Had fish cake starters, lovely. Thom ya soup is spicy sour and filling. Also had the soft shell crab yellow curry, bit out there but also great.

M.Visited tonight with my husband and daughter, after reading the excellent reviews was still apprehensive, but honestly was so satisfied, out of the three different mains, every player had it's own unique taste, excellent food, the place is nothing fancy but the food is unreal. The front of house staff were super friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend. Fabulous. Please go and experience this place, prices were perfect for the quality.

As a Malaysian, Thailand is somewhere close to home and I have been loving thai cuisine. This restaurant serves excellent thai milk tea with strong tea taste, we ordered gang panaeng (curry), pad ga prao (stir fry meat dish with holy basil), Tom kha ( coconut milk creamy version of Tom yum soup). Believe it or not, I have no complaints of any dish that I ordered today, only satisfaction and big smile walking out the restaurant.
Restaurant does not have many tables so do mind that it can get busy during meal times.
E. R.We had the shared banquet for 2 & we had to take the Pad Thai home. I love Thai food but this place is really special. Only a small cafe-style place but the food is perfect. You can see the chef at work in her kitchen. Beautiful, tasty food, lovely staff. I will certainly be going back xxx

The chef herself took our order and our food was ready within 15 minutes and the quality of the food was so delicious. We also order 5 dishes which all came very quick. The menu on the web implies that the only drinks they serve are non-alcoholic (and I had previously cancelled a booking because of this), but this is misleading - they serve wine and Asian bottled beers. Food on Sunday in the Old Town was elusive, so we went to Tanyalak and were not disappointed.

T. W.First time using just eat and wanted some healthy food as away in a hotel, had the Phad Ga Prao crispy belly pork option and tod man pla for starter. The main course came with Thai jasmine rice included. Fantastic flavours of Thai holy basil (mild aniseed flavour) in the crispy belly pork dish and plenty of fresh crisp vegetables. Would use again if in the area, but I highly recommend anyone reading this gives it a try! P.s. the restaurant delivery chap was also very polite.

Just had the first decent spicy restaurant served dish I've had in over 4 months, and it was so worth the wait. (I've ordered their take away, but it's just not the same)
They're taking table bookings, cleaning between guests, wearing masks, ensuring guests sanitise their hands, they have separated tables, they're cooking whilst wearing visors, and generally doing everything possible to keep everyone as safe as can be expected.
I felt safe.
I've eaten their amazing food (thanks Pong).
I've missed them!

The portions are always just right but its the flavours that you can really savour here whether is a red or green thai curry, a panang or a creamy massaman. L. D.The food on the dinner time was lovely but we ordered a takeaway on the night and was disappointed with some of the dishes. The salad we got was £7 + but it was only the size of a side salad. We asked for the dishes not to spicy but they were so strong in chilli and the shredded chicken was real dry. I think the order was misunderstood as the phone is near the kitchen which is noisy so difficult to hear and understand. It's a shame as it is usually good food and service and usually all done fresh to order

T. K.What a hidden gem! Absolutely love this place and have been a couple of times now trying different things from the menu. Everything’s super tasty and really well priced. The restaurant is small but has a lovely atmosphere and the lady who cooks is really personable. Chicken satay is great, as is the Tom yum soup, there’s another soup similar maybe to a pho? That’s my favourite by far.
I did get takeaway once though and was slightly disappointed, the food didn’t travel brilliantly (but I had got crispy chicken and a salad). Would always recommend going in and enjoying this place!

L. S.Room was smallish and fairly basic, received a warm welcome and service was fine. We were a group of five and had starters, mains and sweets. All of the dishes were well reviewed. I had fish cakes followed by seabass and finally banana fritter, all were great especially seabass.
