Despite the fact that we came when no one was there, but in any case, the waiters treated us very carefully, heard our wishes, because we have one person who does not eat meat, in general, the second person does not eat meat, I eat bacon and pork and asked us to do it separately. It was all done and moreover, We did not have to wait long, all the food was very tasty and we really liked the girl who served us and always smiled at us, not in every restaurant you can get such attention and care, which surprised us very much that we only only paid 58 pounds for it, which in fact, I also asked again if we paid everything correctly, because maybe you didn’t pay something on the bill, we were told that everything was correct, Therefore, in any case, we stayed very Satisfied and we will go there again.

Came here yesterday for a nice sit down with a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was as brilliant as always, very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks came very quickly. Absolutely brilliant service like usual. Would definitely recommend and come again!

Came here today for lunch, Sonia was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pink lemonade was delicious and the service was perfect. I love the atmosphere in here and the customer service is always brilliant. Best place to go for a meal in town if you want a an intimate and relaxed meal with friends or family.

Food was tasty once it had arrived. Service slow on both drinks and then the food too. No staff in masks which most other restaurants currently do, doesn't bother me but would some so worth considering. Waitress constantly calling us 'Darling' and 'my darlings' felt really over the top but again some people like that sort of thing I guess. I wouldn't rush back but overall a pleasant enough time had here with family.

We had an early breakfast on a Sunday.. it opens at 0900 and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Hot drinks arrived within a decent time and once the food was ordered it didn't take long either. I had a full English breakfast it wasn't bad, two people chose pancakes enjoyable and one with toast and jam.. toast with full English and jam was soda bread which was really nice. Hash browns are perfect I only got one egg but it was also perfect.. brown sauce came within a small dipping pot. The full experience was good overall.. on leaving staff said bye which was a nice touch.

For the first time, I saw that pornstarmartini was made with orange juice and dried oranges were added to garnish. When I told the supervisor who served us; “they are extremely sour”. She replied; “I wonder if you know how to make pornstarmartini?” Yes! She asked me what ingredients I use to make pornstarmartini :) and she left, frankly she left the table without even caring or suggesting anything. Then I called another waiter and asked for our cocktails to be changed, unfortunately the new ones which was expresso martini - coconut eclair and they were more deplorable. I usually don't make any bad comments about the places I go, doesn’t matter how bad was my experience, but this time this lady has shown the behavior that makes me write this comment. They have taken the cocktails off the bill but we didn’t drink them anyway. I still paid extra on top of the bill to make it even. My point is place you order your cocktails doesn’t make that much difference about the cocktails all almost same, but is how and who makes it makes the difference!

Beautiful exterior and interior building with awesome food to boot. Mid to high range pricing, but the portions are generous without being over the top. Plenty of draught beer and cocktails to choose from. I believe they have daily specials every day. Save room for dessert!

I came in for breakfast on a cold snowy morning to warm me up. The decor of this place suits the name quite well. It appears to be set mainly around the 30s era and feels quite homely, it was nice and warm inside as well. We got seated and seen to quickly, our hot drinks came in a good time with our food taking a little longer, we didn't have to wait long, 15-20 minutes at most. I ordered the cosy club breakfast and had a choice of egg, poached, fried or scrambled, I opted for the scrambled egg. Our server was friendly, chatty and polite and would have gone out of his way to help. The food was presented nicely, the beans came in a little gravy boat, which is a nice touch for those who don't like bean sauce on the rest of the breakfast (I tipped mine straight onto the plate). I was a little disappointed with the scrambled egg, it was quite dry and the portion size was pretty small. The toast came pre-buttered, it was still pretty dry and needed more butter, it would have been nice to have had the butter come with the breakfast. I would definitely go again for breakfast. It's a nice place to sit and look around at the decor and images on the walls. Next time I'll avoid the scrambled egg though and opt for the poached.

Amazing place to stop for brunch. I was taken here on Father’s Day. Staff are very friendly and went the extra mile to look after our table. The Shakshuka is amazing. As soon as it hit the table I knew I had made the right menu choice. I will be returning to try so other dishes.

