H.All day breakfast at a great price, but nothing really stands out quality-wise. The quantity may be great but that's about it. The bacon was dry and overcooked not just for me but also for my partner, which was a disappointment. The rest of the food on the plate, while not terribly by any means, were simply unremarkable.
The coffee, however, was really good. It's nice to see them grinding the beans onsite. I'd come back for the coffee.

B.we when into to have two breakfast talk about hot food every thing was cook brillent there was toilet to for men and female and disabled there was a ramp that you can get into easy very clean place every table was clean after every use and chairs too the kitchen was getting ready to have a deep clean
J. H.Been here several times now and has to be the best cafe around for miles. Great freshly prepared cafe food. Plenty of filling in the sandwiches and fat non greasy chips. It would have been 5 stars however our chips were covered in that American chip spice without us being asked if we wanted it or not, and we didn't. Very hood prices and lovely staff. Very clean and a couple of outside tables are available. Had Fab breakfasts here in the past. Highly recommended.

L. L.As always food is good quality and good price. The staff are so lovely and helpful and welcoming. The owner should be very proud of their staff. They are always so busy but always are ready to give a warm welcome. I tend to get a full English breakfast which is always delicious. Their portions are good and it runs so well. Ive had wraps, and paninis there too, again they've been yummy and filling 👍

R. L.This is never going to be a twee country cafe, thank heavens for that. This is a genuine good Hull ordinary people cafe, friendly, warm, nice, great friendly staff, and busy! That's a sign of a good place, you struggle to get a seat. I've often popped in, from a yummy full breakfast, to a warning cup of tea, always a friendly smile and not too hard on the pocket. I'd walk past other places to go here out of preference.

T.Not a bad breakfast, you can get two breakfast and a coffee for £8.99 but the only downfall is the coffee is really strong not a very smooth one , that's the only thing that affected the rating for me personally as I'd like the choice. The bread is farmhouse and taste very nice, would recommend a visit if your after a nice breakfast.

C.Been to this cafe a lot of times have to say the best cafe in hull by a long shot great customer service always good conversation with staff on the counter the portion size is amazing the standard of products are amazing any issues are resolved with no issues really want more people to support this cafe the prices are really reasonable would pay double for the quality wouldn't get it any where else not a bad word to say about the place just amazing once you go you wouldn't pick another cafe and they also deliver and food and drinks are always still fresh and hot it's just what you need for dinner or after work its charlie think it's out of this world by the way
P. C.Quality has dropped recently possibly due to takeaway/delivery orders getting done at the same time as dining in., prices gone up about 20% , made a simple mistake with the breakfasts.

J. F.I bumped into a friend and went into cj'z for the first time today. We only had a cup of tea, but meals looked and smelled delicious. Staff was really polite and very helpful as my friend could not walk properly. There was plenty of people in the cafe and people coming in as we sat and chatted, as i sat i observed the staff where so friendly with every one. I will be attending again x

V. M.4 of us went in for dinner. I ordered ham and cheese omlette with potato wedges and baked beans. Absalutely lovely 😊 We all enjoyed our meals. The downside was they advertised desserts and 2 of our group asked for a different one each but were told that they had no desserts at all! ☹

p. s.Always enjoyed a huge meal and cappuccino. Very disappointed as the coffee machine hasn't been working for two weeks and my all day breakfast was nothing like the plateful it usually is.
