S. L.Met up with a few friends for a birthday meal.. I had slow cooked beef it was very tender and tasty followed by vanilla cheesecake which was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly.

Food is what it is pizza wasn't the best seemed like a Chicago town pizza I do t know why it wasn't sliced just got served this rock hard pizza that moves every where when you tried to cut it. The daughter had the curry platter she liked it but the bhajis was on the darker side. It's cheap so can't complain but a few tweaks here and there could be better

H. W.Booked table using app and arrived on time but had to wait quite some time at the roped off entrance for someone to take us to a table. (We were not in a queue). We ordered our food and drinks again using the app. The whole process was easy and the pumped up salad with chicken and bacon I ordered was excellent. The fish and chips was also well received. There was very little wait for the food and the service was very good. Overall excellent value with all people socially distanced with a relaxed atmosphere.

L. H.Honestly not a bad place overall, but there is certainly room for improvement.
A lot of the menu comes on a "sizzling skillet" which is a nice little gimmick and it adds a bit of intrigue. There's a lot of choice, but at our table we had the Double Gammon, a roast dinner, chicken fajitas, a sirloin steak and a chicken & ribs combo. Everything was cooked well and was tasty enough, but the portions were larger than average.
Value for money was good with the total for a main and a drink each being around £10 per head. Staff were polite but not overly friendly. A pleasant experience for a Sunday afternoon, but it's not gonna change your world.

M. N.This place is a perfect place to go for a pub lunch. I live outside Hull but come visit often to see family and we always meet up here for a meal together (all 10 of us!). There is a wide variety of food available, and the prices of both the food and the drinks at the bar are very reasonable. As I said, great atmosphere for a get together meal, the hot food is always actually served hot, and the time between ordering your food and having it in front of you is not that long at all. The staff are friendly and welcoming and it makes for a great environment. Will definitely visit again, with all the family in tow!

d. d.Straight forward pub, plenty of different drinks offers and a good selection of drinks. Didn't eat here though and seeing loads of half empty plates go back did make us wonder why. Next time we will see if the food is any good as I know people who say the food is good here.
