I went here with my family recently and I couldn’t praise the staff any higher, in particular the manager on the day (who I believe was Tom). We had a lovely meal celebrating my Birthday, food was delicious, but unfortunately towards the end of our meal my mothers health took a turn for the worse and we ended up having to phone for an ambulance. Tom and his team helped during this traumatic time and also shielded my children from the events. I am extremely grateful to them for this!! (Thankfully my mother made a full recovery.)

Great service. Ordered food and it came in 9 minutes and it was busy. Food tasted amazing! Highly recommend the al forno pasta dishes and the starter of large meatballs (3). Only thing to improve on would be the size of their pizzas. Family members ordered both regular and large pizzas and the large are really no bigger. The dough is stretched out so it's thinner and looks longer but not worth the extra money.

I love the place, the setting was on point😍 The atmosphere was nice and calm, the selection choice of music was spot on. Scenery was perfect. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable with regards to the different types of dishes they do. Also advised us different types of promotions they had. ( even though we were advised, we could use our taste card by another waitress before placing are order which I found pretty poor. Surely you would think member of staff would know what offers and promotions you can use of certain days🤨 cause of that I have to give 4 stars. I had enjoyyself and would use them again in the near future.

Great location, lovely vibe in the restaurant. I was there with 3 colleagues, we were comfortably seated. It was quite busy but surprisingly served quickly, our food arrived not long after we ordered. Service was efficient and friendly. There was a range of customers, families, couples and friends etc. I would say it is child friendly. All in all great service, food and venue. The quality of the food was fantastic. We had a table of four and had the Weekday Classics special: 2 courses for £10. For starters we had the garlic bread and giant meatballs. Garlic bread: two slices of soft, doughy bread topped with a sprinkle of garlic and a dollop of butter. Very nice flavour. Giant meatballs: 3 large, soft and juicy meatballs topped with a tomato sauce and finely grated cheese. Succulent and flavoursome. The starters are quite big portions, so will fill you up easily with the mains. For mains we had the traditional lasagne and a bolognese pizza with chilli. Lasagne: to die for was one expression. One of the best tasting lasagnes ever and this is just like a homemade one were other comments made. Bolognese and chilli pizza: a wonderfully tasty topping on a soft, thin crust dough. Ever so easy to eat. All told a wonderful evening out with fantastic tasting food and such great value for money. Totally recommend a visit.

Great food and service good but this Prezzo has a habit of turning people away when they're busy, even though they have plenty of empty tables. This had happened to us three times in the past. Clearly can't cope with the number of covers they have. Best visiting when it's almost empty.

Another enjoyable visit to this establishment. Terrific pizza (the smaller/healthy version with a beautiful side salad). Excellent service experienced from the attentive staff. Having a voucher for the main course helped to cut the cost. Strongly recommended.

Excellent service! We booked Prezzo Ipswich for a small birthday celebration for 8 people. Table was ready for when we arrived. Restaurant is clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Service was very good from all the staff. They brought out our birthday cake when we asked and let us decorate the table with birthday bits and pieces. Food was fantastic, well presented and prepared promptly. Everyone enjoyed the evening!

Visited twicw last week and just as our other visits to Prezzo for lunch everyone left happy and full. We had groups of 5 on 22/8/18 and 3 on 24/8/18. The restaurant is clean, light, and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. They have highchairs and kids activity sheets. So whether you have a baby, older children, or want to go out on date night, Prezzo has you covered. The starters, mains, and sides were all very tasty. The calamari is so good my son only ever orders this starter as so many places we visit to dine get it wrong so he avoids it even though it's his favourite food. The mains have always been served piping hot, looking great, and very tasty with one exception. The chicken breast and mushrooms, although it was hot and tasty, it looked quite unappealing. The joy of the flavour and the perfectly cooked chicken soon made me forget how it looked. The risotto (both prawn and mushroom) are very tasty. The pork belly is melt in the mouth beautiful. The sea bass is fantastically moist, with a beautiful crisp skin. I could go on and on. In conclusion the food is great and worth every penny, if you have a voucher it's a bargain. On to the service, I have to say the service has only been a miss on one visit. They have some wonderful serving staff who genuinely deliver the best service to every customer on every visit no matter if they are busy or not. I have come across only 1 server who I don't think was up to the usual standard for Prezzo. She wasnt rude, but seemed stand offish and disinterested; however that was a one off and normally we have excellent service so we will absolutely be going back. Really nice staff, very friendly. Food was yummy too, although the burger my partner ordered had mayo in it which it didn't say on the menu, luckily he isn't allergic to anything, just dislikes mayo, but might be worth asking if you have allergies!

Decent town centre Italian restraint. Worth a visit, though booking ahead if in a larger party (3+) is highly recommended. Not really suitable for very small children, though a good atmosphere and patient, highly competent staff.

This was the first time i have been to Prezzo. It is a lovely place, however the wait staff seem a little pushy. As soon as a bottle was empty they would come over to take it. Or as soon as my partner was finished with his starter and the cutlery just barely touched down on the plate the staff would be there to take the plate. Because of the amount of times they came over we felt like we were constantly being interrupted. Over all my experience felt rushed and like we were being watched. Maybe they like to be on top of everything and to have great customer service but we felt like we couldnt relax throughout. They didnt have certain ingredients so we had a limited option to choose from with drinks and food.

Starter was excellent (Had mushrooms & cheesy garlic bread). Main was was very average (i had the traditional lasagna). Service wasn't particularly good, but also wasn't terrible. Some of the staff didn't seem too happy and came across very clinical. Food did come out in good time (no long waiting). Overall, it wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't personally recommend Prezzo to a friend and I wasn't nearly impressed enough to want to return. Just an average experience for me.

The food is really nice there. I especially love their caramelized onion and goat cheese pizza and their pasta al forno. I think it's the best Italian restaurant I've tried so far in Ipswich. You can also sign up to their website and get a discount on your meal.
