What a super find. Great selection of drinks inc plenty of Gins. Small but super menu selection (think Gordon R has been around). Shout out to Abbie running one tight ship! And to Kiran a top barman who is also a new Dad. Make sure to ‘put one behind’ to congratulate him. Gutted I missed the Englishman young Joe! He’s another one of the crew. Top bar. And top chefs. Ps photos were at 11pm on a Wednesday night. Place was busy as earlier.

Have passed this place often and heard about it, so finally went today. Lovely inside with a rustic dining area. Lovely log fire which we got to sit in front of, very cozy. Waitress was so attentive and the food was very tastey. My gravalax salmon with bread was a must and my penne aribiatta was perfect. My friends fish and chips is what I'm going to order next time. My fave sticky toffee pud was on the menu but sadly too full to attempt pudding. Coffees to finish. This place is a must to visit and right in the heart of Maryhill. I shall be returning. Very disabled friendly.

adorable wee place, I love all the fairy lights and the whole atmosphere is cosy and comfortable. Food was really good, but the cocktails were the best part for me personally haha, defo try the strawberry daquiri! really good service, we got our food and drinks super fast and the staff were really helpful as well!

Great, trendy hip and relaxed modern European restaurant. Service was friendly and unfussy and food was really good. Really unexpected for the area but worth a visit. Nice for a few pints after work as well. Bit on the pricey side but worthwhile as standards are high

The Strathmore is a classic pub that recently had a modern makeover. It has a large open pub space with tables and couches and also a separate back dining area. The food is pub grub with a bit of upscale touch (maybe a bit too pricey). It has a decent draft list and cocktail menu with a large list of gins. Although, the beer taps have a bit too much macro lager and not enough interesting craft beer for my taste. It has a small outdoor patio with nice views over a large yard. Sunday lunch was tasty, although the roast was a bit overcooked and somewhat under seasoned. Overall, a solid local addition.

Delighted to finally make it back to The Botany post covid. Still one of our favourites. Love the glass conservatory overlooking the garden and the decor! The meal was delicious. Everything we had to eat was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Chef, Jim Kerr is a real professional! Servers, Rose and Abby were very pleasant and helpful. The Itison lunch deal was an unexpected but much appreciated bonus. Fantastic value with no compromise on quality. Looking forward to a return visit next week! Highly recommend this unbeatable gem!

Had a lovely 3 course lunch & Daiquiri using an Itison Voucher given as a Christmas present. It was my first time visiting but won't be my last. Lovely decor, attentive and very friendly staff and most of all lovely food. Well presented & served on hot plates which is a must. Only 1 very small thing, the chicken & black pudding potatoes was lovely but would have been much better if a nice veg had accompanied it as another texture and flavour. The meal was well worth the money and will definitely visit again

Staff were absolutely amazing! From the second I walked through the door myself and my Pomeranian were totally looked after! The chef would even come out to make sure everything was good! He even made up some plain chicken especially for my pomeranian. The waitress That Served us was very attentive. She was very polite and make sure everything was perfect. This is a five minute walk from the North Kelvin apartments where I stay still I have no excuse not to visit regularly. It is even a bonus I can bring my bratty dog. 🥳😊☀️ add can I just add the food was delicious and there was a lot of Pride shining thru in the presentation and quality of cooking!

A gem of a pub and eatery in the north of Glasgow's west end. The place is stylish and comfortable, well able to accommodate anything from couples to groups. The menu is back to its pre-covid glory with the chicken liver parfait and confit duck being dishes we return for again and again! Its local, delicious and beautifully presented. The desert menu is particularly delightful for its variety of flavour. The serving staff have never been anything but friendly and professional- but always ready for a bit of banter and a laugh. It's an all time favourite place for us to get together with friends and family and one that we are so happy to see open and running again.

It means a lot to find a local that takes Gluten free Intolerance seriously and provides a decent menu which on our first try was great! The do need more choice of GF beers though!! Watched the Scotland England game in the bar after another pub let us down. The staff were very friendly and attentive and made it as relaxing as possible despite the covid restrictions. What a fab place. Lovely large glass windows makes the resterant very light and airy. I had the salmon teriyaki with sticky rice then maple cheesecake. Food was delish. Great service from the waiter and waitress. I've been before and I'll definitely be going back again soon :D

We were there on a Saturday night with our friends from out of town. We hadn't booked and it was all very last minute so we were delighted that they had a table available. The place is lovely, the restaurant was quite busy and with great atmosphere. The menu is varied, with good selection of vegetarian options and all at reasonable prices.The food itself wasn't nothing extraordinary but perfectly nice and it arrived quickly. Staff were lovely and friendly. The bar is great too, with a nice selection of drams if you fancy a night cap before going home! A very nice night was had by all. The only thing is the location, which is a bit in the middle of nowhere and in a neighbourhood with a bit of reputation. But, you can easily get a taxi there and back.

A fantastic little hidden gem right on Maryhill road. With beautiful building features, cosy chill out areas, live music and cheap cocktails it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. I visited as the last stop on a sunny evening strolling a busy byres road, feeling almost deflated that nowhere had the capacity to hold us we tried the Strathmore. With awesome cocktails a fraction of the price we’d been paying plus in a more comfy and enjoyable environment we finished the day well. Food menu looks intriguing, will be returning to try that at some point!

I mostly go for the food and I love it! The service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere in the evening is nice. I just would avoid the music live sessions as the speaker volume is often loud so it is hard to have a conversation with a table mate.

I live nearby and on seeing The Strathmore from the street, there is more to it than you think. I would encourage you to give it a try. The food is excellent, the drinks range is well thought out, and the atmosphere is spot on, especially when the sun goes down. I would definitely recommend this place either for a quick pint or either lunch/dinner.

Excellent salmon main course followed by a disappointing STP (sticky toffee pudding). The sponge was uninteresting and dry - not sure if bought in or made on the premises - suspect the former. A good STP has an abundance of dates in the mixture which gives it that lovely sticky gooey texture that we look for and enjoy. The accompanying crunchy ice cream is a poor choice - far too sweet and overpowers the STP. A good simple vanilla ice cream would raise the dish to a level of sophistication which in its present form is lacking. Having said all that, we will be back. A good local eatery which for us is within walking distance.

Fast becoming a favourite of mine, with the 'Kelbourne Saint' (old Crosslands) now open as a restaurant there is even more reason to go to the Stathie. It mixes pub and food well - I think Crosslands might just have bit to much off with the focus on chicken. Also great seating, log burner and extension with fill length sliding doors. If they could cut the trees down it woo ld be a summer day sun trap.
