Visiting the area we read reviews to find somewhere to eat. Noticing a rare 5 star restaurant, we thought, lets give it a try and booked a table. Upon arriving the staff had saved us a seat near the window, weather was beautiful and staff were very welcoming. We ordered two pizzas and a side, little did we know that the pizzas were massive. Pizzas were the best I can remember having anywhere, cooked perfectly and all the ingredients added to the flavor. Excellent quality, service and will always visit this place when in the area. Best pizza ever, thank you

A brilliant restaurant with friendly staff. This is the best pizza in Gloucester without a doubt. I would highly recommend for anyone. Their blindside cider is also well worth a try.

Amazing Pizza 🍕 So tasty, fully of fresh toppings and a really nice base. The crust was the best I have ever tasted. Highly recommended. Please ensure you book thou to avoid disappointment. It was busy even 630 on a Wednesday evening. Prices are sensible and the service is personal. There is a quarky feel about the restaurant that completes a really nice evening. Great little find. Meet up for two families , bit of a mix up with booking ( my fault i am sure !) but sorted quickly and easily . Lady who served us was lovely and owner/ chef great, real character. Pizzas were lovely , cooked well and some great combos/ names. We will be back. Thanks

Honestly one of the best pizza places about in the county, maybe the country. Friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, incredible food. All locally sourced ingredients. If you want a incredible pre or post Gloucester game feed, this is the place to go. Even on non match days, you can't beat H&8.

I love eating at Dough from Dough - they're a locally owned business which makes me happy, and their monthly quiz nights are so much fun. Make sure you book as they get really busy on weekends and rugby nights, but I've always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, the food to be tasty, and so much of their menu is locally sourced, even down to the cider (produced by a company run by a local rugby player)!

Booked a table as had friends visiting from Swindon. I ordered the gluten free base in advance and had a pizza from the vegan pizza selection ( I’ve a few allergies at the moment) . From the moment I entered the restaurant the staff were friendly and had a great smile on their faces. Service is and was amazing, with a nice mixture of cool music playing the atmosphere is great.. Now for the main event, the pizza was stunning, flavour of the meat and the freshly cooked dough just made it a pleasure to eat and enjoy. Wonderful pizzas and great, friendly service. This place deserves to do well. Would just suggest making the lighting less bright and having an entrance porch to keep in the heat. Will definitely return. Since leaving the above review, we returned the following Saturday, when the lighting had been dimmed and the heating turned up. You can't have better service than this! And, yet again, pizzas were amazing. Thanks so much guys for a great evening. Changed my review from 4* to a very well-deserved 5*.

Best pizza I've ever had! I had the garlic goat with the addition of caramelized onions and it was absolutely delicious. Gorgeous light pizza base and packed with scrumptious toppings but I still had room for a bowl of the yummy local gelato. Great selection of tasty beers and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back and try more off the menu.

Only just heard of this place through word of mouth and I am glad I went. Am only in town for a few days and I would highly recommend it to anyone if you are a local, and ex local or a complete newbie to gloucester. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is brilliant and the staff and Great. You instantly feel welcomed with warm smiles and effortless chat. Dan is a legend. He cooks up a storm and keeps you entertained. This is something that passes through the staff and the food. It is great to help support local independent business in these tough times and I will be back next time I am in town.
