10 for a nice bottle of wine instead of £16 for a bottle of rubbish house wine. Just a shame they closed at 9pm. I felt a little bit rushed even though we got there at 19:30. However, I would definitely go again but book a table for 7 o'clock. Lovely place. 👍👍

Nice little eatery/restaurant, which has been around for some time, serving a range of dishes from some of the Mediterranean countries (more from Turkish/Greek/North African side), all accompanied by pleasant service! Think you can bring your own bottle too. Serves lovely latte☕️& few nice tea options! 🫖

My wife and I had a lovely brunch a week ago. She had the Turkish omelette, I was jealous, but my vegetarian breakfast is the best I have had. Everything cooked from fresh, no oil on plate, a real treat. Finished off with a Turkish coffee.

The food was amazing, the menu extensive and the prices were very reasonable. The service was a bit laid back and it took an hour to get our food. Nice atmosphere. I'd definitely try again and hope the lackluster service was a fluke.

Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. If I had to nitpick I think the food service was a wee bit slow considering they weren't busy and we would've liked a few more flatbreads with the mezze platter. Will definitely be back though.

Absolutely brilliant food and service, a little gem not to be overlooked. Be aware that it's BYOB, we were disappointed we could not get a wine or beer and that stopped us going 5 stars. Maybe something to make more prominent on social nedia and Web site. However don't let this put you off!

The wee turkish coffee is what i go in for, plus the veg Arabian Korma Sabzy, and the gluten free veg ; Aromatic Arabian Aubergine Bake. And the fresh Lebanese Minto drink is a winner. Thanks for being a great part of Glasgow.

Although there were some hiccups in throughout the duration of the visit, these could easily be explained by the fact that the reservation was originally made for 8 people and at the last minute it was changed to 11 people. The food was top quality and the waitress did a good job serving a table of that size on a busy night. The service was quick and management was very accommodating of such a large group. My only suggestion would be to have a system in place to make it possible to separate the bill at the end of the meal but otherwise the experience was a positive one.

Lovely food and friendly staff, I had the BBQ chicken skewer with saffron rice - very tasty and is served with a side salad, my friends had the 'breakfast for dinner' which is basically something off the breakfast menu which they serve all day. The Turkish lemon tea was a nice accompanying drink to my meal and the chocolate and vanilla milkshakes were great. Great wee place to have a good meal and catch up with your friends.

Good food, great staff, good decor. All round everything is good. The main drawback, unfortunately was that the shop was marked as halal when unfortunately there were items on the menu such as ham and sausages which were not halal. This was not indicated on the menu, but only when I myself asked the staff to confirm if it was turkey ham used or not. This would not normally be an issue, however it is important to remove the halal sticker on shop windows and on menus so as not to confuse anybody about the status of this place.

Popped in out of the rain today for a coffee. It was the best coffee I have had for a long time. The other half had a waffle with Ice cream.... fantastic. I have been here Three times now and I have greatly enjoyed myself each time. The decor is simply lovely as it lightly belnds modern quantity into Mediterranean asthetic. By this I mean that the front half of the interior has a post modern looking asymmetrical sandstone brick wall on the left and you are flanked on each side by metal beams with an additional wooden beam on your right which has rope in the centre, it looks cool, I like it a lot. Then front of house station (or I suppose you could call it the shop) is made entirely of wood, which is clearly very well made and sturdy, it's dark wood but it's also light. Hard to explain as I am not that eloquent with my words these days, anyway above the counter, Inside the shelves are all sorts of lovely Middle Eastern trinkets which I really like to look at due to their extravegant designs. Also for all you coffee lovers out there there they have a ELEKTRA Barmium coffee machine, I don't know is much about this kind of thing but the Mocha I had was without a doubt the best I had ever had. Let's talk about the food, well the food is fantastic, it's all very fresh and obviously high quality produce, which can make or break a good menu. They offer a veriaty of Middle Eastern cusines which I am very excited to make my way through. The serve breakfast, mains, starters, desserts and sides. Being honest I have yet to try most things on the menu but I will say that their kebabs are simply amazing. Today I had an Arabian Breakfast and my mate had a Lebanese Kibbeh. Both dishes were excellent. I also had some veggie pakora, which just so you know, was also excellent, this might seem easy to achieve but it's really easy to do badly apprebtkap so I was very happy with the quality!

I thought would give Kelvinbridge another try after a disappointing trip to chrubini, another cafe . . happily surprised this time, warm, welcoming cosy place, informal and relaxed . . lots of lovely veggie food couscous, hummus, falafel and a host of turkish treats ! . . what a delight, the wide tea selection is a mixture of western and middle eastern to replace the booze which is unusual for here, a lovely cafe in kelvinbridge !
