I had lunch here, the staff were great and the restaurant was nice and alot bigger than I remember. The menu was very comprehensive, with tons of choice. We all ordered baguettes, when they arrived they were warm and the toppings plentiful the portions were huge with chips salad and coleslaw. The coffee was great. Overall as lovely meal in a great location only negative the men's toilet compared with the ladies!

Been coming to this restaurant for the last 46 yrs and seen a lot of changes and different owners. The thing that has been constant is the high quality of service and lovely food. On Saturday I had chef's special of risotto and lemon and garlic grilled chicken breast. It simply was the best risotto I have tasted in a long while. My husband had a spicy Turkish sausage omelette with jacket potato and salad which he said was very good. We both had filter coffee plus 2 free cups and we found the price of the meal very reasonable. We highly recommend this establishment.

On entering we were pleased to be offered our choice of available tables. To the right was a busier area with music, and to the left, a calmer area. This suited us and some other groups already chatting quietly. The decor was impressive. More importantly the food was excellent. I enjoyed the Atlantic omelette with rhubarb crumble and custard (which can be over-sweet, but wasn't) to follow. Quite impressed.

Oh dear, when there’s a big show at Hull New Theatre and the restaurant is only minutes away trust me you will be busy and you were but unfortunately your kitchen staff couldn’t cope! Your waitresses were lovely but just stood about taking complaints because b peoples food wasn’t ready before they had to leave! We came into your restaurant just after half past five yesterday evening and we left at 7.15pm after having to ‘bolt’ our main course down, others weren’t quite so lucky in that their food never even hit the table. I’ve read so many good reviews about this place but do yourselves a favour expand your kitchen on busy nights or don’t book in as many people or your reviews will not be favourable. The starters we had were superb but please get some one in your kitchen that can actually make a good omelette! Well done to the girls who tried to hold it together, you were very much let down!

What a gem of a restaurant! When w first visited some years ago we thought it was just a cafe. Oh no! It's a wonderful licensed Mediterranean restaurant with a fabulous extensive menu from breakfasts and sandwiches to full three course meals. Never had a bad meal here, and the staff have always been lovely and friendly. Highly recommend.

I’ve always wanted to visit this restaurant but just never have. Until today. I had a spare hour so popped in. Omelettes are one of my favourite dishes and the chef happily agreed to make my preferred omelette - chicken, cheese & chilli. Even though it was made to order, I didn’t have to wait long. It was absolutely delicious and also very large (I was worried it would be too small!). I also had a cappuccino, which was a really generous size and came with a pack of Lotus Biscoff biscuits - who knew they did a Belgian Chocolate version?! Beautiful. On top of all that, the waiting staff were so friendly, attentive and professional. I can’t believe I left it so long to visit but I’ll certainly be back!

One of those pleasant eateries that is from a bygone time, very popular with the older crowd and not full of screeching children. No one appears in a rush to see you gone. It has a varied and extensive menu.

Went in for lunch and ordered steak wrap ....when it arrived it looked lovely but after a couple of bites I sent it back . It was tasteless and fatty. When I returned it they were going to do another but I asked for a jacket potatoe instead as I couldn't of stomached another steak wrap . The replacement meal was lovely but service could of been a little more better ...I ordered a filter coffee which had free refills and I had to ask for a refill ....which the staff should of been the ones to ask me . The place wasnt full or busy . It wouldn't put me off going again but I wouldn't have the steak wrap....

First time we have dined out since covid went into Omelette sign asking diners to use hand sanitizer. Tables spaced apart to accommodate social distancing. Waitress greeted us with a smile and led us to a table asked if she could get us any drinks will we looked through the menus also asked us for contact details. We all got sandwiches which came with salad and chips ample portions and very tasty the meal and service was excellent will go back again Would recommend

Fabulous Lunch options and rapid service, making it easy on a lunch hour. Perfect to meet friends and easy to find (opposite central library). I had the Halloumi wrap with rustic chips, one of my vegetarian guilty pleasures, and it was delicious. Great coffee too!

We love this place! So much so that I bought a pram that would fold up small so we could eat here without worrying about space and other pushchair/wheelchair user's needs. The customer service is fantastic! Always have time for us and everyone else. Food is great! Love the omelette and baked potato meal along with the chicken and bacon avocado salad. Rang up last minute for a table and they squeeze us in. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious recommend the moussaka ! Decided to have a quick mid afternoon snack here, price was fair and the food was good, had chicken and bacon baguette with some holumi and the wife had soup of the day! Was pretty tasty, little disappointed with the drinks tho, the coke was flat and the wife's strawberry milkshake was a poor effort really was basically milk and nesquik. Other than the drinks atmosphere was nice and quiet and cosy.

Came here for breakfast. Whilst ordering breakfast i ordered full english but didn't want egg, so i asked if i could substitute the egg for toast, the waitress said "you do know the breakfast comes with toast"...obviously not as it didn't say anything on the menu. I then said well can i swap my egg for something else that i am already having or even mushrooms...to our shock she wanted to charge me extra for a substitute to my eggs. ordered something different in end. Then our coffees arrived and they were COLD,...not a great start to the day at all.

Just had a breakfast delivery, the food arrived on time, food was good, but we ordered fried and poached eggs, only got well done poached eggs. Sausage missing and only got half a mushroom each, toast was soggy, but as mentioned before the food we had was good
