Booked as came highly recommended by friends and did not disappoint. May well be the best pizza I've ever had - and that's comparing to Rome and New York! Service was great, very attentive, and everything they put in front of us was delicious. Can't wait for our next visit!!!

Ridiculous pizza. Really soft and chewy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The veg on my wife's pizza was incredibly fresh, the meat on mine was so rich in flavour. The pasta that was passing us to other tables looked really good too. Great service, really friendly staff, they really care about the food and loved talking about it when I commented on the pizza dough. Highly recommended

There is not a better more authentic Italian Pizza in Leicester and not what I've tried in the UK. Absolutely incredible and even comes with the Italian owners/chefs singing along to Italian music. If you want Pizza, just go here. There is none better. Also, the bombolni dessert is one of the greatest items of food ever created(see photo) like cream filled donoughts with chocolate sauce.

This isn't any Italian wannabe restaurant. This is a proper Italian restaurant, and from the music to the food and staff it convinced me. The food was amazing and really fills you up. One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in the UK, hands down.

It's truly delicious. The best pizza I have ever had. Honestly the textures of the dough is astounding, the sauce is heavenly and the cheese is perfectly melted. The toppings are amazing as well. Honestly I plan to come back and show my family and friends how great this place is and how truly delicious the food here is.

An authentic Italian experience with great taste, a fantastic atmosphere and lots of choice for all dietary concerns. The toppings are great in flavour as well as amount so would recommend to anyone that loves Italian food. There's also pasta options that also looked amazing.

AMAZING! What a great experience! The food was lovely, the staff was lovely and the chef (who I guess is Maurizio) was a joy to watch! You could tell he loved his job and seeing everyone enjoying the food! The place was packed but is normal, the food was amazing! And desserts… OMG! Can’t wait to be back!

Authentic and very tasty. I ordered calazones for the vegetariana and calabrese. My partner calabrese was the best calazone he has ever had, full on flavour. Really well filled and good size both of which are indicative of the price. The ordering service via WhatsApp is excellent. The owners are lovely. This is a great Italian takeaway.

So moving from their take-away on Narborough Road Maurizio's have moved to a cosy restaurant. The pizza is exceptionally good and matches what I have experienced in Italy itself. Superb choice of Italian beer as pictured from Sardinia. This has a family feel to the service which I loved. I would book as it was very busy. They do deliver via the normal services I also know. Probably the best in Leicester.

Love Maurizios. The food is absolutely fantastic. So fresh and so consistent. First time sitting in with my partner and children at the weekend. (We use to always get takeaway at their previous location). So authentic and something different, to those rubbish chain restaurants. Back soon ❤️

Great pizzas and staff. The only problem was that we were seated downstairs with who I’m guessing were the owners children… they were very noisy playing music from their phones and also pretty rude to the waiter. Did ruin the night if I’m honest. The food was 5 star, the waiter was great, would visit again (if the children were not there 😬)

I’ve just had the funghi pizza and one of the lovely non-filtered beers, and it was absolutely delicious! One of, if not the best pizza I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend Maurizio’s, and I will definitely return :)

To crowded and two many steps to watch out as there were no signs to say mind your step. I missed a step and nearly ran into a man who was eating. Glad I didn't but was awful experience. Food was great but not good place to eat in and service was not good too.

The best and the most authentic Italian Pizza in the UK. Spoke to the owner today when went there to collect my pizzas and you can tell straight away that he puts his whole heart into that place - he showed me all the authentic ingrediendts he gets straight from Italy and he also made me a delicious Tiramisu while I was waiting. Maurizio's is now, in my opinion, smashing the pizza competition in Leicester. Try ANY of their pizzas - they are fantastic! You will not be disappointed. The fries are crazy good too: rosemary, parmesan. Beautiful! If you can't get delivery because they're busy, go pick it up - they're a friendly bunch.

Far and away the best, most authentic pizza I’ve ever had not just in Leicester but in the UK, the tiramisu is incredible as well (massive portions!) and would highly recommend the focaccia. Maurizio, you’re a hero, couldn’t recommend your restaurant highly enough, only shame is i never get any photos because it’s too good not to eat straight away!

Amazing authentic Italian food. This place really have great potential as takeaway. Pizzas are our favourites. They come with classic italian toppings and a good variety to choose from. Maurizio is very polite and friendly. Highly suggested if you miss the atmosphere you found during your holidays in Italy. It is worth the money.

Geniune Italian pizzas not the type you get from big national pizza company's.The Bruschetta is one of the best we have had whether in Italy or Spain and the Nutella pizza is worth a try.This is our go to place for pizza. Visited Mauritzio's Restaurant a few times now for lunch and meetings, this is my first delivery experience. I contacted Mauritzios earlier in the day for a 18:00 deliver, the food came on time, was hot and absolutely tasty!!! I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese (dont expect it to be like we make in the UK), Lasagne and Contadina Pizza. This pizza is next level, forget about the big chains or local takeaway, clearly made fresh and a good balance of toppings on a thin base. The pasta dishes were rich and hearty, full of flavour and portion sizes were good. Great value for money, friendly family service, support this local business, a real gem
