I took my husband to Kobe for his birthday. It was so busy and had a great atmosphere. Staff were attentive. The food was delicious. We had originally booked our table for 8.30pm but got ready earlier and turned up to the restaurant. They were efficient and got us our table. Food didn't take too long to arrive. Overall a lovely experience and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

This is a nice place to eat out. It was quite busy on a Saturday night but we managed to get a table. The food is halal with no alcohol on the menu. We enjoyed the steak with the Aspen frirs, crispy prawns and lollypop lamb. Enjoyable meal. Staff were friendly and helpful despite it being busy

Went for food after iftar. I booked for 20:30 and was told my booking was for 20:45 (showed email proof but they said "Someone must have put you down wrong"). So was sat late with my wife who was hungry. Didn't have the rib eye dexter so I ordered a fillet steak. Got a rare and wife got medium-rare. Was decent but I prefer rib eyes. Crispy prawns were very nice. The ribs were the star of the show. It was all a bit pricey but I guess the total cost of living went up anyway. Likely will return.

Pricey but oh so excellent steakhouse in Leicester. This is a not-too-be-missed spot for meat lovers on any foodie expedition. The service was fantastic the waiter and waitress that served us was absolutely fantastic and staff knew their meats and advise well. Quality is beyond reproach and each dish ordered was cooked without fuss to the doneness requested and the sides all delicious. Strongly recommend the T-bone and the mocktails was really good. Very highly recommended.

I usually have good food at this place but the last visit wasn’t great at all, I turned up a little late for my booking but they said they would hold the table for me but when we arrived we still had to wait 20mins. The steak fillets ordered were chewy and fatty, the waiters needed training, clearly inexperienced staff. When we complained about the food it wasn’t received well. Although they Did Sao into the bill for one dish. I doubt after this experience I will be going back anytime soon.

The atmosphere was buzzing on the Saturday we had gone. A long queue for people waiting to be seated. It was spacious but slammed with people walking up and down including the staff. We had to wait 12 miniutes for our order to be taken after asking two members to come and take our order. The positive was that the lighting was perfect and the seats were comfortable. It was very diverse, we had people from all age groups and different ethnic background coming in to eat. In regards to the food: the ribs, as a starter was great! Really enjoyed it the taste, although it was a bit too tender for my liking, too poached for ribs. The main course was a t-bone steak which was cooked well but in terms of quality it was average. Would I come back? Yes, I would come back.

What a fantastic place! So friendly, so welcoming and such delicious food. I had the RibEye Sizzler on the recommendation of a friend and it was amazing. Really good value, really great atmosphere. I’d recommend it for a great night out with friends or family but book in advance as it was so popular.

Called and booked a table for 2. We arrived early and the place was crowded but staff (Kay) was kind to accommodate us sooner and find us a table. Crispy prawns: is a must try. Looks good and tastes even better Flame Grilled Lamb Chops: Tender well cooked, had the flame Grilled taste. Would taste better with some spicy dip. Portion wise was left wanting for more.. Tried 2 Sizzlers for mains, both of them were amazing. Loved the peppercorn gravy suggested by Kay. Mocktails were alright. Overall a good experience. All of the staff were polite,friendly and smiling. Had more than one come and ask if everything was good. Saw Kay stop what she was doing and get the door to see off all customers leaving the restaurant. Kudos to you!

Service was good and good options on the menu. The steaks were well cooked how they were ordered, but the quality of the stakes were slightly below expectation. The prices for the quality of the steaks was way too high too. Might be better for the sizzlers as I ordered the fillet.

Visited from London. Ordered dexter's ribeye and flaming hot burger. The steak was very good. The burger was disappointing. Overcooked patties that made the burger dry and rubbery. Absolutely not worth £15 but maybe that is what locals pay for half decent gourmet burgers in the area. This would easily be a 5 quid burger in east London.

Had the surf and turf and it was lovely, steak cooked just how I liked it and shell peeled straight of the prawns. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The biscoff shake is amazing as well.

