Reviews of The BrewHaus - Beer Garden & Kitchen
S. C.
Just fantastic! Travelled up from Shropshire for a wedding and was recommended this by a family member and it was brilliant. We arrived just after half 8 when the kitchen closed and Mike kept the kitchen open to feed us. The food was amazing I had a double burger that was more than enough for a weary traveler and the atmosphere and banter from Mike and the team are second to none! 1st rate hospitality and would recommend coming here to anyone.

Nice pub on Queen Margaret Drive, we sat outside in one of the sheds. Dog friendly, so Charlie was there. Drinks reasonable, food was good, but nothing outstanding. Good though. Staff very friendly and helpful. Water provided for Charlie which was good. Only one downside, the shed has a heater which you need to press on every 5 mins or so. Bit of a pain, apart from that a very nice, friendly and welcoming pub

Was never really a fan of the seating/table layout in all the pub's previous incarnations over the years, but it's much better since it became Brewhaus. The beer garden is also excellent, especially the heated 'sheds'. Good beer tap selection as well (at the time of writing they have Goose Island, Disco Forklift Truck and Spaten amongst others).

Been here under multiple names and owners and they've done great this time round. Got rid of all the taxidermy from what I saw which is great, the out door huts have been redone and are loads nicer. Miss the rouge wan pizza, they were baller and im sad they're gone, food menu is alright, not as fun as before but it's always tasty.

The staff were amazing really friendly and Smiling which you could feel even though behind the masks!!! And an amazing beer garden definitely one of the best ones in Glasgow!!

tasty and well priced food, lovely social area

Great value pub food. Pizzas are excellent and staff are cheery and helpful. I keep going back!

The best place. Love the sheds. Amazing food, lovely staff, great new management.

We were only here briefly, but it was really nice to see this place has been revitalised. The Crosslands which was was here before was a proper dive, they’ve really made it nice after doing it up. The beer garden round the back looked lovely but we stayed inside because it was raining .

Omg! This place was so lovely and modern. The staff were mega friendly and recommended foodstuffs for the kids (as portion sizes were mammoth and we ended up getting a "doggy bag" for the pizza!). We also had a baby in a pram & was easily accessible to manoeuvre around. We also enjoyed the artwork of the infamous movie filmed there. Will certainly return.

Went looking for this wee pub due to trainspotting connection. Was quiet when we visited greeted by friendly staff and nice atmosphere and music inside. Had a couple of games of pool and a few drinks.. the out door area is nice with heated drink sheds gives a little privacy or comfort if you worry about covid.
Would have given 5 stars but for a beer house there was not a great selection of beer on tap and only a couple of cocktails on offer would like to see more options. Definitely worth a visit and liked all the little reminders of trainspotting and photo opportunities

Good wee pub with a great selection of beers.

I love this place very welcoming with dogs. Good atmosphere, nearby, great drinks. Food is only okay (not bad) but for the price you can't complain.

I recently came here in a group and had such a nice time 😊 The Staff were very friendly and patient. The atmosphere was nice inside outside in the beer garden and the interior is really cool and cosy. The service was great and I wanted to leave a nice tip at the end, except it was too late. I will definitely be back for that tip as it was well deserved 🤓 The food was nice too ! Hats off to the staff for their patience, especially with the loud and rowdy customers I imagine they've been having since it reopened. I won't complain about the wait being served at the table outside as it's obvious that it takes time to do table service during a busy day . Besides, it didn't seem long at all to me. You've been doing a great job, keep it up ! 👍👍👍

I love this pub, but the staff aren’t overly friendly. I’ve been several times with different friends and they’ve all made the same comments - good pub, good drink options, decent food but rude, unwelcoming staff. Bit if a let down.

Loved our time here (09/05/2021) - extremely friendly and bubbly staff! Service was a bit slow but given how busy the beer garden is this is more than forgivable. Really nice decorations around and awesome link to Trainspotting! Average pint price £4
J. K.
Very limited menu at the moment and yet options that are available on the kids menu aren't available on the adults, even though they're exactly the same. Basic food, tastes fairly decent. Nice beer garden.
Edit: in reply to the owners response. Not misinformed at all. A lot of the adults menu was crossed out by pen, including the breaded mushrooms which is my go-to. However they weren't crossed out on the kids section which confused me (as you're right, it is the same food). I asked the waitress who asked the kitchen who said yes they have it and it'll be okay. So I had two lots of breaded mushrooms with fries ordered from the kids menu. I do plan to come back too, nachos are my likely next target :)
P. N.
Nice pub it was in the film trainspotting. Great staff and a decent pint.

We have now had food and / or just drinks in here several times as walking distance from us - always been very vigilant with track & trace since it was introduced 👏

