I enjoyed the chicken spring rolls and grilled pork skewers very much. The beef jungle curry had a little spice which made me love it more. I also had pineapple fried rice and it tasted great.. very affordable meal as well

Always a pleasure dining here, cosy but not cramped with great food and service. I had the beef dark broth noodle soup dish, which is one of my favorites and didn't disapoint. If you like pad Thai, this is the place for you.

Great Thai place. If you're in Hull then it's a must try! Very unique ingredients and recipes. Quaint atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

Having been to Thailand many times I was intrigued to try Malai Thai due to the good reviews, I checked out the extensive menu prior to opening time and whilst doing so a passerby also recommended the restaurant as a regular eatery. The place is small, authentic and cosy and having reserved a table for later I thoroughly enjoyed a starter and soup instead of a main meal which was superb, will definitely visit again if and when I’m in the area next.

I order food from these guys every week, the service is always super quick and friendly and the food is unbeatable. They have a quorn option which is really uncommon but perfect for me being a vegetarian. They never get my order wrong like some take out places and the food is just always 10/10. Love it best Thai food in Hull and East Riding :)

Oh my word! The food here is wonderful!!!! I do suggest booking as it's very small...we only just managed to get a seat on a Wednesday lunchtime. Also, on a lunchtime they serve a business woman's special of any starter and any curry for £9.99 so our meal of spring rolls, satay chicken, prawn red curry, tofu green curry and a bottle of Prosecco cost just under £38 for the two of us. Amazing value for amazing food.

Cosy, intimate restaurant but also family friendly as staff had a highchair, plastic plate and baby cutlery ready for our daughter. I'd reccomended booking, especially if bringing small children as it's only a little restaurant. Had one of the best curries I've ever eaten. It was absolutely beautiful and also amazing value for money. Will definitely be returning!

The BEST veg spring rolls I have ever had, unbelievable satay tofu skewers and a lovely atmosphere and staff. I recommend booking as it's a cosy place which I feel makes it even better. I definitely will be going back very soon and taking other people to experience this hidden gem

We had the set lunch menu with Tom kha, and delicious vegan Green curry! Genuinely one of the best Thai currys I’ve had in ages! Lovely and attentive service too ( i had a 9 month old with me, which isn’t easy at the best of times) and they bent over backwards to help me! Very good customer service! Walked past and thought we would try it. We were greeted by really friendly staff and seated. We had starter of fish cakes and squid, and I had one of the curries. The food was outstanding, full of flavour. Service was fast and the atmosphere was really calm and it just was a lovely experience. Would recommend!

Absolutely delicious! The lunch menu is unbelievably value and the food was incredible there - so rich and tasty! The decoration was beautiful and it was extremely clean, I saw staff cleaning tables and chairs etc after customers left and staff were also very friendly. Would recommend!

Popped in on a rainy lunchtime to try out the two course for £8.50 deal. I recieved a warm and friendly welcome. The food was made fresh and served quickly, something I was relieved about not having much time. It was beautifully cooked and very moorish, I will definitely be visiting again. They can make all food Veggie and have lots of choice for vegans. They even have separate fryers so I can happily take my hardcore veggie sister! A small family run business with lots of flavour! Definitely worth a visit.

We ordered food to celebrate my 30th birthday in lockdown, first time ordering and it absolutely saved the day, made up for the fact we couldn't go out! The food was unbelievably delicious and packed full of beautiful flavors. I had a vegetable red curry and spicy papaya salad... I felt like I could have actually been in Thailand, once I turned the heating up a bit! I haven't been able to stop thinking about my food all day and I cannot wait to order again! Couldn't recommend Malai enough, it is AMAZING!!
