Not been having fish and chips lately due partly to them not being up to standard at my local F/C shop. Kirkstall but I thought to hell with price increases and am going to try Midgley's F/C..... Flipping BRILLIANT!!! Had a medium fish and chips and at £6.50 they were well worth it even taking on board the price increase. Thanks to the staff also for their help. As ARNIE would say.... I WILL BE BACK!!!!

They do use a third party provider if you order on line who will take the money out of your account before the order is confirmed by the shop. You will get the money back the next day but your order will not have gone through and you will need to pay (again) in the shop until the next day .

Hi I have just called at this fish and chip shop today, I had fish & chips and a breadcake they were absolutely brilliant. The fish tasted lovely and was light, flakey and cooked wonderfully as were the chips. The staff were polite and friendly too, the shop was clean and I will definitely call again when im in the area. Keep it up 👍👏👏. John

The food is delicious, the spam fritters are melt in the mouth, chips are cooked to perfection. The fish is moist and tasty and the battered sausages are perfect. The customer service is great, the prices reasonable and click and collect has always been hitch free

One of the few chippy's I'll use. Why? The food is cooked right for starters, no undercooked chips, they do proper Yorkshire Parsley fishcakes in batter (to order) and, and this is the most important, they still serve in paper. Keeps the food hotter for longer and retains the flavour. Please don't stop using paper!

They do gluten free battered fish! And it is exceptional! The best coeliac friendly battered fish and we think it as the best gluten free batter we have tried yet. Delicious food, quick service and gluten free, we are so glad we found this place.

We try all types of takeaways and Restaurants and Midgeleys food is consistent and the staff are fab, as far as complaints about the chips....Anyone that knows anything about fish and chips and potato's knows it depends on what time of year it is and what tats are available at what cost!! I've read the bad comments on here and they are obviously put on here as a business tactic....Why are there people queueing out of the door almost everytime we drive past.....? They serve good quality Haddock and the batter stays crispy and tasty even after being wrapped up on 3 mile a car journey home.... Someone comments 'worst fish and chips they have ever had!' well they must have only had them twice and the other time was made by their Mum......Joker!

I had a completely different experience than the past reviews. I've been there and the premises are spotless as the staff which is nice and friendly. They are quite busy and they can keep smiling and serving at a fast pace. The fish is of outstanding quality I wouldn't ask for more to be honest....I am actually going to get one!!! See yaa

Great local chippie can always be relied on for well fried fish in large portions. Travelling around UK it is hard to find f & c as good as Midgeleys. Worth coming home for!
