The Gloucester Keys are well worth a visit. Certainly atmospheric the evening I visited. Cote Gloucester was also. Very friendly young staff, I was well looked after. The carafe of water was a nice touch; but, my fault this, I thought I'd ordered something 'sophisticated' and ended up with fish pie!

Whenever I eat at a restaurant, I usually eat the main meals. But this time, I can't believe myself. I did eat three courses. The food was so delicious; I enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.

Had lunch at Cote Gloucester Quays today to celebrate a special date yet to come. Food and drink both excellent...Breton chicken and confit pork belly, both cooked to perfection. Looked after so well by Samuel and Sasha who provided excellent and attentive service. Thank you both for a wonderful dining experience, and the complimentary glasses of champagne. Now our go to place for dining out in Gloucester. Definitely 5 stars! Will be back soon. Samuel and Sasha both a credit to Cote.

Currently, Cote is our favourite restaurant in Gloucester. Food is always very well presented and consistently delicious. My favourite is Fillet Noir. Great restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Highly recommended for taste, quality and consistency.

Proof that chain restaurants can maintain high standards. I had the Steak Frites, having substituted the ribeye, wife had Sea bass. Both were delicious, my steak being medium rare as requested. Excellent service, fine ambiance and excellent value.

French cuisine with a good wine selection. The meats were of good quality but the dauphinous potatoes let it down they didn't taste fresh, no fresh cream recipe for sure. Tasted like it was premade out of a packet. which is not very forgivable considering it's beyond easy to make especially on mass. Service was efficient and attentive. Ate here with family yesterday and it was absolutely terrific. I had some muscles, wife had salmon en croute and the kids both had a burger. Good kids options which helps at a French restaurant! Muscles cooked to perfection and wife's salmon was absolutely to die for. Really tasty food. Service was good, waitress very attentative and even made effort to bend down and speak to the kids like they were adults- made the difference that did. Would recommend coming here if you're in the area for shopping etc.

I had a wonderful lunch at Cote Brasserie in the Gloucester Quays, as I was celebrating my birthday with one of my closest friends. Upon being seated we were given a free glass of Kir Royale champagne, which I thought was the perfect compliment to our food order and a special little treat. 💖 Lovely atmosphere and not too busy seeing as it was half term as well. Excellent and efficient service from friendly staff making our experience one to remember! Especially when they went the extra mile by singing me Happy Birthday and had even decorated my desert plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate and raspberry coulis, with a candle in the fondant. Best day ever! 😁 I've always liked dining at Cote Brasserie day or night, but this has really made it my number 1 restaurant, so will continue to recommend it highly after making my day so special and making me feel like a truly valued customer! ☺️

I have been here twice. The food is really well presented and flavoursome. The staff are welcoming and very attentive. It is possible to eat outside and the front of the restaurant can be opened out onto the main thoroughfare. The only downside is that the toilets are up two flights of stairs. After the meal, we sat enjoying the ambiance and the aroma of lovely food.

A gorgeous little French restaurant within Gloucester Quays. Unfortunatly I can't comment too much 'as a mum' as both times I've been, I've been childless! (yes, you can go out for a meal without a baby. This isn't a myth!) However, the service is very polite and very formal and you're made to feel extremely welcome. Table water is offered alongside your drinks to which they have a lovely selection of alcoholic beverages. The food is devine! Delicate French cuisines. I myself have twice had the mussels which are exquisite. I wouldn't say this was a pricey restaurant as they do have a selection of 'set menus', however I could easily spend a lot of money if ordering off the original menu.

Excellent experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food very tasty. Only the 12.5% (optional) gratuity that's already added to the bill is odd and I've not witnessed before. In my opinion a tip should be initiated by a customer, particularly 12.5% I think personally is quite steep.

We had a great evening here. The owners keep a warm and pleasant environment and have attentive staff. Menu might be on the large side, but the food was fab. It is a bit on the expensive side, but worth it for a treat. They also have menus for children. I didn’t like that a 12.5% service charge is automatically added to the bill.