We went to a cosy club in Liverpool last year and it was extraordinary and we finally had the chance to enjoy one down south. Well it didn't disappoint the food was as good as we remembered and the surroundings were just as warm and inviting as before. You'll find yourself sitting at your table looking at all of the weird and wonderful art in the walls (think old hunting lodge or stately home). Firstly the drinks were two refreshing mocktails (rosehip raspberry iced tea and a pink lemonade) and then for dinner we enjoyed some tapas dishes, we ordered a total of 6. The highlights were the sesame chicken, the Mediterranean salad and chicken & chorizo on potatoes. To finish we stayed with the sharing theme and had the sharing dessert which included brownie (to die for) donuts and lemon posset. Can't wait for one to open in Chelmsford

Honestly the whole team at the Ipswich branch are fantastic. We always get a warm welcome, I don't know everyone's names but it's nice to be remembered after so long away. It's like visiting friends with the perfect balance of friendliness & professionalism. Its absolutely my favourite place for cocktails and that's mostly based on the customer service being so great.

Lovely deco.Very different and cosy!Lovely atmosphere. It was buzzing. Me and my friends went there for a meal 2 days before Xmas. Lots of people had Xmas parties there.Everybody was enjoying themselves.Staff could not be more helpful and friendly. It was our first time there. We loved it!Food was lovely.Two of us had chicken burgers which were gorgeous! Other friend had a chiken breast wrapped in bacon, which she was was lovely and juicy!

This is a wonderful place to visit. The style is 1920's to 1930's with the staff dressed accordingly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. There is a large selection of seating areas and types. I chose a sofa and sank into the squishy cushions. A small touch, but it made a difference to me - their hand sanitiser smells amazing! I can't comment on the food as haven't yet eaten there but it looked good. The drinks menu is well priced and the service was excellent. I will visit again and try the food next time.

Went in on the 13th of November for lunch. I was greeted very friendly - unsure on his name. I was served by Sonia, she is very smiley and down to earth… helping us chose cocktails based on preference. Great food! Lovely cocktails! I will definitely come again!

This is generally one of my favourite spots to unwind in after a day at work. Cocktails are wicked and the food is incredible. Special mentions to Sonia, Ash, Josh & Johnny. All really welcoming and attentive. I asked for the chefs name and was told Owen and Trevor were working. Again, the standards are very high. It's great to see a team so cohesive and proud of what they deliver and offer.

My partner and I both had the chicken chorizo starter which was nice but tbh, I've had this before and both times it was very almost cold. It'd be great if they simply kept the food hot as it was very flavoursome. Same with our main which was the lamb shoulder.

Have been here many times before, and always had a good time and lovely food. Today however, was a new level of greatness, updated menu and dining area! Just enjoyed the Butchers Brunch….the Rosties are absolutely amazing, full of flavour with a nice delicate crunch to the outside and the spiced ham hock beans have just the right balance of smokiness and spice. Of course bacon and sausages are a given, but these too were amazing!! Highly recommend!

I was really impressed with the level of professionalism and personal experience I shared with my guests. Sonia really made me feel at home. She was attentive and friendly throughout the entire night and always made sure that everything was to standard. I ordered the pork belly and asked who the chef was and I was told it was Owen. The pork belly was incredible and I was really impressed with the quality. Sonia despite appearing busy, she really made time for me and my guests and made sure that we were being heard at all times. I will be back again due to the service, atmosphere and the quality of the food.

Me and my fiance had lunch here today. My fiance ordered the butcher's brunch and I ordered the house burger with a Mac and cheese side. The service was excellent, very polite and welcoming and our order was taken very quickly, all the staff are friendly and all very smily and happy. The place in general has a very comforting and relaxed feel, goes well with the name of the place. There was a little bit of a wait for our order, but I must say the food was more then worth it. To be honest I was actually pretty impressed with my burger as it couldn't have been made nor presented better, the burger was cook medium/well done which carried the seasoning very well stacked in with a very fresh salad and a toasted brioche bun and it was so tasty, I'd say the best burger I've had in a long time! The slaw was separate on the plate which keeps the bun dry and fresh, and I'm not one to rave about slaw but it was so fresh and flavourful. The Mac and cheese side was also done to perfection and tasted really fresh. My fiance's meal was also cooked to perfection everything was delicious, I think the only thing she wasn't to keen on was the rosties, but was a bonus for me as I thought they were lovely haha It was a great experience and would defiantly recommend this place for a tasty fresh meal, will hopefully return in the near future! Thanks for a delicious meal! My 4* is really a 4.5*

I went to the cosy club for brunch yesterday morning. I needed to use the lift to access it via the 1st floor in the butter market as I use a mobility scooter.Unfortunately the main lift only goes up to the 1st floor when the Empire cinema is open.I was taken to the other lift but it was out of action.The managers at the cosy club were extremely helpful.They helped get my scooter and shopping up the steps and into the building and they locked it away and got it down the steps for me when leaving.Fortunately I am able to walk short distances and climb the stairs although it increases my pain levels.I was shown to my table straight away,the waitress came over with water and took my order for a drink whilst I waited for my friend.All the staff were extremely polite and friendly and the service was excellent. The food was lovely.This is my 2nd visit to the Cosy club and I can honestly say it's my favourite place to go for a meal.The decor and atmosphere is very nice. I would like to add the managers were not aware that the main lift does not go up to the 1st floor when the cinema is closed and I believe they are going to look into this.

