Really not the same as it used to be. A very quiet lunch and three members of staff working on the floor plus bar staff and yet we waited to be welcomed, was given no menu's when seated, had to ask for drinks and had to ask again to order food and then didn't see anyone after that. Paid on the app and left. Food was good but nothing to shout about. Really disappointing.

Free chilly fries to eat whilst waiting for pizzas. Extremely good value for money, especially as Zizzis accept my Bluelight card for 20 % discount. This is definitely best pizza restaurant in Hereford. Have ate here several times

Excellent service by Cameron and team, we booked Zizzis as a birthday meal for a group of 12 year old lads for during their first train trip out without adults. Many items we ordered were not available, Bruschetta! No carrot for kids starter, some vegan options so only left with pizza option. Our calamari starter was supposed to come with garlic & basil aioli dip. When I asked I was told it didn't and was offered some garlic and herb butter, not a dip. Calamari was a very small starter for £7. The staff were lovely but really too many items not supplied or available. We have been before and we did not have this problem. Ravioli di capri, pizza and bolognese were all very nice.

The food is absolutely delicious, I had never been to a Zizzi before but was more than invited to return after the food was so good. The staff were brilliant, but as it was my birthday my family had asked for a happy birthday and when the cake arrived, the kitchen staff had forgotten. I had a free scoop of ice cream however and one lovely member of staff sang happy birthday for me :-)

Where do I start? Positives: Was able to book a table on the same day we made the booking Supervisor seemed pleasant The food was delightful despite the sweltering conditions that the chefs were working in The place is clean including toilets Good location and availability of parking near by Nice restaurants/ bars nearby Good range of food (albeit I do miss the pollo pruchetto dish that used to be a chicken breast wrapped in ham, served with French beans, new potatoes). Negatives: It disappoints me to say this as I have never had a bad experience at Tizzy's before, but the service at Hereford was diabolically shambolic - that is no exaggeration. I felt like I was eating at Faulty Towers. One of the waitresses was completely clueless, so much so she said that they did not sell bottled water (even though it's on the menu), she served us our desserts which were completely different to what we ordered and what she was saying that she was serving. Despite pointing out this difference our waitress looked at us as if to say "what's the problem". Her service skills were terrible. All items of food she did not place on the table, more like plonked them on the table. No "enjoy your meal...is there anything else you need?". She was completely clueless and it showed. I'm actually a very understanding customer, and paid the bill in full, mainly because our meals were delightful and the chefs do not deserve penalising for the incompetent waiting staff member. BUT, I do not appreciate poor service. I understand that there are staffing issues, with new starters in every place you eat now, BUT, that is no excuse for poor service, Mistakes yes, but her service left a lot to be desired. There were other staff members that had only recently started, but at least they had manners and showed that they were trying and apologised for any errors. I think Zizzi's in Hereford need to reconsider how they train their serving staff before letting them loose on the shop floor. If staff cannot do the job and are unable to be polite when serving people and take note of what they are doing,. then they should not be working in the hospitality sector. On a separate note there were a guy serving that day with blue eyes, short light brown/blondish eye who was very efficient. I wish we had him serve us as I am certain our experience would have been much better. The chefs also looked like they were working very hard - so we done them.

Fab place, made a last minute booking for 18 people & not only did they manage to fit us in, the waitress was incredibly friendly & helpful, service was quick and the food was great. The kids menu was good value and there are lots of gluten free options. The salmon in both the main and the skewers was delicious. I think the only complaint in the entire party was that the tap water wasn't chilled, but the wine certainly was!

Bit disappointing, we visited for our anniversary, the food sounded amazing from the description on the menu, the reality was a huge let down, tiny portions for the huge price. My main was really hot all round the edge,but by the time I reached the middle I realised it was still frozen :-( I felt very awkward about raising the issue at this point plus it was so busy, and the (lovely) staff rushed off their feet, so I put it down to one of those things, probably due to not having enough staff working. The actual reason I wont be back is the disproportionate cost for what we had.

Second visit to this Zizzi sadly not as good as the first. Lots of new food so we took our time to go through the menu, server seemed to be distracted and not over interested. Sharing board was good and the pizzas were tasty but not overly warm. Speed of service was good but when we showed our voucher code offer there was a look of " oh no". If you are not happy to get them offered as a part payment, don't put them on the internet.

Love this place. It is always my go to restaurant when I want to meet up with my family and friends. The food is always delicious and the service is always quick. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, also they are very polite. Overall an amazing place to go.

My friend Claire and I had a really lovely meal. However, Claire did order wholemeal pasta and at first she did not receive it plus what she got was warm rather than hot. The staff replaced it with the correct pasta and it came up piping hot. Service was good and staff helpful.

Staff not helpful when trying to book a meal due to me having a voucher also when choosing our meal we asked about the supplement and the waitress said anything off the menu.We had not even finished our starter when they were at our table bringing us our main dish not impressed with this.my partner loved the starter but not impressed with the amount of prawns in the linguine. He loved his sorbet too. I enjoyed my starter but not my main, loved the cheesecake. I will say though this is the third time we have been there, an this is the first time we have not been happy with the way it all went. I felt as though as it was a buy a gift voucher meal they were rushing us a bit,

Delicious! Lovely Italian serving lady, made us very welcome and was so attentive, she even made sure the chef knew about cooling off the chilli for my seafood risotto, it was fantastic!! A really nice feel to the restaurant, I'd happily go again!

Food was of good quality, but took far too long to arrive on what was a quiet night (Sunday). 40 mins for starter - nearly 1 hour for main. One of the pizzas was stone cold - this on a quiet night. Staff were very inattentive and somewhat cold. Already had discount offer, otherwise would have refused to pay full cost for this service. A shame as had much better experience at Zizzis elsewhere. May be enticed to try again if these issues resolved.

The staff are political and friendly. The food is normally quite good, not amazing but still tasty. However if you catch them while they are busy you can wait up to an hour for your main to arrive and food may not be up to standard

It Is what it is, nice place good service, not bad food. I had the new carbonara with chorizo crumb, I had to ask for more crumb as there was no chorizo taste to the meal. We then both had over heated brownies that were more like melted ice cream when we got them, I didn't eat mine my friend did and said it still tasted nice, but when I want a brownie I want a brownie!!

Personally I don't eat pizza and went as a group. The pasta dish was watery and didnt taste nice I was hungry so was unimpressed others said there pizza was a little burnt. Then when it came to paying they added a extra charge. The place was empty when we went so I can see why. Maybe was a bad day for them but i I wont be going back again.

This is by far my most favourite place to dine out in Hereford - found it to be incredibly popular with diners so therefore wise to book a table especially during peak periods. Always find the food to be freshly prepared to order, tasty and delicious, excellent value for money especially if you're looking for something slightly higher in quality say for a special occasion etc; if you sign up to Zizzi Offers, u can regularly save yourself between 20%-30% off your bill amongst other things. Tesco Clubcard holders may also convert Clubcard Points into Zizzi Vouchers. Clean, lovely, friendly atmosphere albeit busy during peak periods however Staff endeavour to do there very best offering excellent Customer Service. Abundant Car Parking in nearby Old Market Complex.
