As it started raining we looked for somewhere inside where we could take our 2 dogs-was made to feel most welcome here. Great food. Great service. Very dog friendly. Tapas are excellent. Couldn't fault anything about Portivo. Staff were brilliant. Would definitely recommend

This is a lovely friendly place, Atmosphere is lovely, Had brunch small breakfast which was still plenty enough, I did see other meals going out which also looked nice, the place was continuously busy, it over looks gloucester quays and there is seating outside and upstairs, this place is also near the indoor shopping arcade which has plenty of good shops, Levi, Fat face, weird fish, sketchers and many more, if looking for somewhere nice to eat and relax this is a lovely place, Good food and drinks, Definitely recommend and going back

We were looked after very well by very young staff. Music good, but perhaps considered loud by older ears. Impressive choice of menus - it is rare restaurants offer such an extensive vegan menu. I was so impressed I took a photo of it!

Great quality food packed full of flavour. We went at lunch and service was quick and helpful. Prices are good value and the layout is lovely, upstairs you can sit near some open french windows and look out on the people visiting the quays.
I have also heard evening tapas is to die for so will be back soon!

We visited during a weekend trip away, we sat upstairs, there was plenty of space and it didn't feel like we were on top of other people.
We had a cooked breakfast and poached eggs with bacon on a muffin. Both very tasty, poached eggs cooked perfectly - no uncooked slimy bits. We also had a latte and a cherry juice, both spot on.
Service was good. We used the order and pay at the table, it worked well.
I'd recommend the place.

Came in with the wife because we fancied tapas for a change . Wow. We had the 3 each deal sat upstairs as it was really busy. The tapas were as good as anything we've ever had in spain. The service was exceptional. Great staff great food cider on tap. A very happy couple. Well definitely be back .

Went here for breakfast on a first morning in Gloucester, we were there as soon as they opened, (we tried not to look too eager but we were starving)
Was 'freedom day' when we went so we were unsure whether we still had to wear masks or not, the staff weren't wearing them but made us feel comfortable by letting us know if we didn't have too if we didn't want, they kept their distance, were still santising their hands and keeping the place clean and tidy.
We ordered through the app by scanning the qr code on the table.
The decor is eclectic and quirky.
First time we went we ordered pancakes, bacon sandwich and the vegetarian breakfast.
Second time we went we ordered pancakes bacon sandwich again and the spinach, feta and chorizo shakshuka.
Both times the food was hot, delicious and fast to the table.
They can be quite busy, but it's a lovely place to pop in and grab some food, they're also dog friendly.