Went as a group. My ribs were nice (although a bit too much sauce was used). My friend's all got steak and unfortunately none of them liked their meal. Either cooked incorrectly or just not nice. They came with a side of triple(?) fried chips but it was 8 pieces (yes you can count them they were that few). Our waiter was very friendly and had good banter. We ordered a mojito which was disgusting, left pretty much untouched and management in the end deducted this from the bill (which was kind of them). We asked for our drinks to be sent with our food and for some reason they came back saying they're giving drinks straight away as they're busy, which led to the drinks being flat by the time we got to them.

Travelled to Leicester for this place. Overdue for sure and it didn’t disappoint. Had the Dexter Sirloin steak with the mushroom sauce and triple cooked chips, it was cooked to my liking and was delicious. Mrs has the crispy chicken burger which was flavourful and delicious too. The mocktails were tasty. The service and atmosphere was helpful and welcoming, quick too. Definitely recommend.

Nicely set up. Came with my brothers. Majority ordered the pulled beef burger and one ordered a Classic burger. We also got some of the starters, the prawns were particularly nice and crispy. Radio1 was really upset about the fact they didn't serve milkshakes so he asked the lovely girl with her reinforced teeth in many different ways but she was adamant - NO milkshake here habibi! I think Saleha (sorry if I got that wrong) served us. Hats off to her patience. Radio1 can be difficult. She was polite and joyful, more so than the other lady that dropped off the sauces and ran off without looking at the table or asking if everything was in order... Service by the others wasn't that great, we waited for sauces and water for quite a while... The burgers fell apart as soon as we picked them up, expected that from the pulled beef burger but not from the classic burger. Prices are on the higher side, I don't remember paying that much for a burger in London and this was Leicester. Overall nice experience but more so because of Saleha than the restaurant itself.

We're not newbies to Kobe Sizzlers, so when we do visit, service cannot be better! We ordered something different today, not the usual Sirloin and Sirloin, but we went for a T-Bone and Fillet, which turned out to be our new favourites, well, mine anyway. Beautifully cooked medium well, sauces, etc. The chicken wings were spot on too. I read a few of the negative reviews before I wrote this one, and it really felt as though poor people had walked into a 5* restaurant, sat down and felt too bad to leave, so left a poor review for the possibility of getting their money back when management replies. It's unfortunate that they would stoop that low, and to compare the food to that of a competitor - shocking. Anyway, keep up the good steaks!

Finally got a chance to dine here after months of failed attempts it was totally worth it. By far one of the best steak houses in Leicester to date. From the food to the atmosphere and service everything was impeccable. Place is very busy as usual and can get a bit stuffy at times but nevertheless the food speaks for itself. The steak cuts were amazing very juicy and tender and cooked perfectly to our choice. The sliders and shrimp were perfect appetisers. The drinks only the blueberry daiquiri really shined. Overall highly recommend.

Nice restaurant with a decent atmosphere. We ordered a sea bass sizzler and a Dexter ribeye which were both very good. Soft, tender fish and a juicy, flavoursome steak. I find it strange that the offerings at this restaurant go between two extremes: the sizzler is piled high with rice or noodles, vegetables and chips whereas the Dexter steaks served on boards with roasted tomatoes and watercress come with a very small portion of jenga arranged chips which left me wanting more. I didn’t order the sizzler though because I didn’t want to leave the restaurant over full! No alcohol served which is very welcome considering the restaurant is halal. They did have a nice selection of virgin cocktails as well as the usual soft drinks. Friendly staff both on arriving and leaving. Clean wash rooms and a prayer space is available in the basement if you ask.

Steak had a nice flavour and the chips were really good. I ordered my steak rare and it was more like medium rare to me (and comparing it to the medium rare order from my friend across the table I couldn't see a difference) but I enjoy both it was all good - but if you're picky about not having it over done then this may be more of an issue. The meal wasn't cheap but you do get a lot on the plate so still pretty good value in my view, and the spectacle of the sizzling plates does add to the effect.

