A. A.This is mainly a to go restaurant, but we tried their sit down area in the second floor and it was really nice.
There are tables by the front window. The food itself was well flavored and well battered. Get the sauces, especially the curry one. It goes well with the fish.
The fries are pretty good. Coke is good.
Bathroom has a smell. Service is okay, they're mainly busy with the to go part.
T. K.We ate in for the experience of a historic building (upstairs dining room). Excellent cod and chips, nice crispy batter, and tasty chips. Small and large portion were pretty much the same size. Fish was actually fried fresh, not from the ready ones on the counter downstairs.

Lovely chips, fish was crisply battered, with side salad, also had 3 thick slices of ham with chips with side salad. 2 bottles of beer. Friendly staff.
2 seating areas, one ground floor, other up small flight of stairs.
Will definitely return next time we visit Gloucester.
R.I found this place on Just Eat and have been ordering from here since. Fantastic quality fish in a delicious, crispy batter and a great portion of chips. My latest order, I tried the chicken nuggets, baked beans and buttered rolls. I would recommend any and all of what I've eaten, the quality is very high and the price is affordable.