This was my first disappointing visit to a Cote. The place is looking a little tired and the menu was uninspiring. Our server was quite obviously trying to sell up at every opportunity, I understand why but it made us feel uncomfortable. The food was fine though forgettable. Maybe Cote is reaching a natural end.

Had an early dinner on Thursday at Côte, been pretty happy as we didn’t book beforehand however they took walk ins. We order 2 set menus, one was tomato soup and steak frites and the other one, whitebait and steak frites! Very delicious! I would have given 5 stars if the waitress, Shannon, wouldn’t have forgotten to put the bread and butter on the till, we had to remind her and when the bread came we were almost done with the starters which was a bit annoying However I need to say thanks to the lovely lady supervisor who understood when I sent the steak back to be cooked more as I am pregnant and can’t have rare meat! She dealt with the situation very well!

Had a fantastic meal here after being treated very badly at the Greek on the Docks, Manageress was very accommodating and the food was delicious, the teamwork was amazing to watch, I counted 10 staff members on the shop floor at one point! Just wish we could return!

Have been here several times. Always served by the same waitress who's fantastic. The food is excellent. Tonight I had the steak. I often avoid steak because it's difficult to find good steak. This was excellent steak. Never had a bad meal or experience here. It was clear tonight they had a somewhat unexpected rush, I certainly don't think Monday nights as being busy times, and they handled it very well. Will always recommend this place. Whatever you choose it will be good. We'll be back soon!

Perfect. Just perfect. Went in for a late breakfast on a whim and were astonished by the quality of the food, service and ambience. Classy French chic? Got it in spades. We ordered the Avocado breakfast and Full English and we're blessed with two healthy servings of the best breakfast we've had in ages. I'd love to share photos, but I'm afraid I was too focused on enjoying the bejeezus out of my food to contemplate snapping it - which is a shame as the presentation was amazing! I'd also love to be able to pick a highlight but, well, I can't. Even the configure were so tasty we had to ask what they were! (Blueberry was a favourite). Another delicious meal at Cotes at lunchtime today. Had dinner there last night. This place is amazing value for money. Had a delicious three course set menu including mushroom puff pastry, rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce and ice cream with chocolate sauce. The steak was perfect and I couldn't fault anything with the meal. Chocolate sauce was great. Very attentive service and friendly staff. Great place to go pre or post cinema. We enjoyed a lovely meal at Cote Brasserie during the early May Bank Holiday. The service was excellent, our waiter Tarek was attentive, professional and made excellent recommendations. He also dealt admirably with a couple of ladies who felt the need to consistently poke fun at him throughout their meal and at the end thanked him for being so gullible. It was clear this had made him uncomfortable, we actually couldn't believe our ears! Nevertheless he dealt with them well and deserved a medal for that treatment alone! We enjoyed the Asparagus Risotto and the Fish Parmentier, both were delicious. We finished off with a very nice coffee and the crepes which they happily swapped the bananas for berries for me. All in all, a wonderful experience at Cote and I would certainly return.

Food and service was very good, tables are a little close in the centre but no big issue, but the acoustics of the room are such that when busy it's incredibly loud with the sound of all the converaations echoing. If you can find a quiet time then I recommend the food and staff service.

Took my partner after pre booking online. The table we were given was placed at the bottom of the stairs where all the food was brought up and down and was the same route for the toilets. The staff all deserve a medal it's so dangerous and we did ask to move but they shifted us around to help. The staff we're so lovely and offered a free bottle. Defiantly go back but they need to review that system, it's a serious accident waiting to happen.

We have eaten at several different Cote Brasserie restaurants and none have failed to deliver on service and food quality. Last night we booked through an email offering a complementary French 75 (I think) cocktail - there was no problem or awkwardness asking for it and it was amazing- gin, citrus and Prosecco decorated with lemon rind and a purple flower. My friend asked for no tartar sauce with his fish goujons but when the meal came it was all over them. They apologised and took both meals away until both available. The Manageress came over to apologise again but we only waited another 5 mins or so before the correct order came. It was no problem and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the food cooked beautifully. The restaurant was pretty busy but the staff seemed very calm and professional. We will return.