Don't judge a book by it's cover, the pictures on Google are very misleading. This is a very lively and well laid out restaurant. Great choice of food. We ordered for starters the crispy chicken and crispy prawns. For main course we got the sirloin steak and chicken steak we also got a portion of onion rings. The food is very pleasing and has great taste, but the onion rings are the stand out items, homemade large onion rings in a nice crispy batter. Would highly recommend this place

This was THE most recommended place in Leicester, I was eager to see if the hype was real or just a myth. Parking was semi-difficult to find as you need a permit to park anywhere close most times. Upon entry, we were greeted by two cheerful staff members. Unlike most places you go to, these guys didn't seem to hate their jobs. We were seated promptly and handed the menus. As we ordered the food, we had enough time to get accustomed to the surroundings - the decor game was indeed strong. Starters were delivered fairly quickly. Presentation was awe inspiring, dishes served in an unfamiliar but beautiful style. The lamb chops looked amazing. Only three were served which was disappointing. Taste-wise, they were slightly bland in flavour but thats probably because I prefer heat. However, it made up for it with the tenderness and juice. Very well cooked, not chewy. You didn't fight with the chops, you just became one with the chops. The crispy chicken, also served in an unusual fashion, tasted amazing. Batter and the crispness was on fleek. You got the sensation of soft and crisp at the same time and that took me by surprise. Full of flavour and a strong hint of spice. If portion size was designed for a non-anorexic human, I'd have been super impressed. So far so good... Then the mains arrived. It took them slightly longer than I'd have liked so my hunger levels were high than your parents expectations. Triple cooked chips. These were steamed, fried and fried again to give you a crunchy and soft combination. They were massive, almost as if they were on steroids. Moving onto the burger, which was thick - the 8oz patty is no joke. Good circumference and she looked a beauty. The bun was well cooked and kept itself together like a good bun should. After the first few bites, I realised why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Don't get me wrong, it was nice but not completely there. Expectation was too high so it fell short. Was slightly dry and lacked that zest that you'd expect from a high-end gourmet burger. I think that if they’d had even added a bit of sauce, it would have swung the vote for me. Chefs special BBQ ribs… and special they were! BBQ sauce was smokey and sweet, but ribs were also chilly and fiery. A Russian roulette in your mouth. For the tastebuds, it ticked all the boxes. The meat was succulent and well worth the six hours of braising. Also, you get more meat and less fat which is a bonus with ribs. Rating: 7/10

Buffalo wing and the prawns are worth a try. Had the Dexter T-bone streak, I thought it wasn't that we'll prepared, the fillet side was spot on & tasted good, but the sirloin side wasn't as good. The amount of chips given with the steak was pretty appalling, probably abt 10 pieces. Given the prices I thought that was poor. A friend ordered the Aberdeen Angus fillet. The fillet was a decent size but with the rice & chips option was a lot bigger meal.

A lot of the surrounding streets are for permit holders therefore have to park further, a good 10min walk which is not too bad after a good hearty meal.

This place is fairly decent located on London Road which has quick access to the train station and parking on side streets. The interior is quite modern and gives you a retro classy feeling. Do not go for the cheaper steak menu, however opt for the premium angus steak menu as it provides more quality and finer taste. The portions are more on the cheaper steak it comes with chips peas etc but the quality lacks. The premium steak menu comes with Aspers Chips (fine cooked chips with mozarella and shaped like jenga) it was so scrumptious! The angus T bone (£22.30) was juicy, you can taste the sirloin and fillet which provided amazing succulent texture with peppercorn sauce complimenting! The cheaper steak tasted like rubber and scrunchy after I tried a bit from my friends and the chips were really standard, nothing special so avoid and opt for premium Angus. The Crispy Chicken starter was simply sumptuous! It is unique the way it is presented in a cup and with the sriracha sauce blended in it just gave you a waterfal full of flavurous crunch! If you order this selection you won't regret your visit in Kobe's.