Popped in tonight to do a bit of studying.
Considering the context of what situation we are in as a nation, I can only commend the service. I arrived at 18:00 and was greeted enthusiastically by the hostess, and I have to apologise for not catching her name. I informed her I don't drink and that I'm happy to sit inside, this was not an issue whatsoever, I was seated and allowed to settle.
You could tell straight away that the establishment was incredibly busy, as the staff had not a second to themselves the entirety of the time I was there, 18:00 until about 19:50. But, that did not mean that I was left unattended, an appropriate amount of time passed until I was approached given the nature of evening. The server seemed initially shocked that all I was after was a cup of tea, utterly forgivable considering this is Glasgow. Got my tea and there was again no issue, and the server was happy to engage in idle chit chat whilst I paid for my tea. And after that she was promptly off to deal with the rest of the attendees.
Got to studying and stopped around 19:15 to take a break, and watched the service. I watched as the hostess, unfailing in her level of politeness considering the way in which she was being treated by the walk ins, kept the comings and goings smooth. I watched as the three bar staff kept on top of a fast flying list of drink orders, and the four floor staff whisked them away to the beer garden. I watched an incredibly professional service keep on top of increasingly complex sets of orders. In fact I was so intrigued by the process I ended up watching for around 30 minutes!
Within this carefully managed chaos, the owner of the establishment came to me and ensured I wasn't ignored, what he didn't know was that I was asked twice during my observation if I wanted anything else. So at no point did I feel that the indoors was left behind. We managed to have a small conversation until he returned to take part in the service.
I was more than happy with my experience.

We came as a family of 6 and our dog. I just want to say a big thank you as this was an achievement for me today as I've been sheilding for a year and 4 months, we were made to feel welcome from start to finish. The measures in place were 100% and the food was amazing. The hut was an experience and would defo want to come again. Our dog even got pampered with plenty treats/water. Thank you to all the staff.
S. T.
Very tasty food and reasonable price. Fantastic Beer Garden
M. D.
Nice enough pub, Guinness was decent but table service wasn't the best and had to catch a servers eye by shouting them whenever we needed another round which took up to 15 minutes to arrive. Bar was covered in used glasses from early evening and right till chucking out time so obviously understaffed.
G. M.
Good selection of beers and food, great staff with pleasant surroundings
C. A.
A homely place with two levels, together with a pay per game pool table and darts.
Drinks are affordable and the sitting is comfortable, definitely would recommend this place for an evening hangout!
R. B.
Great garden with sheds, slightly average beer selection for a “brewhaus” beer bar and the food was poor. Bar staff also a little less friendly, but guess it’s difficult with masks and corona stresses. This place was better as the Kelbourne Saint with superb Sunday Roasts and rotisserie chickens. We used to come here for the food as it was one of the best Sunday lunches in Glasgow. Would never eat here again though. Terrible Burgers now.
C. N.
Great outdoor seating area but closes at 10, really nice darts and pool table area also upstairs, would recommend going, clean bathrooms
E. M.
This was our first pub experience since Lockdown and we went with our rescue lurcher (also his first pub experience), and we were made to feel so comfortable. The ladies were fantastic and went out their way to make sure we were okay. The food was super lovely (nachos, pizza and burger), its exactly what we needed and has really lifted our spirits. We are locals and this is our first time at the newly rebranded pub and I'm so happy with what it has become. Thank you ladies for being so lovely. Xxx
C. M.
The burger was good, but it took way longer to arrive than I expected, especially considering how few people were there at the time.
M. G.
Good selection of drinks and food. Very nice staff. 👌 Love the little huts out the back. Great idea.
Z. G.
Reasonable pub food, see decent selection
J. W.
I’ve been here so many times and every time the staff have been soooooo lovely! Such a good place, always accommodating and make
Sure you get a seat in the beer garden under these crazy restrictions right now!
A. V.
Nice beer garden with many outside tables! Some problems with the order but the place were crowd. Curious plus: the first floor indoor is the location of one Trainspotting scene!!
a. a.
Nice wee bar at the top of Queen Margaret Drive. Good choice of drinks, plenty choice of food on the menu, and friendly staff. What's not to like?
You can even get a cheeky fruli in this place, you can't get that in many bars in Glasgow. A nice strawberry fruit white beer from Belgium. Plenty beers on tap too.
L. V.
great place! nice atmosphere. a little bit short of staffs but guess it will be improved soon since the lockdown is completely over. definitely come back
G. N. O.
I popped in for something to eat before i headed to a meeting, staff were very welcoming and extremely busy but handled themselves well, I followed all covid rules as enforced by the staff with no drama, the bacon cheeseburger i ordered arrived with proper chips and I must say it was awesome, great bar with fantastic staff and atmosphere, think this might become my new favorite place!
K. P.
Great bit of Trainspotting history well worth a visit Staff excellent great service 😄
S. B.
Excellent experience. The staff are so friendly and it feels really safe and clean during the Covid outbreak. The pub from Trainspotting wherein Begbie throws a pint-glass over the balcony!
J. L.
Reasonable prices. Big Beer Garden. Good choice of food
K. C.
Had a lovely pizza and burger would recommend, food came out hot and quickly. Staff are friendly and are doing really well under these difficult circumstances
b. b.
Food and drink was lovely. Service was really good from one of the servers but the other was quite rude at times - though that being said, i would be the same if i had all these rules and regulations to follow. Will defos be back :)
D. F.
Lovely dog friendly place with a pool table and darts. Well worth the visit, especially if you're a trainspotting fan
S. M.

A. S.
During coronavirus the staff are overrun so takes longer for you to get food and drink. But good environment staff are friendly but under a lot of pressure
G. C.
All the staff were so lovely, and considering it was so busy and they've all just got back to work, they did amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, will definitely be back.
R. M.
Had the best pizza EVER !! Really great environment and outdoor seating area. Next time I'm going to book the hut.
A. S.
Amazing! Staff are great, so polite and helpful, they genuinely seem happy to be there and like they're happy to interact with the customers, prices match the prices of other venues in the area, only had coffee so far but the food looks amazing and can't wait to try it, the interior is so pretty, wishing them success 😊
T. H.
