We were staying here. I thought the place was OK. I liked their tofu curry and the vegan lasagne.thought the hallumi fries were OK. We spent around 25 which felt a bit expensive given what we got but I might be a cheap person!
I would only come here of I was staying at the hotel. I would not come out of my way to dine here.

The kitchen restaurant is a nice place to be. I had a few different meals here and they were all to a great standard. While in the restaurant I wanted to order from both the restaurant menu and the room menu, the staff in the restaurant were more the happy for me to do this, despite the menus being different. The staff are very friendly and accommodating in particularly Iffat, nothing was too much trouble for her and she went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met. She seemed to have a good rapport with the other customers in her care. Elliot was also very friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. I stayed at this hotel for a week and everything was to satisfaction. The rooms are clean, well kept, and maintained. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is powerful and the reception staff are very friendly.

Nice Decor and service but the food although nicely cooked was Bland in my view. I had the a=scallops to start with that should have been nice, they were well cooked in texture but the potatoe and smoked bacon brought no flavour. I was a bit surprised there was no Saltyness form the bacon which was quite dry. I have cooked with the juices from Chorizo which gives it great kick but It was just bland. I went for the fillet steak for the main which was very well cooked and the I think Garlic butter was very good - top rating for that. The Pepper Sauce was however thick and gloppy and not that peppery and big disappointment. I had the New potatoes with parmesan which was as described and again was expecting some melted butter / parmesan but I could have prepper at home in 1 min extra. The desert was nice which was the sticky toffee pudding the ice cream was good. But the desert range available was disappointing as I fancied something else. The house red was good as well. Would I go back - actually yes but I would go for chips and have the fillet steak as is - as it was very good and at a pretty good price. I would just go for a different starter.

Fantastic restaurant within the Marriott hotel, lovely design, great food and attentive service. Ordered the ravioli and the lamb and the both were superb. The restaurant has also outdoor space which is nice. Recommend market kitchen for dinner!

I’m in their Lobby now. For a hotel it’s pretty good, but that’s about it. There’s a reasonable menu for a week.
