C. F.This is the 3rd delivery we have had from Maharajah and we have to say it has been spot on every time.
They have informed us of delivery time and food has always been delivered within allotted time. Drivers have all been polite and helpful. Food has been fantastic, hot and delicious. We have sat in once for a meal and we will be sitting in again. This is our favourite Indian in Hull.
I do have one question for the owners though, every time we order, we receive points. What are the points for and how do we redeem them? We have 748 points.

G. G.Got the order wrong to the displeasure of the Mrs... Some of the order was at the standard of our previous visit such as the Mixed meat Naag and lamb tikka but the accompanying rice, poppadoms and raita were quite poor for this place.. Sorry but for the money average at best

J. H.Well this has to be the best Indian restaurant in the area. You can take in your own wine but not beer however, they do now sell wine. The staff are very nice and friendly. It has been redecorated and looks lovely inside. There are booths down one side making it cosy. The food is fabulous and arrives hot and ranges from mild through to Naga chilli heat. We had the 13.50 meal deal of starter, main, ice cream and a coffee. We upgraded a couple of items and it still came in at under 40 quid for us both including 2 Cobra beers. We had enough left over to do us the following day. They put it onto take out containers for you. It's a must visit if you love a good curry.

M. T.A great Indian restaurant that offers delicious, authentic Indian foods. I love how the entire menu has detailed descriptions of each meal so you can try new things with confidence that you like the ingredients used.
The staff were very hard working and pleasant. A little hard speaking of English but clearly trying. And the price was very fair for the quality and large quantity. Will be visiting many more times in the future.

Nice place though. Clean looking. Staff were friendly and accepted our reason for not staying.

C.Absolutely lovely, not only the food but the demeanour of the helpful and friendly staff. I have visited the restaurant and had a great time with beautiful food but they're also amazing within their delivery service too!
Although they can be busy on a weekend and orders can take a while ( to be expected with a busy, popular place) they have excellent customer service, and the food is well worth the wait!
My favourite for quality of food and all round service.

My only complaint is that the dish I had (Chicken Bhuna) didn't have a huge amount of flavour which kind of ruined it for me. I'll definitely have to try another dish at some point and revisit this review then.

This is a first class family run restaurant with beautiful decor and a well established takeaway delivery service. Excellent and fair value for money too which puts it in a league of its own. B. C.Always order takeaway from here every Friday night and sometime go and eat in he restaurant on a saturday. always lovely and taste the same every time.
sometimes orders can take a long time but this is understandable on busy nights. staff are always polite and so are the delivery drivers. highly recommend going into the restaurant and also take away, delicious sat writing this while waiting for my take out now.

D. T.Contrary to the location, when inside, staff are always welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent, best we'd had in hull area by far and service to match. Although there is a bar that does have a selection of beers spirits etc, we realised when in there that you can take your own drinks in (spirits included) which made it even more reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this litle gem. Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

The drinks came quickly, nice gaps in between courses and food is beautiful.

K. L.I just googled 'indians in Hull' and this placed popped up with decent reviews and it was relatively close by and both me and my husband never tried it before so we thought we have a go at this place.
All i can say it was a blessing because as soon as we arrived, it was vibrant with a few tables and was welcomed by a polite well spoken young fella and we was a bit embarrassed to ask for a table because we didn't expect it to be busy on a monday but they waiter was kind to seat us down at the waiting area as he set a table up for us, he quickly cleared a table and cleaned one the booth tables and set it up for us and attended us to have a seat. From then on it was superve, the service, the atmosphere, the timing, the food, the value, and experience, basically everything was 10/10.
They won't be surprised to see us again a few times in the next few months!

R.used this curry house for alot of years now, ordered tonight was told would be 1hr 30 mins arrived after 2 hrs with the poppadoms too our pickle tray missing which was going too be our first course the driver told us he would go back and get them after waiting 2 hours we thought we would pass on that. After opening our delivery there was no pickles either rang up to complain only to be faced with the most rude and arrogant front of house who made it feel like it was our fault and told us they are in a tough industry and they serve alot of items on there menu so there is alot to forget if we want something simplier we should order pizza and chips customer service like this will seriously damage a really good restaurant

D. B.Tried the Maharaja for a take away whilst visiting Hull based on other reviews here. Well I wasn't disappointed. One of the best curries I've had for ages. Pakora starter was lovely, Chilli Garlic Saag Bhaji side dish was really nice, not oily at all and with a lovely distinctive flavour, (not the 'everything tastes similar' that you get some places). For main course I had the decision to go with something I know I like or try something more unique to that restaurant. So I decided to go with one of their own recipes - Chicken Tikka Samber. It was amazing, fairly hot but slightly tangy too with a wonderful flavour. Plenty of chicken tikka in the curry which was also tasty. With Pilau rice the whole meal was £11. I've paid a lot more elsewhere for vastly less quality meals. The food here is fantastic and I'll be back for sure next time I'm in the area!