Thank you for giving us such a perfect evening! Had to make the last minute decision to take my one year old along tonight and was concerned how it’s turn out but thanks to the amazing people who work at cozi club she was kept occupied most of the time with lots of crayons to draw with !! It was really nice to feel welcomed and we felt exactly that and was repeatedly reassured by the kind gestures of the staff. My daughter had such a nice time which means a lot to us especially because most of her life has been during the lockdown and this was one of the rarest of occasions for her . The food was as the name suggests very cozy!! I had pork belly for the main and can’t believe how smoothly it cut through , but the star food for me has to be the vanilla martini . Lovely place, amazing atmosphere and staff are really pleasant, food was delicious but small portions, cant complain as I went during the "eat out to help out" scheme, so 2 adults and 2 children ate for £24 which was very cheap. But in normal circumstances I would not pay nearly £50 for what we had, hopefully the portions were made smaller due to the half price scheme (not greedy but my partners steak came with 5 chips...) Overall a lovely experience

I have been here many times, most recently on my own with my baby. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the food is great too. It's a very large place, and good for a quick work lunch, a nice meal out or simply a coffee. It's quick service, so ideal for restricted lunch hours. Highly recommend Cosy Club!

Wo, what a cool place. Absolutely delicious food and great mocktails - I couldn't tell I was going alcohol free. We had our office Christmas party here and it was the perfect atmosphere. Everyone was thrilled with their food and the staff could not have been more helpful especially when it came to paying....I know as I'd paid the deposit and the waiter went out of his way to ensure the payment worked out for everyone. Superb place for a drink or fun gathering with friends who appreciate a great and varied menu.

One of my favourite places. We had a lovely meal here yesterday. The pan fried chicken was incredible and my partner loved the buttermilk chicken. The staff were so friendly as always, absolutely love it here! Would recommend.

I love this place. On the occasion that has resulted in Google inviting this review, a mate and I had just popped in for a drink but I've eaten here before. The standard of service is always excellent. (My friend ordered a pint of the real ale and the barman insisted on pulling off another pint first, as the pump hadn't been used recently and he wanted to ensure that the beer he served was at its very best). Although it's part of a chain, the place has a very distinctive character, which is further enhanced by the friendly and efficient staff. The food is always very good and sensibly priced. (A veggie friend of mine likes it too). Well worth a visit!

Love Love Love it here... atmosphere is relaxed and all staff are very welcoming. Only downside was that our plates didn't get cleared for almost 25 mins after finishing eating (in the dining area), however most of my time in there is usually spent at the bar area with a coffee. Background music is spot on & the decor inside is unique. A really great place to visit.

I have visited before for drinks with my husband before and had a lovely evening, however last night a visited with 4 girlfriends and we were very disappointed. We had booked so no problem being seated, as we were seated the server began to tell us that several items on the menu were no longer avaliable. We arrived at 19:45 so not exactly late diners. Unfortunately things didn't improve foodwise, A friend ordered croquettes only to then be told there was no goats cheese but she could have them with halloumi, she changed her order. Once the food arrived it was just disappointing for the atmosphere and the price I expected more. I had the brisket burger, which wasn't actually brisket but steak (I was made aware of this before ordering) and the truffle & stilton mayo was bland none of the blue cheese punch I was expecting and no where near enough salad... We all agreed we had had better burgers elsewhere. A few of meals the weren't very warm either. Dessert was okay, I wouldn't rave about it we had a sharer the portions were unequal and we had a malted biscuit on our lemon posset rather than shortbread. We were given bread and oil to compensate for the avaliablity issues, and my friend's cold burger was deducted from the bill which was nice of them as it wasn't requested. The service was great, our server Steven was lovely, I cant fault him at all it was a difficult situation as all of the issues were beyond his control. I probably wouldn't go back for food, but definitely go for the cocktails! They are amazing!
