J. L.A seriously magnificent pub. Beautiful outside and in, plus probably the best food I've eaten in a pub. Fantastic consistency, charming homely service and clearly so much attention to detail - I would 100% recommend and if possible will definitely return. Veal sweetbreads a particular highlight (although everything was exquisite), they were perfect.

C. B.We went to The Butchers Arms for the first time in October 2020 so there were covid restrictions in place.
The waitress wore a face mask and the number of tables was restricted.
We went on a Sunday and for starters we had salmon and also salted cod scotch egg. The scotch egg was amazing, and the presentation of them all were amazing.
For main we had pork, venison, monkfish curry and fillet steak. The venison was very nice and I would recommend it.
It was very quick service. We were booked in for 12:30 and we had paid the bill by 1:40.
There is a large carpark at the rear and a nice garden area at the front.
I specifically came to this place as I knew it had won a couple of awards.
I would recommend people try this place. The food is great!

Whether you want a pint of Butty Bach, straight from the barrel, or Dunkerton's cider on draught, or a great meal using local produce this is a must go place!

Great service and friendly atmosphere.
The food was fantastic, not had anything as good for a long long time. Was pricey for the food, but was worth every penny. You certainly get what you pay for here.
Some great beer, cider and ale on tap, and varied wine selection.
Will be visiting again for sure.
