I went in at 9.30 desperate for something to eat after a very long day! The owner was really friendly and cooked the cod fresh for me. The batter was light and crisp and fish perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be back again. Thank you

Visited Gloucester for work and had researched where to get a good take away from as there were 6 of us.
The Wellington Fryer did not disappoint and certainly lived up to its five star rating. The owner and his assistant were really welcoming
Most of us opted for fish and chips and all of us agreed it was the best we’d ever had !! Will definitely revisit when we are back in the area.

Came from London to have the renowned fish and chips, made with love and always on point. Great atmosphere and polite staff.

What a amazing place,
We enjoyed the fish and chips and the fish cake, cooked just the way I liked it, with lots of vinegar,, curry sauce, tremendous respect for Mr Imtiaz not only did he make us welcome in his shop, as a visitor in his town of Gloucester, He did not take payment for the food.
May all the goodness falls his way.
Alhumdolillaah.
Most definitely will be visiting The Wellington Fryer in the near future.
Many thanks

Simply the best fish and chip shop in Gloucestershire. Their ability to bring flavours of my childhood into fruition is impeccable. Their food trumps all the greatest fish and chip shops Gloucestershire has to offer. Truly stupendous.

Best fish and chips I've had in a while. Changes the oil regularly with definitely makes a difference in taste. Also home made fish cakes have a touch of spice. The premises are very clean . Oh and I almost forgot to mention the staff, they are extremely customer focused .
