We popped in for a coffee and a dessert. Nice and clean. Hand sanitisers when you walk in. Staff are friendly and service was good. They serve Costa coffee and the dessert was lovely. I'd recommend a visit.

Just had the privilege of staying at the premier next door for 4 nights & eating at this pub restaurant every night while away on business. The hospitality & welcome from Jade, Mia, several other staff who's names I didn't catch & Connor the chef, who cooks an awesome sirloin was second to none. The general standards of the restaurant & the bar were also excellent, clean, tidy spacious & COVID aware where applicable. In addition they tolerated 8 of us (grown men) from different parts of the country north, east, south, west & all the silliness juvenile misbehaviour & characters that came with it, with professionalism & had a laugh too. When I return to Leicester with work I'd have no hesitation in requesting this as my base Give it a try, the hotel attached is just as good.😊

We booked as a family for Sunday lunch . I'm greatful we booked as the restaurant/ pub was extremely busy the entire time of our stay. The staff seated us straight away taking our order for drinks and were very polite and attentive. We ordered food of two carveries and two children's meals within fifteen minutes of entering and another latte during our stay. Thus totalling £36. I am vegetarian and ordered the pie on the menu I can honestly say it was fantastic . Very nice indeed. The portion of the carvery I consider to be plentiful and the choice of veg is nice too. The children's portion sizes i consider to be small though children's appetites vary on age and pallett. Overall a nice meal.

We were a large party of 11 and the service was amazing. The food came out quick, our waitress was amazing - so polite, friendly and professional. Staying in the Premier Inn overnight after 200 miles driving before the next half of our journey in the morning. The restaurant has menus in the rooms, some dishes can currently be eaten in room rather than the restaurant. I went in to order and was met on a busy evening by a cheerful lady who took my order and was so brilliantly helpful. She even arranged for our food and drinks to be brought to our room - despite initially asking me to come and pick it up as they were so busy. I took the drinks (the gin was fabulous!) and then our food was brought to our room by another really friendly member of the team (still cheerful and lovely after having to open a number of heavy doors whilst carrying a huge heavy tray of food). Our food was delicious (curry, chicken, choc brownie and ice cream sundae), mains were fresh and hot, puddings (ice cream) still cold and the brownie warm and so good. If we're ever back here again I wouldn't hesitate to eat here. The food was just what we needed after our journey and the service was absolutely brilliant especially during such a busy time. To be able to eat in our room at the end of a long, long day was perfect. Unfortunately we'll be leaving too early for Sunday breakfast times or we would definitely be eating there in the morning. Iv always known about the forest park pub/ hotel..we recieved some post at home saying about the meals and breakfast.. so I taken my dad out for breakfast.. it was lovely.. it was hot and pick as much as you want ordered from the table.. also continental breakfast was really nice.. first place that cooks your toast both sides in a machine.. I'm very impressed and my dad liked it too and would definitely go back.. theres plenty of places to sit it's a nice and quite.. no more havester or observatory for breakfast.. top quality

My friend and i were more than satisfied with our meals. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. I had fish and chips delicious and my friend had baked potato. I must admit considering they came from the 2 for 8.99 mine was a large meal and hers was very small in a large dish. I would have been disappointed if i had ordered that. The comparison was extraordinary. potato very small and the dish required 2 potatoes. I would not advise any one to order it. However we would both be re visiting.

In a group of 18 we were advised to pre order all our food before arrival. Would recommend anyone planning on having a large party visit to do the same. I seem to go yearly for a birthday, and everytime i say i wont go again yet i did, and again food is not great, nice pub, staff friendly but the food is so expensive for the poor quality I had nachos which was cheap yellow (the american type) cheese watery sitting making everything soggy, fresh tomatoes and goats cheese, just didnt go and i think they were about £6 Chips cold and taseless, but fish was good and crispy. It's an ok place but the drinks are over-priced, over £8 for a pint of cider and a strawberry and lime rekorderlig is a bit much. Arrived for breakfast and told there would be a 45 minute wait so we left. Given them 3 stars as the staff did seem apologetic and did tell us where the beefeater was where we had an absolutely fabulous all you can eat self service breakfast. The beefeater is about 10 minutes away in the car.

Food was fairly standard pub grub. Fish & chips & burger & chips were fine but children's roast beef was as tough as old boots. Veg & Yorkshire's were fine meat was well overcooked. Salt pot on table was completely empty, had to ask for replacement & so did man on next table. Milk for tea served in dirty jug with bits floating in, had to ask for replacement again. Decor and paintwork were very sad & dilapidated, toilets with chipped & scratched paintwork on doors & strewn with toilet paper on floors and this was only 1.30 pm on Sunday afternoon. Definitely needs some TLC but staff very pleasant.

Stopped for lunch and we were ignored by the bar staff for ages. Eventually a member of staff showed us to a table in the corner near the bar. When we asked if we could sit somewhere other than in the bar she proceeded to argue with us that it was not in fact a bar as there was also a sports bar with sky TV. Even as we expressed our opinion that it was a bar and we would leave the staff member continued to argue with us that it was not a bar. Possibly the rudest staff member I have ever encountered. Needless to say I will not be back.

If you want quick slapped up food at decent price, this is your place. Service is always excellent apart from the doppy assist manager who's a bit of a wet lettece. He wouldnt allow our baby food to be heat up in there kitchen like normal pubs would, hence the three ✨ take him out of the equation and got a good cheap place for a family meal. 👍
