It was ok, very busy and there were a few tables that needed clearing but the staff were generally on top of it. There wasn't too much of a wait to be seated, although we had booked and the queue for being served was about ten minutes. The food was good; a selection of four meats including turkey, gammon, pork and beef.

Went here for breakfast. I came here with my brother and a couple friends, the breakfast was very reasonably priced and the choice of food and drink was more than enough. The inside in built in a way that there are plenty of seats, but it still feels cozy and you can't hear everyone else talking. The staff are friendly and the food is cooked properly and takes good. Would definitely go here again if I'm in the area.

Lovely Sunday carvery , booked online easy process to do. Dean our waiter was attentive and obliging. Lovely choice of meat and roast potatoes that was cooked like you do at home. There was a queue and short wait but soon went down quickly. Will go again for sure.

Myself, a friend and my children came today for lunch and our server Acacia was lovely! She was so polite and smiley that we mentioned it to the other staff as we were leaving. Food was good also, thank you for having us and thank you Acacia for your service, it makes a real difference when you have staff that appear to be happy at work 😊

Ordered a takeaway roast and desserts. The roast was awesome, so much veg and potatoes! Chocolate fudge cake was OK but seemed a bit cheap (not like I used to remember!) All in all a really good service and really good food!

Normally I love Toby carvery but unfortunately lasts nights serving was poor. There was little selection of the veg, the mash had black bits throughout and disappointed with the kids meals. Definitely had better experience in past. It will not stop me giving it another chance but overall a below par experience last night. Only redeemed by a lovely waitress.

We visit Toby regularly and always enjoy it. Unfortunately we would not visit again in the evening when the 25% offer is on as we had to queue for 45 minutes. Perhaps when it's busy like that it might be better if there were 2 people carving the meats this might speed things up. Also when you order refillable drinks they bring the first one to you as when you've queued for that long the last thing you want to do is leave your food to get cold while you try to battle back through the waiting queue with drinks.

Firstly, the roast is second to none. Staff are great too and we were asked several times how the food was (beautiful!), however they lose a star due to the fact you have to wait to be seated. We pre booked as my partner has autism and doesn't like to be seated among a busy area, unfortunately we were told there are no "quiet" areas and were not allowed to choose our own table. I think allowing choice for people that don't want to divulge their personal business would make this establishment perfect, and it really wouldn't be a problem to provide this feature like you used to. Rather than spacing out customers, areas were filled up first - which I thought was a little odd, however it was a lovely meal and despite this issue marring it, I would go back definitely for the food and service alone. But, allow people to have a choice of where they sit - not all problems are outwardly visible and it really can and does affect people, even later on in the day if they have sensory issues.

The breakfast was fine but did not realize you had to ask for scrambled egg when you first went in. Would benefit from a proper coffee machine which does all types of coffee. The toasting area could be a lot better {more selection of jams}
