In my opinion this is by far the best KFC in Leicester. Our family all like 'the Colonel' and whenever possible we travel the 8 miles to go to this one. The service is better and the restaurant is light, airy and hardly ever busy. This makes it easier to get back to the counter after you've checked what's, almost inevitably, missing from or incorrect with your order.

Food was FFC and ok, staff very cheerful, and made the visit with a good laugh , atmosphere was overall pretty depressing with a second large food unit closed down and empty , was OK for a quick stop, but not a destination , very quiet.

Called into the services to use the facilities on the way home. Outside it states that there are a couple of food outlets but one has closed. KFC have a drive thru'. The Shell petrol shop has a very good selection of all foods tinned, chilled and frozen.

I always ask if they have the rib cage cut left then ask just for that .. two is good and usually a Pepsi max. The staff are always willing to oblige if they have them in stock.

It is very good food for being at a service station very clean and very cheap it is a calm atmosphere and is a great place to eat fast food and there is tables to sit and eat at.

Often ....perhaps TOO often, stop here after I finish work in the late evening, staff are always friendly and ive never had a problem with the food, never get why spicy wings are a thing! Lol no meat on them, gimme the breast all day long! Seriously though, a lot quicker than macdonalds!

I go to this branch regularly and have never had any complaints regarding the food. Service can be improved however and that drive thru needs to be sorted ASAP! If you're not careful, then you're bound to scuff your alloys!

Went and collected a takeaway from here today. Food was nice, and staff were friendly. Very easy to find the location too although the drive thru entry is hidden in the corner. A few complaints: one of my two bits of original recipe chicken had no skin or coating on - which was a shame as that’s the best bit. The drive thru lane is very sketchy with high kerbs and tight turns. Loads of paint up the walls from where people have driven round and caught their cars. Someone else has pointed this out before but thought it was worth reiterating. Finally, whilst it is cold out, the menus had fogged up completely and were basically unreadable, good job I knew what I was ordering before I went.

Food was brill as always. We ate in today to take advantage of the 50%, which was great. But, my only worry was about the cleanliness, there isn't much cleaning inbetween each customer that eats in. Luckily, I had taken my own antibacterial wipes for the table and seating!

Really good kfc in fairness, only scored it 4/5 stars because the drive through is quite tight and with high curbs you have to be very careful with your wheels, could be a costly visit to get some chicken, aside from that the food is really good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Food is generally cooked to a well standard, it is tasty and this is halal certified restaurant so it's a bonus for me and other Muslims. Sometimes the original recipe chicken can be a bit overcooked in my opinion and they put too much bread crumbs when cooking the wings. The strips and zinger burger are my favourite and very tasty. Overall value for money and the KFC app usually has offers so it's good to save money from the usual price. They also deliver via Uber Eats, Just Eats and deliveroo.

A below average branch with poor stock availability and slow drive through service. On the plus side, it was open unlike the branch at Leicester Forest East services.

i pulled out from the drive through to see I hadn't received my full order, when taking it back round the manager made an appearance and was extremely apologetic. Both him and the woman assured I left the premises happy as can be and I appreciate the effort they both went through to provide excellent customer service.

Attended KFC at the A6 Service Station. Very helpful and polite staff, good food, clean tables and great speedy service. Halal Chicken (HFA Approved) which was a welcome bonus for us as otherwise I would never have considered eating here. Anyway, this was my first KFC experience and it turned out to be a very good one. I ordered 3x Twister Meals (Mayo, Barbeque and 2x Nashville Hot) and all 4 meals turned out to be delicious. Loved the salad/slaw used including the dressing. Children were made up. Will be looking forward to visiting again when we're up in Leicester.
