Brilliant food, steak cooked to perfection..a great atmosphere. Service was brilliant, Deborah is a powerhouse in the Gables..keep her, what an asset to the business, professional, fast and courteous.

We went for Christmas dinner. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Although, only one boy behind the bar had a facemask on. The other 5/6 staff did not. They also did not have a uniform nor anything that resembled staff so we did not know who to ask for help. Although, they were very knowledgeable once we did. For me my salmon was very tough and chewy, for my brother his steak was too. The turkey was nice and moist. Food was very well presented. Very "okay" food alltogether. Very "okay" value for money too. As a pub I would recommend. For food it maybe needs a bit more work. And staff needs to be more cohesive and adhere to current covid rules. I would recommend if you aren't worried about the current pandemic situation.

Fantastic food, lovely restaurant and staff and enjoyed visiting when it was the Pines. We had a relatively large party with children at 5.15pm but were really frustrated that there were a group of men who were overbearing, under the influence and rude to the staff. Don’t think I’ll be back. Not really acceptable that you cannot enjoy a meal with 2 or 3 drinks without it being ruined with a group who weren’t told to tone it down. You need to control the atmosphere for others not as if it wasn’t empty and others wanted a few drinks and a good meal.

Love the refurb as we haven’t been in since it was The Pines. Food was lovely but waited a while for it. Bar wasn’t as stocked as well as it should have been and heard lots of people commenting on this too. Overall we would come back but please stock the bar!

Not as happy an experience as normal because we were there to say our final goodbye to a dear friend. I have been to the pines many times over the years for happier occasions. I have never had a bad experience there, and food and drinks have always been reasonably priced, and great value for money. They regularly update the menu and are happy to cater to allergy sufferers.

Excellent, friendly gastropub opposite Rosshall Park in Crookston. Varied menu, great value and was child friendly. At the time of visit, preparing to close for a refurb in September 2022. Looking forward to returning after that.

Food was cooked well however there is hidden charges that are not displayed on the menu however the staff who delivered the food was great chatty and friendly unfortunately the manager who had come to my table was a complete arse his attitude was far from suitable he is the only reason I didn't enjoy my night as much as I'd hoped.

Great late lunch today. First we'd been in this year. What a big change under the new management, it's all falling into place. Last in in Nov when menu had just changed. Big difference. Great choices. Plenty of condiments and stock of cutlery which was always running out when busy before. Karen waitress very welcoming. Her daughter is the new manager and we wish them success.

The restaurant was quiet. It was nice to enjoy a nice meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Our table was spotlessly clean. Staff were efficient and friendly. I shall certainly visit again when I'm back in the area.

Brilliant pub, amazing staff and delicious food! Food came out so quickly, delicious and nice and hot! The staff were so lovely, especially the blond lady (I'm so sorry I forgot your name!) The tables were clean, good service and good covid measures with track and trace and loads of sanitizer stations. Would 100% recommend!

Went for lunch on a Sunday not been for a while ordered steaks and they were served on a hot skillet plate which was still warm when at the end of our meals. The steaks were done to perfection for us.two steaks and bottle of wine £29 we will be back great value for money 👍

Excellent pub food at good prices. The mixed grill I ordered was superb and great value at only £11.95 Friendly staff and great service, I'd recommend a visit here if you're in the area and looking for something to eat. There's also an outdoor seating area which is ideal when the weather's nice. Highly recommended 👍

The food was okay nothing special but for the price we paid I can't really grumble. Would be good for people of a budget but still wanting to eat out for the night. The kids selection is pretty good and they give a good size portion with the option to add a drink and dessert for great price. There is a strong smell from the bar area so I would suggest sitting as far into the food area as you can. The staff where very friendly.

I was in the toilet and a strange looking man with a goaty creeped up behind me and whispered in my ear that he likes sausages I suggested that he order from the favourable menu in the restaurant. His response was that I should accompany him back to the hospital next door where he lived for the time of my life and a sausage better than the 1 on the menu. Needless to say I punched him square in the dick and left to enjoy my dinner great food great atmosphere but weird toilet people.

Good pub food and service and price was reasonable too - next door is a bar with a jukebox and pool table if you prefer a drink with the interesting mix of locals(!) Good place for a Sunday lunch with whole family or Friday night drinks and pool with mates. Outdoors seating with umbrellas but no area for kids to play.

Typical Glasgow pub/eatery. Outside seating available, but seems to be mainly a smokers area. Service OK, busy Friday night, with Karaoke. Quite a large area so you can sit away from all the singing action.
