Excellent read some good reviews about it when we went it was better than expected nice quirky place good decor and plenty to look at . It's not the biggest place so it gets busy very quickly definitely need to book if going . The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you quick service not the biggest choice on the menu but foods really good and hot nice portions. Plenty of cocktails to choose from they are even better than the food. There a few big tables so can get a few round them definitely going back

Absolutely amazing food! The flavours and quality is just sublime. I recommend the Zombie cocktail! Service is spot on. We dined outside with our dog and they brought us a bowl and actually seemed happy to be serving people which is a rarity these days.

Such a gem! Love everything about this place! Authentic decor, great atmosphere, delicious food, very good drinks and attentive service. A must when you're in Hull! We had jerk shrimp, arawak king shrimp and curry goat and everything was spot on. Highly recommend flaming zombie cocktail 🍹we tried few others and they were all very good. Such a shame we live so far away that would've been our favourite restaurant.

This has always been a five star for me, but after the last order I would have given it a one star. I order the £50 deal every month which comes with 2x starters 2x mains 2x sides and 4x cocktails. I may give it another try but me and my wife really didn't enjoy the food for once. We ordered the brown chicken stew which is usually beautiful, but this time was very watery. I had the meatball starter which came with no sauce. Every other time it's come with a generous amount of sauce. The meatballs were really dry. The fishcake my wife ordered she said was alright but no where near as good as before. The sweet potato fries arrived cold. The cocktails weren't too bad apart from the fact one of the cups had a split in so we only had half of one of the cocktails. The sides weren't as good as they usually are, plantain fritters and dumplings. The dumplings weren't cooked enough, had a raw texture and the plantain was pretty hard, normally they are super soft. Pretty let down and I really hope it's a one off.

Delicious and good value Jamaican themed bar with tasty food and great cocktail deals. I never go wrong by asking the barman for his recommendation of a tasty rum cocktail - from a classic Dark & Stormy to a quirky Dandy Sailor, they have never failed to please. The colourful surroundings have a beach rum shack feel. The food tastes of real ingredients with a kick of Carribbean heat. A seriously good place to hang out.

Value for money, still gave 50% off, so great value. Under £15 for 2 really good portioned meals. I would have given 5 stars but I had to send my meal back as I like my rice hot. The restaurant had a good feal and real reggae music. The restaurant also followed current guidelines and will definitely go back.

Great place, good food, affordable price, friendly staff. The manager came to our table and welcomed us, notice the card we gave to Gill & Alan and asked what was the occasion. Informed him it's their 51st wedding anniversary. We had a good laugh about married life, then he gave us free cocktail drinks. Wonderful place, will go there again.

Love this place, food and cocktails are amazing. Staff are great too, only downside is music can be too loud during the day so can't really hear each other chat at the table. Great atmosphere and music though even at night when it's more of a bar.

Portions are generous. Had the goat curry which was really tasty and very tender. Little bit salty for me but that's me. Son had ribs and chicken which went down pretty fast so must have been really good. Atmosphere was relaxed somewhere where you can just kick back and chill.

Really tasty food, well cooked, and nicely priced. Gluten free options were available and the wait staff are very well knowledged about gluten intolerance and coeliac disease, I felt safe eating there as a coeliac and enjoyed it a lot! No symptoms afterwards, so I'm very pleased.

This will always be a top spot in Hull. Excellent service coupled with the best wings I've ever had. The Jamaican vibe inspires the decor, drinks, and food. It's loud, and it's busy, but if you know this going in, you will have a stellar time here.

It's alright. The food I have in there varies wildly on a day-to-day basis it seems. The same goea for the cocktails, these can be pretty much hit and miss when it comes to their preparation. I just feel like the whole experience could be done better.