We booked for 9:30 got seated around 10pm. Food was okay but seemed to have more peas and carrots on the plate than anything else which makes me wonder what the 20£ plate was about. They were quite busy which meant the service was like you were just being rushed. Was okay maybe ill try something different on the menu next time other than sirloin steak. Overall this is an excellent restaurant. The food is high quality but there's a price tag to accompany it. The Angus steak is very good. The Dexter Fillet is by far the best Fillet steak in Leicester. The starters are mouth watering. The burgers are tender and very flavoursome. Worth a visit. 5 stars.

I had the sizzler fillet, the meat itself was Decent but bland and everything else on that plate wasn't tasty. Considering it cost almost £30 it's not worth it at all. The bbq ribs was nice I'd give 8-10 but expensive (£22) and small portion. The chips and coleslaw were good. I've made the trip from Birmingham to here and Overall it was not memorable meal and definitely not worth it. Customer service wasn't brilliant. The waitress that served us had minimal knowledge about the food and she needed to liven up just a tad bit.

The crispy prawn starter was okay. I've tasted very similar starters so it wasn't amazingly special but it wasn't terrible either. The waiters were very friendly,helpful and accommodating. They were very quick so it never felt like we were waiting for them. However, they cleared up the table whilst we were eating which is a little off-putting. It is understandable since the restaurant does get very busy but it felt like we were being rushed out towards the end of the meal. Average food, excellent service and low value for money. The mocktails tasted exactly like juice from the supermarkets, nothing special whatsoever. Texture was watery, not slushy or thick as you would expect. They looked the part but sadly didn't taste it. I tried the pinacolada and the blueberry daiquiri personally. Main course, I personally ordered the surf and turf. I requested the sirloin steak that comes with it to be cooked medium, however they put the steak on top of already hot food placed on a sizzling cast iron hot plate? This defeats the whole objective! After a few minutes of eating, the steak became well done, tough and dry due to all of the residual heat. The king prawns however were very tasty and delicious. My advice to management would be to stop serving this/similar dishes on hot plates and serve them on a wooden board/plate. I'd say it's only worth going here if you buy the aged steaks, I tried a small bit off of a family members plate and it was good. I'd give 2.5*. Loses 1 for drinks, 1 for food and 0.5 for value. I've given 3 for benefit of the doubt. Very overpriced for what you get considering the location, plus it doesn't present itself as upmarket to deserve the price tag. Been a number of times. Consistent food and staff are friendly. My only criticism is the food comes out scalding, not just hot. You have to wait for it to cool down before even taking a bite and as it smells amazing, it's a matter of being patient for 5-10 minutes or destroying your taste buds in the first couple bites. I know it's called "sizzlers" but I also know they can still get the sizzle effect without burning my tongue. But despite that, I still recommend and will continue going back.

We were scheduled to go to More but were intrigued by this new place next door so we thought we'd be spontaneous and jump in to Kobe. Firstly, we were taken aback by the interior design- some really funky stuff and my wife who works at Next as a buyer was really impressed. For drinks we were tempted into a mojito and bottle of coke. It doesn't serve alcohol but we didn't mind. The prawns were beautifully creamy and had a nice flavour while the ribs had a lovely aftertaste. My wife's burger was humongous so i naturally gave her a hand. i'm a meat man i loved it. my wife said she has never tasted a burger like it. my steak smoked the entire place out but it was a novel touch on steak. My steak was cooked nicely and i was pleased with everything overall. So a "chance" meeting with Kobe Sizzlers was actually very agreeable and we will definitely visit again- this time with friends. I loved the food loved the environment loved the staff I will Deffo go again, portions where huge compared to Toros the price was ok too, but slightly high for me lol I will come again but if I don't find man hair in my food again lol but these things happen no big deal I did love the whole experience and I recommend it to everyone x
