The barman offered to make us any cocktail we wanted ( depending on ingredients) and Wow he delivered!
White Russian, Moscow Mule snd Sidecar were rustled up quickly and were divine!!°

As you can see by the pics the food is presented really nicely. And is delicious. The portions are big and we all struggled eating our mains. Eyes bigger than our bellies. M. W.To start we ordered a garlic bread to share which only contained garlic butter in the middle, which tasted delicious, however the remaining bread ended up being a little dry.
For the main we ordered a meat feast calzone at £12.95, which when it arrived looked amazing. However, after cutting into it is was underwhelming. There was very little filling, other than steam and slightly gooey cheese. The calzone itself tasted fine, if a little bland. It should have contained chicken breast strips, ham and pepperoni, however it did not. I assume they had run out of ham prior to my order, and the other ingredients were in short supply.

Overall I would say 6.5 out of 10.

Wasn't going to complain to staff about it as it was trivial, my daughter ordered the seafood spaghetti which was sadly lacking in the sauce department. I'll just put it down to a bad day in the kitchen. Won't stop is going back though.

P. S.Not bad. I had the chicken, which was dry, I couldn't have had it without the sauce. The sauce was ok. The best bit about the meal for me was the spiced red cabbage which is a shame when I'm a thoroughbred carnivor near lover. For the price; it was worth it, I would go back but would try something else. The coctails looked nice, but can't comment as I was driving...so off the booze. Clean establishment, friendly staff. Can't complain at all really.

This might have something to do with the size of the group but with pre-ordered food you would hope that they could prepare something at least somewhat interesting.
Decor is good and restaurant is clean. Staff have typically been somewhat brusque.

I ordered the same as I did previously (burger) and it was quite bland, the chicken burger was charred on the outside, even the bun was burnt.

We came for post graduation cocktails.
The offer is good for happy hour, but the service was slow (by accident).
The order was initially taken to another table! This led to a 35 minutes wait, before we had no choice but to go ask what was happening.
One guy cannot make cocktails on his own, answer the phone and pour drinks. A secondary staff member should be capable, even if not as proficient.
The guy would be ruined if a full house came in all of a sudden.
This was swiftly resolved though, so we can't fault the staff for it.
They offered two shots or a free cocktail.
Which is fair.
The drinks were lovely. As well as creative.
Would recommend for cocktail happy hour till 6pm or for lunch time food ( calzone is the bomb).
S. k.Party of 13, the table was pre booked. When we arrived the table was set and a clip board and pen so we could write down and give in our order when we had decided. The food arrived without delay, was very good with ample portion sizes even the child's pizza was the size of a dinner plate.
