I stay here regularly and always have a great experience. All the staff are fantastic and especially Ioannis , David and Amy in the restaurants, great service, very attentive etc. I highly recommend it

First time and it won't be my last. Great steak meal with green peppercorn sauce and roasted tomatoes. Classic 1970s chocolate mousse to finish. Meal made all the better with 25% early bird discount before 7pm

Calamari was greasy and Luke warm. My partners steak was luke warm and overcooked. My burger was average. On a positive note, service from most of the staff was great. Chocolate mousse dessert was wonderful. Expected better and have had better. Sorry... ☹

Glorious afternoon. After booking in for afternoon Tea with my wife. We were pleasantly surprised with the whole package. The food, drink, staff and the service was excellent from start to finish. We have just booked in for Christmas dinner on the back of this. Well done to all concerned.

What a lovely find! We was a little unsure reading previous reviews about small portions, however that's not the case. We had a set menu and I assure you that it's plenty, you won't go hungry. In my opinion it's good value for money. Food came out very fast, all hot and fresh. Lovely place with great service and food. Most definitely will return.

I have dined here the last 4 nights, and this was the second time the food was cold. Monday the steak was cold, peas warm and chips red hot. Tonight steak and Ale pie cool. Dont like to complain but did and the service was excellent replacing my meal with a hot version. Food very tasty, so was enjoyed. I hope my comment leads to a positive improvement in meal delivery being all the same temperature to ensure satisfaction.

I have been to a few of Marco Pierre’s restaurants around the UK and this is the first one that was disappointing. We were there for a birthday and it was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Regardless we had to wait over an hour for just one course and the food was cold. The service was slow and inattentive. The staff were apologetic and did try and make amends but it was still a disappointing evening…

I wouldn’t say don’t go to this restaurant, but I can’t believe other local restaurants or pubs aren’t offering a steak meal that is comparable particularly when you consider the price. Obviously, the restaurant is not catering for the pub diner but if I pay above average, I expect an above average meal and service. The meal was just ok (I wouldn’t say my Delmonico steak was any better than a pub steak) and the service was standard. Unless I was staying at the hotel, it was freezing cold outside I probably would go back!

The meal was lovely, had prawn cocktail and steak cooked just as I like it, rare to medium! Staff were very friendly and efficient. Would definitely go again. Well worth it.

We used a Groupon deal to eat here (I have found Groupon a little bit and miss in the past, but this deal is great value). We enjoyed a two course meal off a set menu, but their was plenty of choice, and was very good (I had the white bait starter, both my husband and I had the steak, then husband had a chocolate mousse for desert-all v good. Drinks, typical price for this level of eatery. But what fantastic value the kids menu was!!! All in all, very good, we'll be back.

The staff made us feel special and were very accommodating for mine and my partners birthday. The steak and lamb were heaven and the calamari was so morish I don't normally like horseradish sauce but this was homemade so made an acception. We will definitely be going again very soon .

fantastic customer service my aunt and I received back in May. Every single one of your team on 4th May were amazing and so friendly. I was like a breath of fresh air to come out for afternoon tea and receive the high level of customer service your team gave. I do have to give a special thank you to Emil and the lovely gentleman who’s name I didn’t get who I believe took our afternoon tea back at least twice when we didn’t like something which was on the afternoon tea which was no fault of the restaurants more our picky taste. Thank you once again for your hospitality and from someone who used to work in training in the hospitality trade giving me hope that the high level of customer service is still around and being given

Fantastic food, great menu, very attentive service. Beautiful surroundings. Only slight niggles asked for water and was immediately brought bottled (trying to stop this as even though glass it has an unneccessary carbon foot print) also cocktail arrived with plastic straws- maybe could be optional in the future.

We had a late lunch, booked the 2 course for £11. The service and staff were excellent. The meal was very good, had the fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding. Shame there were so few people in, which meant no ambience or buzz going on.

Came today for shopping and hubby booked for evening meal. I decided to try something I should have tried 36 yrs snails...and wow, so nice in a garlic sauce with the well cooked rib eye steak. However was the fish soup and gruyere cheese that stole the show. Definitely recommend a visit, not cheap but not outrageous either, for special occasion. Special treat for husband and me. Booked table easily on line. Arrived early for pre-dinner drink, and perusal of menu. Been several times and menu basically remains the same, steaks and burgers with few other dishes so you know what you're getting. Extensive wine list, chose a Pinot Noir for £20.50, very pleasant. Starters, mains and desserts with coffee all arrived steadily, not rushed or waiting too long. Time to chat and eat /drink sensibly. Lovely food and service, no issues, and Bonus of 25% early bird price which we were unaware of ( check their website for details) Just knocked the one star off as menu hasn't changed in the times we've been however no biggie for us as we went for the steaks cooked to perfection with sauce and sides ( try the snails and garlic butter on your T bone!)

Positives: Nice looking restaurant. Very clean and staff were pleasent. We visited for lunch and had the set menu. British burger was very good however, it's quite difficult to go wrong with a burger. Cons: Atmosohere wasnt great and we were the only ones in the whole restaurant. At 12:45 the day before valentines! The sticky toffee pudding wasnt great either. Whilst it tasted excellent the pudding was quite dry and suffered (like most sticky toffee puddings do) with a lack of sauce. There were no draught beers. For a steakhouse this was disappointing. All in all for the same price i would recommend visiting the fruit market and checking out the restaurants there.

It's a run of the mill restaurant no real USP and the food whilst well presented was average at best. No ambiance, you sit in what feels like a hotel reception. Was like being at work.

When I first realised there is a restaurant inside Hilton I was a bit taken back. My first thought was "...this is double tree Hilton premium hotel. Dont get me wrong, I have been to choice restaurants before. The annoying part is the portion which they serve while you pay that premium price.. I have to mention that I was not looking foward to this one. We booked a table on a Sunday evening. It happened to be a cold day and I a hungry one for me. We were greeted with a warm smile and a nice cup of tea ( and yeah billed ) The portion were slighly larger than expected. We are actually planning to go back just to see whether the portions will shrink in time or not. The service was impressive:The staffs were friendly and the food was good.
