After four or five visits its OKAY. If you are in the mood for the style of food and on the fly. Firstly we've always found it very clean, glasses, tables, cutlery etc, so that's good. It's a nice atmosphere/decor etc. The staff or service etc I have always found to be down to earth, casual, friendly and efficient. Its the food that's just really very average and doesn't taste authentic at all. From experience the starters are MUCH better than the mains. The dumplings are lovely. But in general we have had far better results elsewhere or cooking at home for less cost with better quality ingredients and MORE herbs and spices that bring the more authentic flavour than served here. For example the katsu chicken curry to be honest just tastes like a birds eye frozen chicken piece covered in a powder/mix sauce. It's served with 'sticky rice' but it's just an over cooked pile of mush at the end of the day. The ramen with crispy belly pork tasted clean and fresh so fair enough. But it just wasn't multi layered with flavour like you would hope. There wasn't much of the pork either for the price you pay. The highlight of the last visit was the rose lemonade which was just gorgeous. So all in all. Not really worth the money and I don't feel the need to try it any more. But okay if you are in a rush I guess.

Visited for the first time, overall a decent place with few hits and couple of misses. Chicken Yakitori and hoisin duck buns from the sides were good, pork gyoza wasn't impressive. From the mains Yaki Udon was delicious and they accomodated to replace the noodles with thin noodles, but firecracker prawn was way too hot to handle :) Refreshing drinks were good too. Service is good and fast, staffs are friendly.

Fantastic place, the staff very attentive and not over bearing, knowledgeable about ingredients and allergies. Always have a lovely meal here. Made even better last night with the government scheme, we had a lovely meal. We have the vegan menu and thats great for us. The kids enjoy their rice and katsu curry. Service is always good and food is always brought to us as soon as ready. Super yummy and very much look forward to the next time again. It was a very very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The portions and sizes were my problem. I was still hungry after the meal. Also, the drinks in the pictures are a size large which was a little disappointing. Overall, it wasn’t the cheapest meal but it was worth from how tasty it was.

Just had my first ever Wagamama (believe it or not), and I must say this is the most amazing food I ever had! I was always sceptical but curious to have a Wagamama, and I finally did it and I am glad I did tried it. I can imagine the staff being super friendly, received a lovely little note which made my day and gave me the first great impression. Would definitely eat in one day, I ordered 4 main meals for two as I was unsure of the portion size (it being delivered) and I must say the portion is perfect and the food has such an amazing taste, not too spicy and not too much! Perfect!! would 10000% recommend! My order was (2x shus shiok chicken and 2x tantanmen beef brisket ramen and tropical juice (this was soo lovely and fresh))

Standard Wagamama fare, which is always good. Myself and the teenage children really enjoyed the meal. The staff were friendly. Only criticism (cost a star on the points) was that the option to have a coffee (at 21:22hrs) was not available as the bar had closed due to the restaurant shutting soon (22:00hrs).

Was nice to sit outside was quiet had an early dinner. Yaki Udon was delicious. Sadly one the waitresses brought out one of our dishes to another table but the manager came over, explained and got a fresh dish cooked amd brought to our table and also said we wouldnt have to pay for the dish, so they dealt with the issue the best way he could. This was my first visit to wagamama & I must say it will not be my last! Wonderful customer service and the menu was very accommodating especially since I am on a diet. I had seared nuoc cham tuna which was delightful and under 650 calories I am looking forward to my next meal there.

We had booked a table for 16 to celebrate a birthday. On arrival we were led to our table. Our waitress, Ginge , was friendly and patient whilst explaining the menu etc. Our meals were delivered to the table hot, swiftly and accurately. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere in the restaurant. We had brought a birthday cake with us and a few of the waitresses were happy to bring it out to the table whilst singing Happy Birthday, several other tables joined in with the singing as well. Always an easy decision to eat here when craving for ramen. They are very careful eith allergies and a manager will take the order to make sure your meal is safe for you. I personally dont like all the fresh greens so I just remove it or ask them to hold it as it sometimes doesnt go well with the soup but its still the best in town I believe.

Love this place. Easy to get to, in the centre of Ipswich town centre. We usually park in the Buttermarket car park which makes it really easy to get to. They’re always really welcoming and friendly. Not ever been able to book but always get seated straight away. The food usually comes super quick too. It’s always seriously tasty. One of my favourites is Katsu Curry and love the crispy chilli squid. They do really good smoothies too. Love it and definitely recommend.

Olivia's customer service was impeccable, she was so genuine and honest about the delays we could face and made us laugh every time she come over. If consistency and reliability is what you're looking for then wagamamas is the place to go. The food is delicious eating in and take away, the service is even more fantastic and overall a great food experience. The staff are so polite and all great at their jobs, they really care about customer service. Especially the manager, they always seem to go above and beyond. Never dissapoints and always lives up to my expectations. Definitely the best place to order from for your weekly takeaway. The hot katsu curry and chicken ramen are literally the best thing to happen to food. Can't get enough! 😋

Food standards can vary sometimes depending on how busy it is (I normally order ramen, sometimes when its busy, special requests gets ignored or there'll be less topping/food due to shortage) but that's to be expected. Wagamama's never fails to deliver on great quality service and great quality food. If your a fan of Japanese/Chinese dishes then I thoroughly recommend you go! Food is always piping hot and freshly prepared. Wait times are always kept to a minimum and the price is reasonable for the standard of food and service. They have a great range of dishes so you can go time and time again to try a whole variety of dishes and flavours!

Wagamama - deservedly popular Asian fusion restaurant, currently (10/2020) with Covid19 restrictions in place; queue distancing, wearing of face masks, screens between tables - all good. Wooden bench seats, low and high stools, are comfortable enough. Great quality food, prepared and cooked to order by competent Chefs. Front of house staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Food is brought to your table when it's ready, so it won't necessarily all arrive at the same time. All in all a delightful experience.

Came here for a work meal with the hospice, the manager whose name escapes me is a lovely lady and very friendly and her staff are also very courteous and attentive. They have done a lot for our patients in hospice by providing meals and dining experiences. The food is really good, a good price, very large potions and you definitely don't go home hungry! There is a lot of choice on the menu so it leaves you wanting to come back to try lots more. Initially, i had never been to a wagamama as I thought it was going to be all ramen, it is most definitely not all ramen.

This is quite a nice branch of Wagamama. Having been here quite a few times, the staff are always very friendly and the design of the restaurant feels a bit more sophisticated than some of their other locations. The only downside is what you’d have at any Wagamama. Although the ingredients seem fresh and of good quality, the portion sizes can sometimes leave you questioning the value for money, particularly in comparison to independent restaurants that serve the same kind of food.

I have been to this establishment a handful of times this year. The layout of this franchise is lovely, open and not like a prison canteen unlike every other Wagamama I have been to and feels like a proper restaurant. Would suggest going here as the service is quick but not in your face, leaving you to enjoy your food but never idle, the food itself is some of the best I have had from a Wagamama ranging from its Ramen, Donburi, Curries and Specials with the quality never dipping over the years. Staff are wonderful.

So far it’s the best Wagamama (and I’ve been in a lot of them in London). I have a very serious mint allergy and while in other places people eye rolling at me for keep asking about the mint in the dishes or juices, Ipswich staff were very serious and helpful. We love Wagamama so we are very pleased that Ipswich finally has one of its own! This is a great location and being a new restaurant is a bit different from classic Wagamama - it has comfy booths and more separate tables and seating rather than the long shared benches which is a bit cosier. We've been a few times and the waiting staff have always been especially friendly, great with kids, and keen to go the extra mile - good work!
