K. W.Food was lovely and they do cater for people with allergies which is nice. Also dog friendly, another plus. Staff are very friendly and the place is lovely and clean. There is a decent choice on the menu ranging from breakfast to dinner and there is also a good selection of drinks and cocktails. Would recommend
P. W.First time using the Ponto Lounge but won't be my last. We went for a business dinner and we were not let down by the staff, food or standards.
We caught "Taco Tuesday" which is a steal and so filling with the 3 courses.
The house red, that came with the taco deal, was smooth and warm, very nice!
As I live in the Midlands, the service and quality of food at the Ponto Lounge, will now make me seek them out down here.
Not sure who the gentleman was who served us and waited on us but his attention , service and personality were spot on!

J.lovely food and staff!! although there were complications with ordering (our fault, not the cafés) the staff were extremely polite and patient and clearly have the customers best interests in mind! the wait for food was no longer than ten minutes despite it being pretty packed full. it has a wide range of options and all fairly priced for the quality. absolutely gorgeous food and lovely experience, a definite recommend! cant wait to come back :)
J. H.Well, the decor is fabulous, all odd chairs, tables and sofas. There is some seating and the bar on the ground floor and a lot of tables on the first floor. Food, well, it was very tasty and well seasoned but luke warm. You order via an app via your mobile or at the bar. We sat across from the kitchen pass and it took the one waitress on average 15 minutes to collect each meal sitting under the lamps so that explained why it was luke warm. It looked like she didn't care, no urgency and she sent food to the wrong table and even tried to deliver more burgers to our table even though our plates hadn't been cleared. 2 burgers, one ciabatta sandwich, one calamari tapas, a coke, bottle of wine plus a cocktail 63 quid. Oh and no coleslaw as it had run out and we wasn't asked if we wanted anything else. Would I go back, probably not now I've seen all the food sitting for 15 minutes before being taken to the customers.

H.We stopped by here for a meal one evening and were pleasantly surprised! Their Bombay Sweet Potato and Lentil Curry may not look like much when served, but it's actually quite filling. The flavours are nice and balanced, too. Meanwhile, their Big Lounge Breakfast looked to be quite a sizable serving as well. And it's nice that they give you different options for your toast to suit your dietary needs. The prices may seem a bit high, but they're well worth it and we'll definitely be back.

S. S. A. A.I've been to Ponto a few times. The staff are always very nice and professional. A lot of them also seem to understand disabilities and want to help disabled people access their amazing food.
Their food I've had is delicious and tastes fresh and hot. I've had Bacon, Sausages, Hashbrowns, Beans, Toast and the warn brownie sundae.
The prices can be a tad high in my opinion, since I believe its owned by a big company. I also think their soft drinks offering could be better. Milkshakes would be cool!

B. H.Went for the first time today after wanting to try for a while. Atmosphere was nice and chilled and it was a nice warm shelter from the outside! Ordered via the QR code simple enough and within minutes our drinks were brought over. Bit longer wait on the food but nothing to worry about as the staff were lovely and polite and even came to do a check back. Got the lounge breakfast x2 and it was so delicious I forgot to take a pic before hand to go with this review! My only criticism would be that the food was a little dry I presume from sitting under a hot lamp for a few moment while waiting collection but again nothing so bad I felt the need to complain. The only thing I would recommend is a dumb waiter😂 otherwise it was a lovely visit and I’ll definitely be back to explore the menu further!
S.Lovely place inside. Was pretty busy when we went so a fair wait for food (30+ mins) however they did explain this to us beforehand and we were okay with it. Cooked breakfast was very nice. Read reviews where the food has been served lukewarm but that definitely wasn't the case and was enjoyable. Only downside is my partner ordered a vegan dish which came out with an egg on top of it! Because of how busy it was she opted to just take it off and eat the rest but otherwise we would've mentioned it. However overall I would recommend and will likely return.

L. S.This is a fab place! I visited my first Lounge in Mumbles a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised to find one closer to home! The food is delicious, service brilliant and the coffee is nicer than any coffee shop.
The menu is great and caters to all. I can particularly recommend the Lounge eggs and Lounge breakfast. The food is very reasonably priced.
Next time I'll visit in the evening and try out the cocktails.

We arrived on a very busy lunchtime and we were quickly greeted and seated. Once we had ordered, our food arrived quickly, was well presented and was extremely tasty.
All staff were friendly, attentive and seemed genuinely interested in providing great customer service.

U. v.Amazingly kind staff 🙏 I'd lossed my bank card in the seats outside the restaurant which are very hard to get anything bk from unless you have something a thin stick & a lovely young man who works in Ponte Lounge helped me retrieve it bk so it made my day so much better! You cant buy kindness so if this is how the staff are with ppl who they didn't really need to help then your definitely going to get a top service inside restaurant, big thank you made my day far better 😊

Bar staff were friendly but I wouldn't recommend the cocktails here, the 'Long Island Spiced Tea' fell a bit flat despite sounding like an appetising concoction.

Such a brilliant idea to have separate FULL menus for people with certain dietary requirements (gluten free and vegan) so they don't have to scour the "regular" menu looking for something they can eat. Here they have (pretty much) the same huge choice as everyone else, on their own menu.
Everything is prepared well and beautifully presented, and most importantly tastes great too.
The ordering is from your table through the app, and but for those who can't do that they do allow orders from the bar.
We have been several times now and will continue to do so.

A great new place where the slightly higher price is worth it for the quirky environment, outstanding customer service, great presentation, and high taste value.

I opted for the lounge burger which came with fries and salad wasn't a massive portion just enough I'd say. N. B.Needed to find somewhere for lunch with my parents and husband. Had been here for breakfast a couple of times (always very good) but never at this time of day. The staff were really polite and friendly and well presented. The place was spotless and comfortable and you saw them clean after every customer. The food was absolutely stunning. Three of us had the bacon cheeseburger and it was brilliant. It is really difficult to get a decent burger these days but they nailed it. My mum had the buttermilk fried chicken and that looked good too. All the four meals (and they were very substantial portions) and two diet cokes and three tap waters came just short of 50 quid, excellent value for money.

A. W.I’ll be honest, we’ve avoided coming here for a while after reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisor but after not being able to find anywhere else (forgot to book somewhere on a Saturday night) we thought it can’t possibly be that bad.
I’m so glad we did because everything was perfect. We ordered online and paid online so avoided needing to use the bar service so I can’t comment on that but everything came out quickly, warm and really tasty.
The service itself was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere is lovely.
Obviously everywhere is struggling to source ingredients at the moment and yes things were unavailable but that’s not the fault of the venue and it’s quite unfair that a lot of these bad reviews are based on that.
Would definitely recommend to friends and we would certainly go back.

There is a large amount of handcrafted and mainstream drinks, the homemade pink lemonade is fantastic.
A varied selection of dishes for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike with a handy website to help navigate options.

L.I am in love with the interior design - if you love art as I do, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! It's a very welcoming and funky cool place, whether you're just in town for a coffee or a full meal - fantastic wide range of choices on their menu. Food was hot and delicious! I ordered a chicken burger which I rarely do, and I can say, one of the BEST I've ever had - very fresh with a home made taste. Will definitely be back as it might be one of my new favourite restaurant's/café in Hull at the mo. Definitely what the city center needed. Also very good location! Thanks Ponto! X
