We had an Itison voucher for the restuarant which is located in Rouken Glen Park. We were slightly disappointed that the voucher didn't give us access to the full menu. We had to choose from a shortened menu. The food however did not disappoint. We felt that the drinks were expensive.

Dined at the restaurant after receiving a recommendation and we were not disappointed!! First impressions count and the staff here are friendly, attentive and super efficient. Leo was our server who was exceptional, he listened to our questions about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Kids meals can be an afterthought at some restaurants however not at The Courtyard - the kids Tikka meal was a mini version of the adults and our kids who can be fussy eaters ate heartily. The menu consists of the classic Indian dishes as well as some we hadn’t heard of before such as The Egyptian Chicken which we did try and can only say YUM to everything. Now that we have found The Courtyard it will be on our radar when looking for a good curry. Thank you 🙏

As a food blogger, I was invited to the first year celebrations of this restaurant and I got to try some of their fantastic dishes. Everything was outstanding; service, food quality and atmosphere. I loved the curries and the garlic naan was second to none!Would recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

Didn't know this place existed untill we stumbled upon it today and went in for Lunch, the food was outstanding could not fault it one bit. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only down point for me was the massive cobweb above us .

The food is good, staff are good surroundings are good. So - nice place and worth going if you haven't already been. Didn't get 5* because we didn't get the menu we were expecting after having done a bit of research before going. We didn't say anything to them at the time because we were taking guests and these particular guests would have been embarrassed and uncomfortable if we had queried it.

It’s an amazing Indian restaurant! Definitely one of the best Indian restaurant I’ve been. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is great. The food was outstanding! Especially the lamb chops, peshwari naan and buttered chicken. I would give 10 out of 5 if there is such option.

Celebrated Dad's 90th birthday. There was 12 of us. Had pre-ordered the food to save time. The Manager was great and ensured that staff were on hand if required. Food was excellent and we didn't have to wait for the starters, mains and dessert. They even cut up the birthday cake. We all had an excellent time and the staff and Manager were brilliant. Highly recommended.

The food, the atmosphere and the staff are second to none! We arrived at 1830 this evening to be shown immediately to our table and were served poppadoms and spiced onions within seconds, with our drinks brought to us shortly after. I ordered a Bramble cocktail which was delicious! So much so, I had two!! Staff are very attentive as well as friendly and our glasses were never empty. The chicken tikka chasni holds so much flavour and the lamb dahi pudina was to die for! We will most definitely be back again!! Thank you for a wonderful family evening and delicious meal.

The staff so warm, lovely and hospitable! I could not recommend highly enough. In addition, the restaurant is immaculate and strictly adhering to all COVID cross infection procedures. Overall experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, flavourful and not too rich or heavy. Haggis Pakora was in my top two I've ever had. Best thing about it was the customer service. Whenever a drink was finished glass was taken away quickly and we were asked if we wanted anything else. Manager was a really lovely guy and came over at the end of the meal to check everything went well and asked about night.

Brilliant service once again, food was top notch as ever, Garlic and Chilli Chicken wings as a starter was full of flavour. Braved the Vindaloo (Lamb) as a main, great taste loads of flavours, and not just heat.... Even tho it's a hot hot curry. We stay Local to the courtyard so is our go to for Indian takeaways, but it's always great to go into the restaurant and get a proper night out with a great atmosphere.

As an Indian I know good Indian food, and this was good Indian food! Highly recommend it. It's always fully booked so that speaks for itself. Also the owner and Jack the waiter are very friendly. A lot of smiles from the staff and always making sure the food was up to our standards. "The best lamb saag I've ever had", said by my mother.

This place has the best curry I've had and a great selection of drinks. You get what you pay for here. Hands down love it. Good vegetarian options as well. I can't forget how absolutely amazing their staff is. The owner is very talkative and makes you feel really welcomed. That and their stylish interior makes for a must dine! Their service is swift, pricing is fair, atmosphere is just great. I highly recommend this exceptional spot.

Excellent Indian restaurant within Rouken Glen park. The portions are generous so no need to go mad on the starters. Having said that popodoms, spiced onions and pickle weren't too heavy. 2 king prawn, 1 salmon and 1 chicken dish were all excellent. The accompanying rice and selection of nan breads equally so. Not just the best Indian restaurant in the South side, but a contender for Glasgow's finest! The food is exquisite - not a single dish has been less than 10/10 on every visit. Just got delivery from here and had to check my phone when it arrived.......19 minutes from making the call till it was in my hand, that's impressive!!! My better half says it's the best Indian food she has ever had and I've got to agree it was top notch!!! Chilli nan bread is something I've never seen or had before and it was great! Visited the Courtyard last night with my family after hearing good reviews and I was not disappointed. The food was some of the best I have tried with a very modern twist on some dishes. We popped in early evening and the place is beautiful. On being seated we were immediately provided with complimentary poppadoms, spiced onions and dips. This is something I have noticed a lot of other Indian restaurants have stopped doing so this was a lovely touch. I had the chicken tandoori and it was super tasty and well cooked. My husband had a curry which had enormous juicy prawns throughout it. Garlic naan and rice was also perfect! It was pricey for a soda water and fresh lime. I had two and was over £8 for them alone. This is the only criticism I have. The staff were super attentive and the owner was also greeting folk at their tables. Nice touch! We will be back and have found our new fav Indian!

Food good but ordering over the telephone not so good last week we ordered a carry out for collection asked for my order to be checked as previous order was incorrect and despite this my order of a chicken tikka when I arrived home no chicken and had to return to the restaurant to pick it up and the restaurant is 4.5 miles away by the time I returned home it was so cold it was not enjoyable

Tried this restaurant last night for the first time for a takeaway ordered pakora chicken chat 1 curry rice and chapatis was told 20 25 minutes left it about that time but the pakora was cold rest of meal was great and if pakora was hot it would have been excellent will use again but will not take the timing as correct and will pick up asap also will try the dining in option. Tried this again meal was fine as ordered and waited for it but this time the naan bread was stone cold when we got home everything else was fine.
