The food was nice the services was very fast and tasteful. Would go here for lunch again they have a large selection of sushi and also very reasonable prices. My only issue is that the food was put into a microwave to re heat which just was a bit disappointing but besides that it was good cheap and tasty food

Take away sushi can so often be "hit" or "miss". Thankfully Kokoro are better than most of the famous chain store sushi sellers (i.e. YO! Sushi etc). Made fresh "in house" each day I was pleasantly surprised that my selection was tasty enough to justify a 5-star happy customer review. Plus the lady who served me was so warm in her welcome it just made the whole experience sparkle!

The chicken katsu curry is very nice with generous portions. The spicy chicken is basically dak-galbi which tastes authentic. Their sushi range is also reasonable. It’s a good place for lunch

We have been dining at the Kokoro branch in Wimbledon for years and recently moved away from London. Visiting Leicester we found another branch of Kokoro and it lived up to expectation. The food is great; piping hot, crispy chicken and lovely katzu curry. Plenty of sides are available including spring rolls, gyuko and more. Great assortment of cold drinks and everything is reasonably priced and clear. There is clear brand consistency as the restaurant looks and feels like the others we had been too. Dropped a star as there is still a long wait as the counter is so busy; the toilets were elusive and difficult to find. The restaurant is not suitable for people who are in wheelchairs or cannot go up lots of stairs- however take away us available. There is also a small outdoor area with two tables and seats. Nice to visit this franchise; would go again.

Excellent! Delivered with Deliveroo in 11 minutes. Tastes fresh, with amazing flavour. Was afraid that the pot of hot food was going to be small and overpriced, but blimey, it's as big as my kids head! Good portion sizes and lots of options. The fridge selections of gyozas are yummy too 😋 just wish they'd open the upstairs again so you can dine in. This seems to have be closed for a few months now. But the food itself is good quality 👌🏼

Decent food at sensible prices. If I had one complaint, it'd be that there's no 'small' option - the portion sizes are rather generous and I hate to waste food, so I can sometimes feel deterred from eating there as it's rare that I can finish everything. This isn't to say that current portion sizes should be reduced (good god no!) - rather that a third option, say two thirds to three quarters of the size of the regular, be offered in addition to the current two sizes.

Really enjoy this place for lunch. You get plenty for your money. I had spicy tofu with rice. There are plenty of onions in this dish with red and green peppers. This cost me £4.95 to eat in. There plenty of other options with meat and vegetarian options. You can have rice or noodles plus various other things. I also have had katsu curry, which is fantastic. I would highly recommend that you try this place.

THE BEST CHICKEN KATSU EVER!! Very cheap and delicious food with big portion sizes too! As you walk in its almost subway esque, choose medium or large (medium is super filling!!) then either rice or noodles and your toppings. Thr chicken katsu is around £6 for a medium, theyclayer the sauce throughout the bowl ensuring your rice or chicken isn't dry which I love. They also snip on a generous heap of chicken on top!. Few seating downstairs but more available upstairs. The offer other got sides including gyoza, spring rolls. Additionally there is a selection of sushi and drinks in the fridge to choose from, I highly recommend the prawn sushi. Will always come back here comfort food at its best in the centre of town.

ok, small selection, but adequate for needs. I had sweet chilli chicken noodles and spring roll. I was robbed with the spring roll so won't do that again. I went in for sushi.. they had sushi but I wanted freshly cut not from the fridge. I can go Tescos for that. I wanted a drink but that didn't go down well... so I didn't have any. I sat inside upstairs, it was adequate. it's a shame but it could be done really nice but they have chosen to make it look like a dive. food was nice though, I did enjoy, it was hot hot spicy hot, even though it was sweet chicken. that's why it got three stars

I wouldn't be exaggerating when I claim I've ordered from Kokoro 100+ times. I've had to remove a star from my review however as recently portion control seems to be far stricter. My partner used to work here and mentioned they was looking into this however as of late they have completely cut the amount you get per serving, some times as much as half as much sauce and chicken. Truly a let down, used to be a no brainer "go to" for lunch. Now I often find myself having to justify it and even find myself trying out newer chains in the area like Chopstix. Think about your decisions management, you could be harming your reputation with these changes.

Staff had their backs to us and took a couple of minutes to acknowledge us but service was quick and friendly once they. Food is nice. Some of the sauces are very strong flavours. The sushi is good but not a lot of choice if you don't like avocado in everything. Kokoro is somewhere I'd go again for speed and convenience but, given the choice, I'd probably choose somewhere else like Yo Sushi or Oodles.

First thing I went for when we went here was the katsu curry and it is really tasty. They give you so much chicken and sauce so you get a huge portion for what you pay, really worth it. I've also had the mix and match box and that was great. You can get a whole bunch of mains and try a bit of everything. The teriyaki salmon was also really gorgeous!

The food here is pretty decent. Like Leicester's version of itsu, in a way. Good selection of sushi and they are generous with their servings of hot food. The seating area upstairs is okay but I wouldn't go there for a date as the atmosphere is very bland. But again, the food is very enjoyable and the staff are generally friendly!

Great food especially for the price, lovely service and if you cant finish it when eating in (common) they have no problem giving you a lid to take away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Also a regular seems more like a large so be aware your eyes are usually bigger than your stomach.

Be sure to get there early if you want first pick of the freshly prepared sushi. Good location, lots of seating and quiet inside unlike many of the nearby places to eat in town. Very easy to walk past since the sign is small. Sushi is well priced, and they have a good selection - but this is dependant on the time you go - if you go after 1:30pm there will be a lot less to choose from. Plenty of hot food options too!

So me and my boy went to get some food from this place, you get me. I had it before in Surrey and it was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of warm spicy chicken mixed with warm stiff soft rice. I get home and discover they gave me some dirty Sweet and Spicy Chicken Curry opposed to my desired Spicy Chicken Curry. It was too late for man to complain to bossman. The chicken was too sweet and drowned out the pungency. Man’s not coming back here again.

You could buy Mc donalds, KFC, burger King etc or one of many junk food options, or you could try this place. They have a range of eat in our takeaway options of rice, noodles and many options for meat, vegetables and sauces. For about the sad news price (or less) than junk food options, you can have a tasty and i believe healthier option you'll love and i bet will visit again and again. I use it for lunch at work once in a while as a payday treat. Go give it a try..
