We have been here twice and both times been impressed with the service value for money and flavour. The lamb chops are very fantastic, and the food is served piping hot with lots of selection The staff are friendly and attentive and i enjoy the music and music videos playing in the restaurant

This was the perfect place for large family gathering. Spacious and not hot and overcrowded with other customers. Lots of parking. The food was brilliant. Veg and non veg. Massive portions and excellent prices. The whole family were satisfying and happy. Would definitely book again

Place looks like a mess from the outside, soon as we pulled up was about to leave, but then I thought we would give it a try. Inside was nice and clean staff were very friendly, food came out prompt despite it being pretty busy not like some of the reviews i have read on this place about slow service. I would highly recommend will definitely be going again.

The best lamb jalfrezi I've ever had. Hospitable hosts and a good, reasonably priced menu. Clean, large selection of draft beers and top shelf. What an amazing hidden gem. Can't recommend enough

Good food, if you can get it! They say they deliver (but they never have in 3 years of asking), their payment system is extremely temperamental (never pay until the food is in your possession) but if you can overcome all of that then a very nice meal can be ordered here.

Always have a great meal here. The prawns with the shell on are amazing and his lamb on the bone is just like home made. Reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere and staff look after you. Can't ask for more than that!

This restaurant seems to come under many names but it's at the former little chef. Service was a little slow but they were busy and did apologise for the wait. Food was excellent, I had the quorn starter and a chickpea dish for main. Great menu with lots of veggie options.

Just came back from this restaurant. The food was very nice and the service was excellent. Our waiter was Edward and he was absolutely lovely. He was extra kind to my elderly mother. It's a bit out of the way, but I recommend it. Thanks for a lovely evening

First visit and food was of a good standard as was the service, friendly and not too attentive as some places are. Diners were of Indian origin as most of us are aware if Indians favour the then it must be of standard. Spicenick it out in the sticks but as they are on the side of the A46 they should be hard to find except I'm not sure if they are changing there name? Don't expect a soft lighted romantic restaurant the interior still bears the mark of a once Little Chef but fortunately the food is far better.

Really impressed! The food was fresh and beautifully spiced. There's a good choice of veggie dishes, including Indo-Chinese and loads of paneer options :) The waiters provided just the right level of service and whilst there are a couple of remnants of the little chef left, the bar area's fabulous and there's loads of lovely countryside around three sides, so don't let it put you off ;) We'll definitely be going back. Thanks!

Very tasty Indian food at good prices. Good variety on the menu and chefs can cater to individual tastes. They do a fantastic leg of lamb. Curries are super tasty (especially the garlic chilli lamb). Prawns are delicious too. Good bar as well with wide range of drinks. Also accept card payments.

It was a last minute decision to go to Spicenick for dinner on the Saturday night. They were happy to accommodate me and the family. The staff are very friendly and attended to our requests. The food was really good, kids usually are quite fussy, especially spicy food but here they had no quibbles and enjoyed the food as much as the parents. The portions were good and I would have to say the price of dishes was spot on, compared to other restaurants serving same or similar dishes but not at the same quality. The following Sunday, ended up getting a takeaway from them. And again delivered in good time and still hot. The bonus was they also provided free papadums and salad. Looking for a no frill but great food then Spicenick is definitely worth a try.

Quite Place.The reason for three star is samosa were very oily and methi chickens onions in gravy were burnt however the service was excellent and would definitely recommend fish fry starter and good part you can ask how spicy you want it.
