I think this has to be the best Chinese I’ve ever ate at hands down. I went for a works do, there was around 10 of us, we was seated at a huge table, in the middle of the table there is a spinning platform so your able to get food dishes from the other side without having to lean over or ask people, this is a great idea I’m surprised I haven’t seen it anywhere before. Great staff really friendly, I would happily return in a heart beat!

Booked this restaurant for my daughter’s birthday meal. Wonderful staff contributed to a perfect night for her making her feel very special with little touches (happy birthday messages on the table and candle in the ice cream accompanied by a birthday song….all of their own doing without being asked. A fantastic chinese experience! The food was cooked to order, great for couples, friends and family! The food was full of flavour and did not skimp on quantity! 100% recommend if you are intending going for food before seeing a show at the theatre! Fun family friendly all you can eat restaurant. However food not particularly good. Staff were pretty friendly but I agree with other reviews that they were bizarrely keen to get us to order lots of starters. This resulted in us ordering way too much food and not finishing our mains. Very much an anglicised Chinese menu, might not have all the items you'd expect from an authentic Chinese restaurant. Quality of food itself not great. E.g. in the starters, fairly sure one of the dishes contained pre-cooked chicken and the veg. spring rolls seemed to only contain cabbage.

Friendly, helpful and attentive staff and lovely food. If you have a show afterwards then let them know as they will make sure you get there on time. You can also ask for chopsticks as they are not always on table and geat fun to try.

The best Chinese restaurant for a pre theatre meal. We were well looked after, the staff were friendly and helpful and Mr Wing himself came to our table several times to check we were happy with the food and brought us a few new dishes he thought we might like to try. We are vegetarian and I must say that every effort was made to check ingredients and allergies, etc. All in all a perfect relaxed pre theatre meal, well timed and a wonderful experience. Mr Wings cares about his restaurant and is proud of his reputation and certainly goes the extra mile to please his customers. Very pleased.

Service was second to none, the food was sensational, fresh and packed full of flavour. We opted for the all you can eat, the staff made recommendations and encouraged us to order as much as we wanted. No rush, lovely atmosphere and simply cannot wait to return. Good knowledge of food by the server who was able to easily accommodate. Did not go hungry. Very nice. Quite quick service. There was antibac on each table and some screens had been put up to try and provide some protection. Food was lovely. Loads of choices, quantity and taste. My only small issue was not much choice for dessert however given how much we had for starter and main I doubt they get much take up for dessert. Lol.

Genuinely the best Chinese I have had, capital pork chunks are unreal. Service is spot on and I cannot understand why anyone would go anywhere else for a nice Chinese meal out. To be really overly picky, the chicken is sometimes a little watery but it's really not an issue.

Mr Wing! What's happened? Mr. Wing has been one of our mainstays for Chinese food for years. Always go there before a show next door at the Regent. Had some nice Chinese New Years there too..... And I Love the menu concept: easy, filling, varied, tasty, reasonable price. But the food has been poor on the last two occasions, and the service even worse. So the last two-times at the Regent our little gang of theatre-goers went for a very nice Indian meal instead. But the evening-out tradition for us is Mr. Wing, not curry.....so we miss you! Please sort it soon! UPDATE 2020. I can happily report that Mr Wing is back to its usual high standard of food and service. Well done to the management for taking remedial action. We've been there several times since, all very good. So I ve upgraded my rating from 2* to 5* once again. 👍👍
