Would say this is one of the best restaurants I have been to in my life. The food was amazing, the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our meal. They even gave us taster pots for the special to allow us to try it and my husband actually ordered the special with the accompanying rice but wasn't keen on the rice so they gave him new rice and didn't charge us any extra for this. We will 100% be back here and we have told our friends and family to make sure they visit. Would most definitely recommend

Fantastic meal. Found the resturant by chance and our meal was amazing. We had lamb dezi absolutely fabulous.. like an old fashioned curry you could get in glasgow years ago. Amazing! South Indian garlic chilli chicken was also fantastic. Its been a long while since we had such good curry. We live in ayrshire but will definitely still be back For all you curry buffs out there this is the place to eat. I would highly recommend turbin tandoorie

Our first visit to the Turban Tandoori and it was fabulous. Its a nice cosy restaurant and the staff are super attentive, especially our waiter, Jai, who gave us some great options. Spiced onions and poppadoms on arrival, which were excellent. We had some mixed starters - chicken chart, prawn poori and chicken with paneer. All of the starters were really tasty and quickly devoured. The main courses were also superb - tandoori monkfish tails, salmon tikka, lamb desi and South Indian garlic chilli chicken tikka. We had garlic rice and garlic naans for accompaniments, so no fear of any vampire attacks later. Overall it was a great experience and the food and service were brilliant. We will be back!

Food was lovely, you can ask if you want the curry altered if you like it a particular way. The garlic nan was one of the highlights. Starters were stunning too. Service was quick and the team were really approachable! Overall, I would recommend and visit again!

Ordered takeout via phone, was told it would be ready at 1845 and despite it being a busy Saturday night it was ready bang on time. Food all tasted really fresh. Plenty of meat in both the lamb bhuna and the chicken makhani we ordered. Also had a chana poori which was generously filled. A competitive market but I would definitely recommend a visit if in the area.

Have heard so much about this place over the years. I work a lot in the Giffnock area and many of my clients but it up. It was through my daughter's boyfriend's parents that we got to try it out. We went there for a get together meal as they're regulars in there. They're on first name terms with the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Food was superb. Big portions. So much so that some of us couldn't finish our food but we did get a doggy bag and take it home! Was busy and it's advisable to book before going. Glasgow has in my opinion the best Indian restaurants in the UK but this is right up there amongst the best☺

We visited (again) last night. As always, the food was very, very good. Served really hot - temperature-wise(!) - our meals were made from high-quality ingredients, were extremely tasty and were presented exquisitely. Unlike many other Indian restaurants, where you find a real similarity in taste and look across a range of dishes, The Turban offers a real discrete array of dishes. Stand-out dish for me last night was my starter of Tandoori King Prawns: succulent, tender and infused with the lip-smacking flavour of the Tandoor oven. My wife's starter of Cauliflower Pakora was light and extremely tasty - no signs of stodge here! So, yes, I recommend The Turban to you wholeheartedly for consistently-delivered quality Indian cuisine served in ample portions.

Me & my partner had a first class Beautiful meal Tonigh at the Turban Tandoori in Gifnock we had starters chicken pakora veg pakora it was amazing plenty of main meal chicken Tika rice nan bread sauce it was Delicious no skimping on food in this Restaurant their was alot of food we couldn't eat it all so the waiter kindly put it in containers to take the rest home yummy it will do our lunch tomorrow the staff are so lovely polite and very helpful so why dont you give the Turban Tandoori a try you no you want to .you wont be disappointed i can asure you of that👍👍👍🍺cheers
