Well for a start, customer service is very low key. Turned up with my wife and one guy was on the phone and another sorting paperwork out. We stood there for 10 mins before an English lady said she'd be a few minutes. So seated us OK and gave us menus. Instantly we were asked what drinks did we want and if we wanted poppadoms. Not yet to them and could we have a wine list. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I ordered a draught beer and a bottle of wine. We were then asked for our order, we said give us 10 minutes as it's a big menu. OK, then we gave our order. So the poppadoms came with the pickles. The lime, chopped onion and a jam. Nothing particular for 2 quid. Well food wise, my saag paneer tasted of honey or something very sweet which isn't normal. My special was tonnes of spinach with lamb and it did taste ok. My wife had biriani and rice. Well, it was a mountain of rice and very little else. The prawns in the rice were Well overcooked and like rubber. Very heavy on the chillies too. Three other couples came in and just had chicken korma and tikas so I guess they're OK. For my wife and I, it wasn't that good and yes, there is 30% off but we left 30% of the food. Didn't ask for the leftovers for takeaway. Would I go back, no. Nor my neighbour who tried to say don't bother !!. This place needs to gee up its front of house and maybe cut its menu in half (even more) and do a better job. Quantity over quality doesn't work. There are better places just as close.

The place is very inviting. We ordered a variety of dishes which not only arrived quickly but were to die for! With each dish they just were getting even more delicious! Thanks to the staff for making this night unforgettable! Will definitely visit again next time we're in town!

Good food, but they don't help people who really needed to during an emergency situations. One of my friend badly needed a job but he didn't provide him the job. It was around 2019-2020. They just gave excuses like there is no work, so they can't provide any jobs.

Great service - venue is okay at best - garlic chilli chicken with a garlic naan was okay - poppadoms and chutneys was a joke. Despite all the great reviews, I was served a very average meal hence a three-star rating. I would not return here and therefore would not recommend this restaurant.

Excellent quality food, fantastic service. The venue is really nice with its tasteful decoration and gentle music providing a nice dining atmosphere. The layout is really good equally suited to groups of all sizes or nice little booths for more private meals. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and good, generous portions. An absolutely wonderful place to go for a curry. Everything about it is top notch. The food is fantastic throughout a whole meal (starters and the house special curries being particularly noteworthy) and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. It's location is also good if you want to go on into town or to the clubs and pubs of Beverley Road. Highly recommended.

The Madras was the very best I have ever have, my wife had the chicken korma again the very best she have tried. This is a really good restaurant that is able to cater for large groups. The curries are really good quality but they are a little bit on the expensive side for sides (pilau and a naan cost nearly as much as my main) Staff were very accomodating and didn't bother us during our meal :)

Every dish I've ordered from here theres no comparison to some of the Indian restaurants and take away, they will even accommodate changes to your dish and the naan is soooooo fresh ! Well worth a try !

It's very difficult to put into words just how incredible my dining experience was just now. I like a vindaloo, but I need a vindaloo to taste. It's an experience. All at the same time, my mouth scorched, I sweat, I had goosebumps, and the attack on the old tastebuds was unrelenting. The rice, the keema naan, not to mention the amazing chicken tikka entree were just off scale. Couple that with the brilliant, and refreshingly genuine hospitality...what an evening. And I was on my own. Single life isn't meant to be this pleasurable. Raj Pavillion made it so. Five stars I don't dish out freely. For this place I've no hesitation.

Getting good quality Indian food in Hull is not easy. But Raj Pavilion almost meets the bill. On top helpful staff. Once I requested large about take away food for a party during a February morning and they decided to come early to prepare it for us.

Without doubt this is the best Indian I have visited. The food is excellent, and full of flavour. The layout of the place allows the staff to be efficient, but never in the way. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is not the cheapest Indian in the area, but it is well worth the extra money.

Turned up at 4.50 on Christmas day ( just before closing ) and had one of the best Indian meals we have ever had, the staff were all friendly and went that extra mile. Can't wait for Burnley to play Hull next time just for the meal . Well done all the staff .

It was just ok. Food nothing special - not much meat in dishes and curry was fairly bland. The waiter was slow at taking our order we ended up going over our order 5 times before he got it right. I won't be going back there in a rush.
